Private and secluded with only a small distance to downtown Bloomsburg. The bridge and sitting area was super neat. Loved the second floor area. Great views. The kitchen had everything we needed (pots, pans, silverware, plates, bowls, etc). Hammock, fire pit, and swinging chair outside was a plus. We walked the property for a quiet stroll. The only downfall, which is expected outdoors in the woods. Lots of mosquitoes. Definitely pack repellent. Will be planning a future visit here or the other Tower!!

My husband and I stayed at the firetower for 2 nights / 3 days in November for our anniversary. We travel several times a year and always look for a more private stay then a hotel room. The firetower is perfect. It is extremely apparent that the owners take pride in this rental. Everything was so well stocked and CLEAN! I have managed a professional cleaning service for over 20 years and this is by FAR the CLEANEST most well maintained rental I have ever stayed in. The decor, amazing, the games and little things to do (books, instruments, puzzles, games, movies etc) are such an added bonus. There were jars filled w individual candies, keurig and drip coffee, spices, GOOD cookware. The view is stunning. There is a firepit and grill for use as well. We explored the hiking trails and saw deer, a possum, fox, rabbits, birds including an impressive woodpecker and even a random cat. The owners provided excellent instructions and communication and are available instantly if any issues arise (we had none). I can not say enough good things about the firetower. You will NOT regret booking this place. We would stay forever if we could lol. Looking forward to booking again.

We had s great time at Suntower. The perfect combination of privacy and access to surrounding areas. The hot tub was fantastic under the night sky, lunch around the fire table peaceful and warm, and loved playing the games we grew up with on the arcade console! All the amenities of home without the noise snd distraction. The walks we took on the grounds were peaceful and we ran into some wild Turkeys as a bonus! To top it off we got to watch our Phillies win game 1 of NLCS. We found a new spot!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my 30th birthday and it was fabulous. We stayed at the Firetower a year or so ago so we knew the Sun Tower would be exceptional as well. It snowed the first night and it was so serene to watch from the windows. We got a good 5-6 inches and were snowed in until Chris and his son (with his 2 cute dogs!) got there to plow for us. He even left the farm truck for us to use so my SUV didn’t get stuck exploring the property. It was gorgeous snow covered. Even though it was 17 degrees at night, the hot tub provided nice warm relief. We enjoyed every moment at the Sun Tower. It was fun going back into the past with the arcade upstairs too. I spent half a night just playing Frogger! It was clean, cozy and comfortable. We also visited the Bloomsburg Town Park and Historic Town. Lots of good places to relax and eat. Check out the guest book at the Sun Tower for places everyone has recommended! I’d absolutely recommend this property to stay at!

Chris has such a beautiful property! We had such a relaxing time just hanging out by the fire and in the hot tub! We were able go walk the property and explore what was on the 60 acres. We saw deer and all different types of birds. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the future!

I had a great experience at the Suntower Chalet. The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. I loved the decor and the hot tub was great to relax in after a day of hiking at Ricketts Glen. The checkout list was very short and reasonable. I would stay here again and recommend this property to friends.

The perfect getaway to relax and enjoy time outdoors. We spent the entire three days walking the miles of private trails, sitting on the upstairs deck reading, and sitting around the fire pit at night stargazing and chatting. The host saw that we had everything necessary to create memories for years to come.

My wife and I stayed here for the 1st time. We invited my father and his wife for the last 2 days. It is hard to believe that such a private gorgeous property exists so close to Bloomsburg. It is quiet, it is a beautiful cabin. Chris and his family take the time to add and think of the small things that stand out. The cabin/house is clean and very well planned in decor. The fire pit was a nightly hangout which is right outside on property. Plenty of of small trails to hike and see wildlife. No complaints at all, you get what is advertised and more! Ok, so 1 small confession is that they have a sit down arcade that showcases 60 games from the 80's- so of course Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, buttttt I fell in love with a war pilot game called 1943. It's the bomb lol - nice extra touch for entertainment, even for a 50 year old! Thanks for sharing your property Chris, job well done.

Our weekend at the Suntower was like no other experience we have had renting. We were extremely impressed with all of the modern appliances, updated features and beautiful decor. This house had everything we could have needed and more. The grounds were breathtaking and the hot tub was immaculate. It was truly a perfect getaway!

This property is as beautiful as the pictures show and exactly as advertised. It is the perfect place to unplug and recharge! The view from the deck is amazing, with the sunrise being a particular stunner. The host is very helpful and communicative. The Firetower itself was tidy and cozy with very thoughtful touches. Be prepared to welcome a family flock of wild turkeys wandering through the yard to join you for breakfast or meet some curious deer friends as you explore the property trails. :-)

I booked this weekend stay to spend some time with my Adult kids. The home was exactly as described, clean. Chris was very responsive to communication. Check in was a breeze. Chris doesn’t require a long list of check out chores, but we always try to leave the house as it was when we arrive. Unfortunately, we had extreme heat and severe overnight storms, so my intention for adventure was dimmed. No matter, though. The house provided the perfect oasis to just stay put and relax. The property itself provided for a nice morning hike. Views were great, too. I would recommend Chris’s Sun Tower.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect to celebrate 10 years together! The house was even better than the photos and super clean. The host was very nice and replied quickly when we had questions. Beautiful property to explore. Would LOVE to come back in another time of year! Only con we found is that locking the door at night only consists of a chain lock (which is very easily unlockable from the outside) but we brought a portable door lock we had to feel more safe & comfortable. However, the farm is very private and I’m sure safe but I am a worrier lol the pros deff out weighed the one con though.

We wanted a break from the city and we really enjoyed this house. We spent lots of time on the upper deck listening to the birds. The view is great. The mowed paths are many and great to walk around on - well marked too. The tree farm is cool to see. It’s a well designed little spot with nice touches of style. Very clean, comfy bed, pillows and sheets, lots of blankets too! We played the in-house guitar and the cajon drum as well. Fun time!

Firetower was exactly as described and depicted in the photos. It is a hidden gem secluded on a beautiful property, yet is only 5 minutes from downtown Bloomsburg if you need any essentials. Communication from Chris was proactive in advance and very helpful. Our stay was only 2 days, but it was just what we had in mind for our Wedding anniversary. Highly recommend a trip to Ricketts Glen State Park to see the waterfalls, which was only a ~35 minute drive from Firetower. We certainly have intentions of returning to Firetower again in the future and have already started mapping out our return trip.
Firetower was exactly as described and depicted in the photos. It is a hidden gem secluded on a beautiful property, yet is only 5 minutes from downtown Bloomsburg if you need any essentials. Communication from Chris was proactive in advance and very helpful. Our stay was only 2 days, but it was just what we had in mind for our Wedding anniversary. Highly recommend a trip to Ricketts Glen State Park to see the waterfalls, which was only a ~35 minute drive from Firetower. We certainly have intentions of returning to Firetower again in the future and have already started mapping out our return trip.

My husband and I stayed at the firetower for 2 nights / 3 days in November for our anniversary. We travel several times a year and always look for a more private stay then a hotel room. The firetower is perfect. It is extremely apparent that the owners take pride in this rental. Everything was so well stocked and CLEAN! I have managed a professional cleaning service for over 20 years and this is by FAR the CLEANEST most well maintained rental I have ever stayed in. The decor, amazing, the games and little things to do (books, instruments, puzzles, games, movies etc) are such an added bonus. There were jars filled w individual candies, keurig and drip coffee, spices, GOOD cookware. The view is stunning. There is a firepit and grill for use as well. We explored the hiking trails and saw deer, a possum, fox, rabbits, birds including an impressive woodpecker and even a random cat. The owners provided excellent instructions and communication and are available instantly if any issues arise (we had none). I can not say enough good things about the firetower. You will NOT regret booking this place. We would stay forever if we could lol. Looking forward to booking again.

Always looking for unique places to stay for our anniversary, the beautiful Firetower offered georgous views and a sense of being alone in the wilderness. We enjoyed the adventure of driving the gravel road up the hill (our Toyota Prius handled it no problem) and were glad that the weather was good for our early November stay. We are fortunate at age 70, to still be nimble enough to climb the stairs to the 2nd level bedroom and the wrap-around deck. We enjoyed hiking the property, exploring Bloomsburg, spent a couple amazing hours at Bill's Old Bike Barn, and enjoyed driving by Knobles and dreaming of returning again on warm summer days. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We wanted a break from the city and we really enjoyed this house. We spent lots of time on the upper deck listening to the birds. The view is great. The mowed paths are many and great to walk around on - well marked too. The tree farm is cool to see. It’s a well designed little spot with nice touches of style. Very clean, comfy bed, pillows and sheets, lots of blankets too! We played the in-house guitar and the cajon drum as well. Fun time!

I had a great experience at the Suntower Chalet. The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. I loved the decor and the hot tub was great to relax in after a day of hiking at Ricketts Glen. The checkout list was very short and reasonable. I would stay here again and recommend this property to friends.

This property is as beautiful as the pictures show and exactly as advertised. It is the perfect place to unplug and recharge! The view from the deck is amazing, with the sunrise being a particular stunner. The host is very helpful and communicative. The Firetower itself was tidy and cozy with very thoughtful touches. Be prepared to welcome a family flock of wild turkeys wandering through the yard to join you for breakfast or meet some curious deer friends as you explore the property trails. :-)

I booked this weekend stay to spend some time with my Adult kids. The home was exactly as described, clean. Chris was very responsive to communication. Check in was a breeze. Chris doesn’t require a long list of check out chores, but we always try to leave the house as it was when we arrive. Unfortunately, we had extreme heat and severe overnight storms, so my intention for adventure was dimmed. No matter, though. The house provided the perfect oasis to just stay put and relax. The property itself provided for a nice morning hike. Views were great, too. I would recommend Chris’s Sun Tower.

We walked on one of the many tails on the property and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The communication with Chris was simple and without delay. Bloomsburg is literally right up the road and has a quaint downtown with some restaurants. We also spent the day in Jim Thorpe and rode the train and walked around and visited a few shops and restaurants.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my 30th birthday and it was fabulous. We stayed at the Firetower a year or so ago so we knew the Sun Tower would be exceptional as well. It snowed the first night and it was so serene to watch from the windows. We got a good 5-6 inches and were snowed in until Chris and his son (with his 2 cute dogs!) got there to plow for us. He even left the farm truck for us to use so my SUV didn’t get stuck exploring the property. It was gorgeous snow covered. Even though it was 17 degrees at night, the hot tub provided nice warm relief. We enjoyed every moment at the Sun Tower. It was fun going back into the past with the arcade upstairs too. I spent half a night just playing Frogger! It was clean, cozy and comfortable. We also visited the Bloomsburg Town Park and Historic Town. Lots of good places to relax and eat. Check out the guest book at the Sun Tower for places everyone has recommended! I’d absolutely recommend this property to stay at!

The communication from Chris was very thorough. Before we arrived, we were given very detailed instructions on how to navigate the property along with his contact information. The place was exactly as beautiful as it was described in the listing. Fire tower is surrounded by nature and we felt isolated but also, it’s just a short drive to get into downtown Bloomsburg. Waking up to the sunrise was our favorite part. We will definitely be back to stay at Fire Tower in the future!!

He has since replaced the unit, so no worries. The chalet was quite welcoming and Chris goes above and beyond to make guests feel like its their home away from home. The chalet is modern & includes pretty much anything you need to cook etc. It's about 5 minutes from Dollar General & about 10 minutes from an assortment of grocery stores. We would definitely recommend it to friends & family.

The suntower is exactly as described and shown and is a great property with trails for hikng, biking or exploring for all ages. Close to town and all area attractions. It was homey with all amenities ever needed and perfect to stay in any season!

The house is on a beautiful piece of property. Very secluded yet you are only a mile from downtown Bloomsburg. Also, only a short ride to Ricketts Glen, which I highly recommend going to.

The location is close to everything yet very secluded and relaxing. We stayed for graduation weekend at Bloomsburg University and truly enjoyed out stay. The host was very responsive and the upon arriving everything was well prepared and ready for our stay. I would stay at this property again and will recommend it to others staying in the area.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The Firetower has everything you need. If you want to stay in and cook your own dinner, everything‘s provided if you want to go out there’s tons of options for restaurants nearby. If you just want to stay on the property and relax and hike around, you see tons of wildlife. If you want to explore, there’s endless options. We did a little bit of both Ricketts Glenn is about 40 minutes away with hiking and waterfalls. Well worth it. We went kayaking at Montour preserve. Also enjoyed our time at the Firetower out by the bonfire and hiking the trails. You definitely won’t be disappointed staying here.

The quiet, the woods, the morning sun greeting us - all we could have asked for in a retreat. We saw lots of wildlife and the view of the mountains was a mind painting we will take home. The Fire Tower was close to restaurants and anything you would need in Bloomsburg. We had two great days at Knoebels Amusement Park my childhood Happy Place. It could be your adult version too!! Ricketts Glen State Park offered a challenging hike. Lots to do nearby with a cool property to explore.

We had an amazing time at the Fire Tower. It was a mid way point for my cousins and my family to meet to have a nice boys trip together. The kids obviously loved the loft and wrap around deck on the property. We spent many nights having fires and cooking food/smores. The area is very secluded so we never felt that music was too loud or that we lacked any privacy. We enjoyed watching the local animals such as deer wonder the property. Much of our time was spent fishing in the surrounding ponds and rivers and it was so nice that, even while being very secluded, there were so many attractions and grocery stores that were conveniently located within a 10 minute drive. It was extremely hot so we didn’t go on as many hikes as we wished, but we were extremely grateful that the fire tower had split units that kept us super comfortable. Everything was exactly what we were hoping for. The kitchen had every amenity that was necessary for cooking for two small families. Our favorite part was probably drinking coffee and eating breakfast at the outdoor table on the second floor watching the sunrise in the nearby mountains. 10/10 would recommend. The host was also extremely responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. Probably scheduling a trip again for next year!

What an unbelievable treasure! Located on a beautiful property with lots of space to explore, the fire tower is a fun tuck away that just uses with character and ambience. Just being there helps you feel connected with nature and the people you’re with! I will certainly be coming back!
What an unbelievable treasure! Located on a beautiful property with lots of space to explore, the fire tower is a fun tuck away that just uses with character and ambience. Just being there helps you feel connected with nature and the people you’re with! I will certainly be coming back!

Host was very welcoming and kept in touch. The property was beautiful and we had a nice relaxing weekend. Only issue was the split unit for heating and cooling in the bedroom was really loud, the find creaked very loudly. Ceiling fans could use a little dusting.

The beauty of this place is beyond words. Its so peaceful and quiet and feels secluded but is actually conveniently close to town. The Firetower itself is amazing. Its one of the coolest places you'll ever find to stay in and has all of the conveniences and amenities of home.
