House was perfect for our 6 adults and 3 children. Theresa met us at the house and check in was easy. The kitchen had plenty of room and had everything you need for cooking. Could use some newer pans.

I wish I could add bonus stars; this was such a great place to stay, and Theresa did an amazing job. The combination of seclusion/serenity on the pond and in the woods, with access to the lake, cannot be beat. The house is huge, with a strong Grandma's house vibe - but like, the best Grandma's house you could possibly imagine, loaded with places for kids playing hide and seek; with a dock to catch frogs from right out the back; with incredible views every direction. If you didn't get this from the map, this is not the place to stay if you're looking for restaurants, culture, and city life. But if you want a retreat with your family in the best possible nature setting, look no farther!

We had a wonderful time and Theresa was very helpful and thoughtful. We enjoyed the views and had campfires on the beach and near the home. The kids enjoyed kayaking and we hiked nearby. No one ever had to wait for a bathroom!

This property was great! Lots of room for the trucks, trailers, And side by sides! Had nice out side scenery. This is close to the trail systems and the local bar grill. In side you have lots of room for you and your guests. Nobody was on top of each other. Everyone got their own room for the most part and lots of bathrooms too! We really enjoyed our stay hope you do too!

I can give only complements for this great place to spend the vacation on the beautiful location in a very secluded large cabin/house. Great quality of all kitchen items. And Theresa she was the best, even bright her own Dutch oven, she gave our kids a Lilly pod to play on the lake, she was outstanding host.

The cottage matched the listing exactly. It was spotless and had anything we needed. The property was lovely and we had plenty of room - we could have fit a lot more of us (too bad the listing caps guests at 10)! I’m generally not a huge fan of having to meet the manager on the property to check in, but it was nice to have her point out the lake access spot and she gave great tips for the area and the cottage. I took a nice 3 mile walk around the lake every morning, beds were comfy, showers were warm and had a 3-in-1 wash in them, and there were numerous spots to sit and relax. We did not do any cooking, but kitchen seemed well appointed. Highly recommended this rental!

My family and I were able to enjoy a 7-day stay at this wonderful property. It had all the amenities needed for a family of eight people.Teresa met us when we got there and gave us a tour of the house. She also told us about its history, which made staying there even more pleasant. Having the lake across the street and the fire pit outside, made for some wonderful evenings of kayaking and s'more making.

6 of us had a retreat at Big Twin Lodge. This review reflects each one of us. The home is easy to find. It sits on a gorgeous piece of property. It is peaceful and fairly secluded yet close to fun outdoor activities…ORV trails, kayaking, boating, etc. We got 6” of snow while we were there and felt like we were in a wonderland. Windows throughout the home expose postcard worthy views. Can't wait to go back in the summer! The home is very spacious, very clean and well kept. Some will say it's dated but we were too busy looking outside to notice and we didn't care. The kitchen is as well stocked as my own and lots of room in there since that always seems to be where people gather. Everything we used in the kitchen worked as it should. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. None of us slept on sofa beds so no comment on those. 3 1/2 baths was a definite bonus! Very clean and lots of towels and supplies. Also a huge laundry room that you can utilize! The sleeping porch is awesome! Best spot to claim! There are several porches and the views are outstanding. Theresa was great. Very informative and helpful. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She has definitely put a lot of loving care into this home and we appreciated it! Would definitely stay again!

Everything about this place amazing! We wanted an earlier check in because we were traveling so far and the home owners were able to work with us. They were very detailed and helpful to make sure we had a great stay. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful and you can see it right from bed. If I had any questions Theresa was more than quick to answer. We will be back. 10/10!!

Exactly as described & what are group was looking for. A relaxing get away in nature. Although, we were gone half of the day on Saturday, it was very relaxing to come back after our adventures. Very spacious for the 9 of us. Host was great!

Big Twin Lodge was an enjoyable place to stay for our extended family for four nights. The house had plenty of space for our group of ten adults. Family members kayaked Louie’s Pond, relaxed on the beach of Big Twin Lake, and caught fish on both bodies of water. We are contemplating a return visit for next summer!

This worked perfect for our vacation. We had a wide range of ages from a colicky 4 month old all the way to a 84 yr old and everyone had a wonderful time. So much space with great sound proofing between floors which was very handy when the baby was exercising his lungs. Everyone wants to go back again! Thank you for sharing your home.

House was perfect for our 6 adults and 3 children. Theresa met us at the house and check in was easy. The kitchen had plenty of room and had everything you need for cooking. Could use some newer pans.

Everything about this place amazing! We wanted an earlier check in because we were traveling so far and the home owners were able to work with us. They were very detailed and helpful to make sure we had a great stay. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful and you can see it right from bed. If I had any questions Theresa was more than quick to answer. We will be back. 10/10!!

I can give only complements for this great place to spend the vacation on the beautiful location in a very secluded large cabin/house. Great quality of all kitchen items. And Theresa she was the best, even bright her own Dutch oven, she gave our kids a Lilly pod to play on the lake, she was outstanding host.

We had a wonderful time at Big Twin Lake. Plenty of space with all amenities, very peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed being able to have sunlight from most sides, and very comfortable accommodations. Within reasonable distance from many different desireable towns and attractions. And our host, Theresa, was very prompt to respond to our inquiries. Would definitely come back!

From arrival to departure the process was fantastic. The host did an amazing job of communication throughout booking, arrival , and departure. The property itself is beautiful ! If you are looking for a place for family to relax and have fun this is the place for you!

Just got back from a nice weekend of snowmobiling. The house is plenty big to accommodate groups of people and has everything you need for your stay. The parking was tight with enclosed trailers but only a 1/2 mile from the trail. Our host was great and very accommodating, will stay here again.

The cottage matched the listing exactly. It was spotless and had anything we needed. The property was lovely and we had plenty of room - we could have fit a lot more of us (too bad the listing caps guests at 10)! I’m generally not a huge fan of having to meet the manager on the property to check in, but it was nice to have her point out the lake access spot and she gave great tips for the area and the cottage. I took a nice 3 mile walk around the lake every morning, beds were comfy, showers were warm and had a 3-in-1 wash in them, and there were numerous spots to sit and relax. We did not do any cooking, but kitchen seemed well appointed. Highly recommended this rental!

We came up for a long weekend to snowmobile with 6 of us in the group. The house was perfect and could have hosted a lot more people. The property manager was so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend.

The house is very spacious and clean! There were many “extras” provided that were greatly appreciate and made us feel welcomed. The host, Theresa was very quick in replying to my questions and very thorough. Thank you!

This was a great house for a group, had multiple families and was plenty of space! Great location to lots of lakes and very close to the trail system for riding ORV’s. Very much enjoyed our stay!

I wish I could add bonus stars; this was such a great place to stay, and Theresa did an amazing job. The combination of seclusion/serenity on the pond and in the woods, with access to the lake, cannot be beat. The house is huge, with a strong Grandma's house vibe - but like, the best Grandma's house you could possibly imagine, loaded with places for kids playing hide and seek; with a dock to catch frogs from right out the back; with incredible views every direction. If you didn't get this from the map, this is not the place to stay if you're looking for restaurants, culture, and city life. But if you want a retreat with your family in the best possible nature setting, look no farther!

We had a wonderful time and Theresa was very helpful and thoughtful. We enjoyed the views and had campfires on the beach and near the home. The kids enjoyed kayaking and we hiked nearby. No one ever had to wait for a bathroom!

This property was great! Lots of room for the trucks, trailers, And side by sides! Had nice out side scenery. This is close to the trail systems and the local bar grill. In side you have lots of room for you and your guests. Nobody was on top of each other. Everyone got their own room for the most part and lots of bathrooms too! We really enjoyed our stay hope you do too!

Great location if you want to get away from the drone of suburban sprawl. Go to sleep to the sound of loons in the evening and wake up to Kingfishers in the morning.

6 of us had a retreat at Big Twin Lodge. This review reflects each one of us. The home is easy to find. It sits on a gorgeous piece of property. It is peaceful and fairly secluded yet close to fun outdoor activities…ORV trails, kayaking, boating, etc. We got 6” of snow while we were there and felt like we were in a wonderland. Windows throughout the home expose postcard worthy views. Can't wait to go back in the summer! The home is very spacious, very clean and well kept. Some will say it's dated but we were too busy looking outside to notice and we didn't care. The kitchen is as well stocked as my own and lots of room in there since that always seems to be where people gather. Everything we used in the kitchen worked as it should. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. None of us slept on sofa beds so no comment on those. 3 1/2 baths was a definite bonus! Very clean and lots of towels and supplies. Also a huge laundry room that you can utilize! The sleeping porch is awesome! Best spot to claim! There are several porches and the views are outstanding. Theresa was great. Very informative and helpful. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She has definitely put a lot of loving care into this home and we appreciated it! Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at this rustic property; all the charm of a cabin feel but without sacrificing any modern amenities. Great place to hibernate through the big snow storm.The windows sure made amazing views.Theresa the host was very hospitable and very accommodating The openness and cleanliness of the house was amazing. I fell in love with the place. The layout was perfect as everyone could have their own space and amazing spaces for family time.Very comfortable home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The host was responsive and made the entire process easy from booking to checkout. The location was perfect, and we truly felt at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
