Comfy bed. Good shower. Very clean. Unique in that you park horizontally in front of your room for easy loading and unloading. This place is old, but has character. Front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. My only complain is the tiny, thin towels. You needed like 3 of them to get dry, but in this room with 2 guests there were only 2 thin towels, 1 wash cloth, and 2 hand towels. No extra roll of toilet paper and we used it all and had no replacement. This place was so inexpensively priced! We would stay here again and bring our own towels.

Everything was great. Wish they kept there main hot tub working and it would be nice to have a good breakfast. All in all everything was clean and as expected.

The hot tub was shut down and tile falling off the pool. Bathroom was dirty, the hot water handle looked like it was coming out of the wall. We did get locked out of our room, but service was quick to get it resolved. The rooms were clean, but the beds were small for queens.

Excellent place to stay. Clean, beds were very comfortable. I have stayed here several times in the past year and i have not been disappointed. They have an indoor pool that you can actually swim in (most places dont have usable pools anymore). You definitely get more for your money staying here.

Very quiet and enjoyable stay. Staff was friendly. Pool area could use some updating and repairs.

The room was clean. Air conditioning works very well although there is no phone in the room. There is no sign for it. Do not disturb perks in the room a microwave and a refrigerator and at the time I went, the hot tub was out of order.

Great place for the price. Rooms are great. If they put money into tiles by pool and ceiling tiles in pool area then they will have to charge more.

What an amazing room! Extremely clean, nicely decorated, and all around amazing deal. The lobby is gorgeous from our front window and parking right next to the bedroom door is convenient. On the outside this property looks rough but it is a real gem. We honestly can't believe how amazing this suite is for the price we paid! I would definitely stay here again.

comfortable bed. hot tub not working

Normally don’t complain, because you get what you pay for. It was a cheap hotel. We only needed a place to sleep, but it took over 30 mins to even check in and get our room. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived so we called the number that the note at the front said to do. No one would answer and I left two messages. We set in the hot lobby for almost 40 mins before anyone ever arrived to help us. Then we got our room and the sheets were very stained and the lights wouldn’t work. The only light besides the bathroom light that would turn on was the lamp on the table and you had to crawl under the table to plug it in and there was no way to turn it off except to crawl back under the table and unplug it. On a positive note- the beds were comfy if you could get past all the stains on the bedding. Also the air conditioning worked well.

To start, the hotel doesn’t have a visible sign outside to indicate what it is. When you enter the hotel looks decent. As shown in pictures. When arriving in room, it’s as seen in pictures. However, it claims to be nonsmoking with a strong smoke scent. That didn’t bother us as the room looked decent. After the first night I noticed a couple big bites but didn’t think anything of it since I possibly got bitten by mosquitoes. However, the second night I woke up around 2am to use the restroom in which I noticed my whole left arm had bite marks and was swollen. I promptly looked around the bed and noticed a bed bug on the head of bed. I kept looking and found another on the floor. My room was 403. Directly in front of the front desk. At approximately 2am I ran to see if there was anyone in the front desk. There was no one. I waited until later that morning to inform the front desk. As I started packing my mom noticed another bed bug crawling on the bed and we killed it on site. After explaining to the front desk staff they called their boss and explained the issue. They informed me that I would be given a full refund. Afterwards they claim to not have found anything, therefore I will not get my full refund. I have on video recordings the staff stating that I would get my full refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. There are bed bugs and the staff clearly doesn’t care and will lie their way.I showed her my whole arm where I have a dozen bite marks. Still wasn’t given a refund from this place.

I booked our reservation based on other reviews. Everything was tidy but not clean. The grout in the bathroom was very dirty, the sink and bathtub weren't very clean either. The shower curtain was too short to stay in the tub during a shower. There was a screw sticking up out of the floor going into the bathroom. The rooms don't have a coffee maker and don't expect to get fresh coffee from the lobby either. Our TV kept flickering and had a black line running down the right side of it. This isn't a nice place and I wouldn't recommend it.

The floors were dirty with crumbs from previous guests and hair on the walls of the shower.

It was just a quick stay but check in was quick and smooth, room was clean, hotel was secure, and check out was just as easy. My go to in Emporia.

That’s as far as I got because even though I followed through with the confirmation instructions to inform the hotel if I was arriving after 10pm I received no communication from the hotel and arrived to find the lobby empty and when I called the number on my reservation and from google it went directly to voicemail. I was on a long road trip and just needed somewhere to sleep. So after getting no response from anyone with eleven boutique I had to find new accommodations at a very late hour. This hotels lobby and parking lot were old, dingy and run down. I wouldn’t let my dog walk on the floors in there. Avoid this place they wouldn’t even call me back after leaving several messages let alone give me a refund for a room I never had a chance to check into.

Room was disgusting. Beard hairs around the sink, cobwebs in corners, stains on every wall, stains on pillowcases, broken zippers on pillows, a film on every surface. When I wiped it away with a white washcloth, a nasty brown stain was on the cloth. The only time I took my shoes off was to shower. In addition to the filth, a box valance above the window was barely attached to the wall. There was blue painters tape sealing the adjoining door. A roach trap was on a shelf by the sink. The A/C didn't work beyond the fan running which is fine because the air that came out of it smelled weird anyway. As for safety, I was concerned about leaving anything of value in my car. My room was located in the third building at the very back of the property. I kept the bolt & chain lock on the door at all times whenever I was in the room. I also pushed the desk in front of the adjoining door. Guest service left much to be desired. A sign at the front desk said the owners live onsite so if there is no one at the desk, call a number. I called (went to voicemail) & waited 15 minutes for someone to come check me in. He took forever & then left me on my own to figure out where my room was. That should have been a sign to get out of there but there were no other open rooms in town due to other events happening the same weekend. If they made all of the rooms look like the pics this wouldn't be a bad place to stay. Save $80 & avoid at all costs. You'd be better off sleeping in your car.

Quick and easy check-in... Rooms impressively clean. Very competitive rates.

This hotel is a dump. There were more things broken in our room than there were working. The AC wasn’t working and the room was weltering The faucet on the bathroom sink would not turn to cold so we had to brush our teeth with water from the bathtub faucet. The only electrical outlet in the bathroom was dead and all the electrical outlets in the room were so worn out that they wouldn’t hold a plug. This place has the ignominious distinction of being the worst accommodations we had on our cross country drive.

Well, I had my reasons for staying there but when a place is half the price of everything else in the area you gotta wonder. The bed was comfortable and clean. Door didn’t close securely. You had to be your own plumber to make the shower work. How this got an 8/10 rating is beyond me.

There were several issues which management could improve upon 1. Bed was made incorrectly...sheet was on top. Blanket underneath 2. No full towels available, largest towels are hand towels 3. TV issues...vertical line through the screen. 4. Hair dryer didn't work...well, it started to smoke so we turned it off 5. No bulb in one of the bedside lamps. The bed WAS comfy and room was quiet.

Huge suite, separated bedroom and living room.

Disappointed in the room. One light didn't work. Light in bathroom was very dim. When we went to take a shower in the morning, the faucet fell out of the wall. Toilet seat was cracked. No kleenex in the holder. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. Disappointed that the restaurant wasn't opened yet even tho it says a restaurant is there.

The room smelled gaggingly strongly of cleaning product. There were no cups. The toilet ran and just jiggling the handle wasn't enough. There had apparently been an attempt to fix the toilet with a tie wrap(!). The tub faucet leaked badly. The towels were microscopic and there was no bath mat. The bed was wonderful which is the only reason we are not giving an overall rating of 1. You get what you pay for

Very cool new looking furniture. Great bed! Parked right in front of my room! With the exception of a couple marks on the bathroom door everything in there looked new and newly painted, and this place should be 100% booked every night. Because it's also a really great value!

The hotel manager was super super nice, very accommodating!!! The room was very clean!!! No stuffy or perfumed smells bed super comfy!!! Plus parking right outside your door is always a bonus!!! would definitely absolutely stay here again!!

They are the nicest staff I’ve experienced in along time and I’ve been in many many rooms lately.

There was no front desk attendant to an open office to attend us when we got there even though I called to inform them we would be there past midnight, which they acknowledge and said it would be okay. There are three different numbers listed and only one works. I even texted, since it was a number that went to an unset up voicemail to no avail.tje next day they still had not reached out. Disappointed as we had been driving for 10 hours.

Rather than list everything, I would simply not recommend staying here. The "manager" was attentive; through a translation app on his phone. No English. There was a sign indicating a restaurant; no restaurant. Granted it was a snow emergency and I needed to get off the road. But no vending machines (although there was a sign); unable to get to food; no services close enough to go to; and worse of all - when I was digging my car out he came by with a snowblower blowing snow over what I had cleared - three times. No one had plowed; or shoveled. The price the first night was fine; the second day it more than doubled. The manager said "you pay" when I went to find the vending machines and locked my door behind me having to let me back in with his key to get my credit card. I was increasingly uncomfortable. The housekeeper was cheerful and smiles - she was the only nice part of the stay.

Needed a quick overnight stay this was perfect. Staff was extremely helpful as I was coming in late and getting me settled right away without anyone at the front desk. Make sure to call ahead.!! thank you Jeffrey!

Don't let the low price scare you. This is an incredible value. The hotel is not fancy but it is clean and safe and the owners are very nice. Bed very comfortable. The towels are thin but I brought my own. If you you're in town for disc golf this is an amazingly affordable place to stay. Great location to many courses.

It's conveniently off 35. Good place for the cost. No breakfast but there is coffee.

Convenient Location.

Nice little place with friendly staff. Was very clean and felt safe. Industrial area - so nothing close by- was really surprised by how comfortable the beds were for such an inexpensive motel. Everything worked. Nothing was broken. Brick building. Clean and comfortable- would stay here again (just to give you context of my preferences- the night b4 I stayed at a Hilton)

The rooms were clean. The front desk greeters were helpful and kind. The hotel itself was a little scary with a lot of people (I’m not sure they were guests?!?) walking around and hanging out in the parking lot in the evenings/night. We definitely didn’t feel safe in the area. One of the doors to the pool area looked like someone had used a crowbar to try to break in and it just didn’t feel like a place I’d go back to. But as mentioned before, rooms were clean and staff was nice.

The property is very good with large rooms and parking right outside the door. It is convenient for us to travel. As Emporia is a small town we do feel it is pretty safe. The surrounding area is not great as it is not close to Restaurants/shops and not very walkable. As this hotel does not serve breakfast, it is a travel to get food. The office is only open at 9am making it inconvenient in case you need help.

Room was nice. Area not good. Smell of cannabis outside room. Seemed to be used for government supported housing.

Although looks a little sketchy on the outside, the inside was nice and comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here if traveling and need a clean inexpensive place to sleep. We started on our trip up north and on the way back.

A good value...the lobby was from a by-gone era - kind of a waste of space, but nostalgic - almost mid-1960s when I was a child vacationing with my parents. I do wish there was in-room coffee, but I travel with caffeinated soft drinks, so I was okay. I'll stay there again if they keep the value. To me, a motel is a place to get off the highway, watch a little TV and sleep. I don't even use the pool (bathing with strangers), which this place does have.

A nice place for the money. My only criticism is that there was no in-room coffee, and the microwave was in a cabinet about three inches above the floor. But these are minor quibbles. Next time I'm in Emporia I'll stay here again!
