CREEK-SIDE 1 Mi to Dollywood! Hot Tub| BBQ| Game

Property is right next to the road, so our family heard traffic throughout the day and evening. Concerns about noise and safety being so close to road.House is showing signs of wear (broken tiles in the master bathroom, toilet in the other bathroom on the main floor was difficult to flush). Game room is down in basement and requires going outside to access, which was challenging at night when it was very dark on the property, and the pool table and air hockey table were in poor shape.Also, the property around the house was very small, limited space to walk our dog and no space for the kids. Hot tub was ok, on the smaller side and did not get as hot as we would have liked (more like a warm bath).House was also smaller than expected based on the listing. Note that while there are 3 bathrooms, only two are in the main house and one is in the basement.

We looked for cabins without stairs inside the cabin. Not one of the pictures showed the stairs at the front door on the inside. My son is in a wheelchair so my husband had to carry him up and down the stairs and up and down the hill to the car. We talked with the owner and VRBO. The owner would not let us out of the rental fee so we could find something more accommodating. VRBO did reimburse us 500. The cabin needs a deep cleaning. There was food under the loveseat, the hall bathroom shower curtain was molded and tiles in the master bath were broken. The vent in the kitchen floor wasn’t attached making it a fall hazard. The picture of the coffee pot online is not as it seems. The sink is broken and no hot chocolate. Other items were out of date. Only 2 washcloths in the cabin for 4 people. Plenty of towels.

We enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin. The host Patricia was great at responding to any questions I had. The game room was awesome I would recommend this place to anyone who has younger or older kids. The only thing that i would suggest is more lights on back side of house since you had to go outside to get to game room.

The beds were terrible. The game room was not accessible from inside house.

Very nice host with great communication. Very nice little cabin. Close to the strip but feels quaint. Would definitely stay again.
