Dog-friendly riverfront house on 3 acres with private dock & deck - near skiing

site says "No Parking" which is obviously wrong. Straighten it out as it is confusing. Because i couldn't get any meaningful answer from the stupid chat box I almost didnt take the place.10am check out is B.S. And then VRBO offers a later checkout --for a fee. 11am is usual and this is just another way to ding customer.Place relatively clean but kitchen dishtowels and potholders grungry, stained.Any kitchen should have at least one non stick fry pan-this one doesn't. All the other p&ps were quality though.Not having dishwasher is pita, but we knew that going in. Not the biggest deal.On positive side: wife and daughterinlaw say its Cute. Proximity to Gore is a plus. Its quiet, despite being close to highway as rushing river drowns out noise. Interior is quiet too, ie room to room. The living area has great comfortable lounge chairs that can be turned to face each other for games or all one direction for movies. The river view is very nice. I can imagine its a great place in summer too. Fishing should be good if I can read water.

The house was very clean and well stocked.

Absolute blast. It's directly off the northway, completely private, and was perfect for our whole family. The kids had so much fun jumping off the dock that we never even left the property all week. We paddled around Schroon River and caught dozens of bluegill and little bass.Great Adirondack vacation!

Beautiful home in pretty setting by the river. We loved hearing the rushing water and fishing from the dock. While the setting is not too far from the road, the river drowns out traffic noise.Home was roomy and well stocked. We enjoyed local restaurants.

Brought my wife, children, as well as some close family friends for a relaxing ADK weekend getaway. The home was perfect for our needs! The home was well equipped and updated with modern amenities. While the home was clean, it did show some normal signs of wear and tear. This did not take away from any of the overall experience however. The property is gorgeous and truly riverfront on the beautiful Schroon River. Would absolutely recommend this property and stay here again!
