130 Direct Ocean Front 1 bedroom condo with heated pool

The unit was as described and although there was maintenance being done at the property, we were not disturbed at all. We would definitely stay again!

Property was under MAJOR Construction !! We were told There would be some construction but it was not told , explained how major it was ! 80% of the place was empty , place was only 400 square feet too so way too small !!

This is our 2nd time staying here, and we will definitely be back. Great communication with the owner, super clean, and the location is perfect!. We love being right by the boardwalk and the best part is we can bring our dog. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a calm, relaxing, beach vacation.

The condo is accommodating for two adults. It is located on the first floor adjacent to the pool and beach entrance. Perfect location. We hope to visit again in a few months.

The unit is cozy and was perfect for the two of us! The ocean and heated pool are just steps away from the front door. We will definitely be back.

The condo was in the perfect location. Right on the beach with easy access to the beach. There was condo complex construction going on so the outside area was a bit disorganized but the condo itself was fine. Opened the blinds to look at the ocean one morning and to my surprise there were workers standing by our sliding door. There was construction noise that started about 8am but we are early risers so we were already awake. But be aware if you are late sleepers.

We had a great stay at this condo! Loved how close it was to the beach! The only little fix I would do is the tub in the bathroom slowly drains, but other than that wonderful time and no issues! Thank you!

We were very disappointed in this room. The pictures in the listing did not match what we experienced in the unit. I wish I could add pictures so you could see the disparaging difference. Entry door: There was some kind of black tape above the handle – made us question the reliability of the lock/security. Bedroom: Hair on mattress surface and between coverings. The window edge had exposed metal undergirding. The mini-Kitchen: The fridge was wobbly and the light only worked occasionally. The coffee maker put off a terrible ozone kind of smell when it was used. All lower cabinetries had chipped surfaces. The Bathroom: Lighting was a very cheap fixture with only 2 of the light bulbs working. The grab bar in the shower has massive paint chips all over it. The cabinet under the sink was disgusting – the shelving had collapsed and there was a substantial hole in the left wall that lead to??? The Main Room: The listing showed beautiful pictures of the furniture, floor coverings, TV, and overall essentials of the room. What we actual encountered was outdated furniture and fixtures. The only similarity between the listing and real life was the mirror at the end of the couch. Why did we not just leave? My husband has health issues and he would not have been able take driving back the same day. We felt taken advantage of and were stuck with the situation. We did what we could to make the best of it – bought our own plastic mattress cover and sheets for the bed (we left the plastic mattress covering since the one there was literally in pieces, for future use – no telling what was actually on the mattress surface). We used our own pillows, covering for the couch, etc.) We have used VRBO services in the past and were very pleased – so much so we have recommended VRBO to multiple family and friends. However this stay was well below expectations and the listing did NOT match reality. We will have to seriously consider using this service again. The listing was a disappointment and had been seriously misrepresented. Wish we could give a negative star for "Accuracy of online listing."

Property is as described and good for a single person or couple. 1st floor, next to the pool and boardwalk. Easy access to the beach and great view. Big tv's in both the livingroom and bedroom. Comfy couch in the livingroom. Things to note, wear shoes in the condo. Within minutes of getting out of the shower the bottom of my feet were black. However, everything else was clean. Also, recommend bringing your own bed sheets. The sheets on the bed are incredibly rough and uncomfortable.

Condo was very clean with an amazing ocean view. Short drive to downtown St Augustine and a lot of excellent restaurants close by. Highly recommend, we will be staying there again.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was excellent! Clean, convenient and overall a great place to stay! The shower pressure was excellent and the bed was very comfortable! The only drawback in our opinion was the back patio is right next to the boardwalk where people wash off from beach so there is limited privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Location is great. We only had problem with the tub, very slow flow, we had to clean all the hair from previous guest and then work fine. I pay for cleaning so I expect to be clean. Other than that everything else was ok.

First, the unit was exceptionally clean! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The unit was very close to the beach. It was an easy walk from the unit to the beach with a baby. We would return to the unit again.

Tiny place in an older property. It was very clean. The bed is very comfortable with great pillows. Great towels. It is near pool and beach walkway so not particularly quiet. I am a light sleeper so i used earplugs and it worked out fine. Beach is very nice and sunrises from living area were nice bonus.

The space was a bit tight for our preference but still adequate and clean. There were a few maintenance issues and we were pleased that the host was local and took care of them when notified. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or beach because the weather didn’t cooperate.

The room was perfect for the two of us. The bed was comfy and the tv was huge in the bedroom. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. The beach wasn’t crowded but had just enough people on it to have your own space. We plan on coming back.

Initial impression of condo unit was where is the rest of it? Turned out to be quite efficient and sufficient. Take a close look at square footage footprint if space matters. Definitely designed for only 2 people. Good value for the price point. Beach access, heated swimming pool, clean property and friendly staff added up to a good visit. For future visits I would not book a ground floor unit. Protected sand dunes block view of beach. To get the full benefit the property has to offer I would suggest the 2d, 3d or 4th floor units. We had a great time!

The unit is smaller than it appears in the photos but still a great place to stay for 2 people. The unit is right by the pool and beach access.

The complex was nice and on the beach. The kitchen had 2 forks only and cookware that the Goodwill wouldn't take! The furniture was not sturdy and the mattress was horrible. The owner was nice. The condo is small and I don't think 4 people would be comfortable. The pool and outside was delightful.

BeachersLodge is located directly on the beach. Great ocean views and amazing beach. Our unit was a good space for 2. Everything in our unit was minimalist, functional. We loved the location and exploring the rich history of the St Augustine area.

I was very pleased with the property. The check-in process was very easy and fast. Everything was exactly as described and pictured inside and outside the condo. The owner was very quick to help and answer any questions. I feel he went out of his way to assist us with any issue. I would definitely rent from him again!

Quaint and clean efficiency type condo right on the beach. Loved looking out and seeing the waves every day. Owner was very attentive and reached out daily.

Todd was a great host. Very easy going and quick to respond. There were some little things here or there with the property but with being at the beach and the constant guests it was easily overlooked. Nothing worth fussing over.

The location to the beach was perfect.

We had a great room located at the walkway to the beach and pool. Room was clean and just a short drive to St Augustine and many of the golf courses in the area.

Our experience here was somewhat spoiled by the holiday weekend. The property was packed and we did not go near the pool. We put the ac on fan all night to help offset conversations right outside our window. Took 30 minutes Sunday to get to historic St Augustine and more crowds. Oh well! But what a beautiful beach for swimming and people watching! We even enjoyed our storm view from couch! The place was very neat and clean and high-functioning, with a comfy bed. Good value!
