Chalet on the River

Nice little spot with a lovely view right next to the river, very private, big parking. The room is a bit tight. The Bed was very comfy, good quality linens. Fully functional kitchen equipped with all you need for preparing meals. Overall the place needs some love but it’s functional and the river is definitely the highlight yet if in flood season can also be an inconvenience… I enjoyed my stay!

I think the owner should spend a weekend at the chalet and he/she could figure out immediately things that require improvement — such as the bed which lacks a box spring and an adequately sized comforter. The towels which are old and scratchy. The lack of placemats. A new paint job throughout. Pretty much everything has a tired appearance.
