This was our second three-week March stay in Koolbardi, since it fits our needs so well. It's only two minutes downhill to the shops and activities of Strickland Street but was very peaceful - with the museum and arts club across the road. There's a driveway and carport at the back and trees and bushes around it (lemons, limes and figs ripening while we were there; olives on the way). Also a raised terrace, BBQ, outdoor dining table and chairs and good outdoor lighting. Inside there's a huge open-plan area with a wood-burning stove (lots of wood available in the outdoor store, but we didn't use this) and very attractive darkwood floor. Beds were very comfortable, shower worked well, kitchen was well-equipped (we borrowed a salad-spinner from our family, that was all), and the whole place is light, cool in hot weather and has a marvellous ambience about it. We were very happy there and might even be back a third time... :-)
