We have vacationed at Amelia Island on several occasions. This was our first stay and Sand Dollar Villas. The unit was just as advertised. It was cute and clean. The pool area was wonderful. The people were very friendly. I have been spoiled on previous trips with an oceanfront balcony. We just had a side view of the ocean from this balcony. It was still a super comfortable place to stay. We would recommend it to others traveling to Amelia Island.

The condo was clean and comfortable. It had all the necessities plus more like a keurig coffee maker and extra pods. The location was the best. A ten (or less) minute drive to downtown, and a few minute drive to other nearby restaurants. The beach was easy to access and was so nice.. lots of packed sand and shells and NO seaweed! The pool was large and refreshing. We had a great few days!

The condo decor was perfectly beachy. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony with an ocean view everyday. The pool area was delightful with areas of shade and sun. Having a walkway directly to the beach made access a breeze. The condo location is great for getting around Amelia Island. I would definitely book this condo again.

We had an amazing time staying at this property for our vacation! With 3 young kids it was so nice to just have a short walk across the boardwalk to get to the beach! The kids loved being able to go from the beach to the pool and back to the beach again with ease. The condo is older and could use a few updates (duct tape on the towel bar in the master bathroom and the pocket door to the bathroom did not latch), and was a bit smaller than we anticipated, but all in all it met our needs and you can't beat the location! It is worth noting, however, that parking is a bit tricky at this complex. The parking spaces are VERY tight to get into, and there are limited spots. There were spots blocked off during our stay due to maintenance/construction making it even harder to find a spot. If you have a larger vehicle just note you will have to do a bit of maneuverability to get in and out of spots. The location is perfect, the communication with the owner was excellent, check in / check out couldn't have been easier, and the rental rate was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to a couple or very small group. And Fernandina Beach is my absolute favorite vacation spot!

The condo was clean and decorated well. It had everything we needed with easy parking. It's nice having the boardwalk to the beach and then a shower and pool before you head back up to the condo. No issues with noise and everything was as advertised. This is our second time staying at this location. We live in the area and have had "staycations" there a couple of times and will stay there again in the future.

This was our first visit to Amelia Island and we had a fantastic time. In fact, we should have spent more days. The condo location was right on the beach which was great. We had biking access to the area and we did bike. Our entrance into the condo was tricky as the door combo wouldn't work well 7ntil we figured out the door is loose and we had to pull the door even tighter to lock and unlock. Owner needs to address this. We had correspondence with owner regarding the lack of floor cleanliness. After being in the unit only a short time, we had dirty feet. With a clean white towel, we cleaned a section which turned the towel brown. Sandy floors are common in beach properties but this was extreme. Condo has simple beachy decor and is stocked for a comfortable stay.

We spent 3 nights at the Sand Dollar and enjoyed everything about it. The unit had everything needed for our visit and was nice and clean upon our arrival. It is right on the beach, so we spent a lot of time there. And it was just a short drive to the charming town where there plenty of shops and restaraunts. We would not hesitate to stay here again on future trips to the area.

We stayed for a few days prior to heading a little further down island for a conference. The condo is in a nice location on the beach and close to downtown. It’s got all you need and was nice and clean. Could use a dresser or something in the spare to put your clothes, but definitely not a deal breaker. Check in was easy and we’d be more than happy to stay there again.

Over all very positive , I would certainly stay here again, which is likely since my disabled brother lives 3 miles away. Very nicely appointed decorated and furnished. Kitchen area was completely outfitted. Bedroom was nice with very comfortable beds. Shortcomings: Washing machine had a Lot of built up soap residue. Dryer lint filter was seriously plugged. Access door locking system needed some instruction on its use, as did the micro wave.

My son and I were in town for a business trip. The condo is in a really good location away from the tourist crowd. It was clean and and had been renovated recently so it was a great visit for us. Very relaxing to go back to after a day at work.

Ive stayed at Sand dollar before, but never had a room updated as well as this one.More opened area, new appliances, King size bed slept well along with an excellent view of sunrise while drinking coffee on deck.Kitchen had all needed for week long stay.Enjoyed !

So happy we found your condo after years of staying at hotels off the beach on AI. The location was perfect. Great ocean views from the main bedroom(watched sunrise from bed) and balcony. Condo was well stocked with everything! Just steps from parking to elevator and an easy walk to beach which was important for me! Thank you Matt & Jenny for everything and would love to stay here again.

We loved it! The hosts made it easy to check on and communicated frequently. The condo was perfect and exactly how they described it! We loved the charming downtown Amelia Island and ate at some wonderful restaurants! We will definitely come back!

This was our first visit to Amelia Island and we had a fantastic time. In fact, we should have spent more days. The condo location was right on the beach which was great. We had biking access to the area and we did bike. Our entrance into the condo was tricky as the door combo wouldn't work well 7ntil we figured out the door is loose and we had to pull the door even tighter to lock and unlock. Owner needs to address this. We had correspondence with owner regarding the lack of floor cleanliness. After being in the unit only a short time, we had dirty feet. With a clean white towel, we cleaned a section which turned the towel brown. Sandy floors are common in beach properties but this was extreme. Condo has simple beachy decor and is stocked for a comfortable stay.

We had an amazing time staying at this property for our vacation! With 3 young kids it was so nice to just have a short walk across the boardwalk to get to the beach! The kids loved being able to go from the beach to the pool and back to the beach again with ease. The condo is older and could use a few updates (duct tape on the towel bar in the master bathroom and the pocket door to the bathroom did not latch), and was a bit smaller than we anticipated, but all in all it met our needs and you can't beat the location! It is worth noting, however, that parking is a bit tricky at this complex. The parking spaces are VERY tight to get into, and there are limited spots. There were spots blocked off during our stay due to maintenance/construction making it even harder to find a spot. If you have a larger vehicle just note you will have to do a bit of maneuverability to get in and out of spots. The location is perfect, the communication with the owner was excellent, check in / check out couldn't have been easier, and the rental rate was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to a couple or very small group. And Fernandina Beach is my absolute favorite vacation spot!

The pictures actually look like the place! It was cute, clean and all we needed for a 4 day weekend. Well appointed all the way down to the black makeup wash cloths! Door code was easy and always worked. The complex was peaceful and quiet for the most part. We would book the same place again.

Over all very positive , I would certainly stay here again, which is likely since my disabled brother lives 3 miles away. Very nicely appointed decorated and furnished. Kitchen area was completely outfitted. Bedroom was nice with very comfortable beds. Shortcomings: Washing machine had a Lot of built up soap residue. Dryer lint filter was seriously plugged. Access door locking system needed some instruction on its use, as did the micro wave.

I recently rented this condo for a short stay while visiting Florida with my mom for a surprise, baby shower for my daughter. On our way there, I thought it would be nice to stop for a couple of days and let her dip her feet in the sand. I found this rental on Vrbo, and I’m so glad I did. From start to finish, everything was flawless. I think my mom now loves Amelia Island as much as I do❤️ The check-in process was seamless, and as soon as we entered the condo, we were blown away by how bright, clean, and inviting it was. The view of the ocean was absolutely perfect — exactly what we needed to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Florida. To top it off, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a thoughtful gesture to help us celebrate the exciting news of a new addition to our family. This place exceeded all expectations, and it’s clear that the owners take great care in making sure guests have a top-notch experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway. Looking forward to returning again and again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sand Dollar Villa. It made our stay at Amelia Island so special. Our host left us a bottle of wine . The property caretaker went above and beyond. We didn’t rent a car and relied on Uber for the most part. We were concerned we couldn’t get Uber but had no trouble. We even got one in and out of Fort Clinch. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Will definitely recommend!

The condo was clean and comfortable. It had all the necessities plus more like a keurig coffee maker and extra pods. The location was the best. A ten (or less) minute drive to downtown, and a few minute drive to other nearby restaurants. The beach was easy to access and was so nice.. lots of packed sand and shells and NO seaweed! The pool was large and refreshing. We had a great few days!

We spent 3 nights at the Sand Dollar and enjoyed everything about it. The unit had everything needed for our visit and was nice and clean upon our arrival. It is right on the beach, so we spent a lot of time there. And it was just a short drive to the charming town where there plenty of shops and restaraunts. We would not hesitate to stay here again on future trips to the area.

We stayed from Tuesday thru Sunday. Fabulous condo. Had everything we needed in there when we arrived. Very convenient to everything. Loved being right on beach. Cant wait to go back.

So happy we found your condo after years of staying at hotels off the beach on AI. The location was perfect. Great ocean views from the main bedroom(watched sunrise from bed) and balcony. Condo was well stocked with everything! Just steps from parking to elevator and an easy walk to beach which was important for me! Thank you Matt & Jenny for everything and would love to stay here again.

We stayed for a few days prior to heading a little further down island for a conference. The condo is in a nice location on the beach and close to downtown. It’s got all you need and was nice and clean. Could use a dresser or something in the spare to put your clothes, but definitely not a deal breaker. Check in was easy and we’d be more than happy to stay there again.

My son and I were in town for a business trip. The condo is in a really good location away from the tourist crowd. It was clean and and had been renovated recently so it was a great visit for us. Very relaxing to go back to after a day at work.

Great place. It was quiet and clean. It was nice to have the pool with chairs to layout when we got too hot at the beach. Also had plenty of covered parking the week we went which was nice since it rained a bit when we were there. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it was nice to have. Only thing missing that I saw was a corkscrew to open the lovely bottle of wine we received at check in. But we still found a way to open it! Plenty of full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You don’t need to bring your own. If you have a small group and want direct beach access, then this is a great place that doesn’t break the bank.
