Fantastic , authentic dutch experience

Checkin und Checkout haben reibungslos funktioniert. Der Aufenthalt an sich war gut, aber es fehlt dem Häuschen ein wenig an Zuwendung. Der Terassengarten lädt auf Grund von Unkraut und Laub nicht wirklich zum Verweilen ein. Grill war noch mit Asche vom Vorbesitzer voll. Im Essbereich kommt der Fussboden auf Grund eines Wasserschadens hoch. Aber man darf halt nicht vergessen dass es ein rund 150 Jahre altes Haus ist.Küche und Bad sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Aber es ist trotzdem empfehlenswert Nicholas und sein Häuschen zu besuchen.

Arrivée le vendredi à 14h jusqu’au dimanche 10h nous avons passé un magnifique week end dans cette magnifique petite maison tout confort.Extrêmement bien située au cœur d Édam mais également à proximité des waterland,Volendam,Marken que nous avons visité au cours de notre séjour

Unusual and very cosy little house. Well equipped kitchen and great coffee! Comfortable beds. Nicolas was very easy to communicate with and very flexible when we needed to move the date - thank you. Some parts of the house were a little dusty, and it would have been nice to have a welcome note, instructions, where to park and the permit more obvious, as well as clearer what we could use (e.g food in the cupboards, a welcome bottle of wine/basic ingredients..but actually there was lots in the cupboards but could we use or not?) But overall we had a great time, very relaxed and would recommend as a great spot to explore Edam and the area. Thank you
