Last minute booking - Check in & parking fine. Bed itself relatively comfy. Blinds broken meaning people can look into room, this needs sorting asap. The minimum you should expect is privacy.

Blinds don’t cover window so no privacy. TV vey small and old. very scruffy surroundings, old static in car park and scrap vehicles.

No hot water or electricity. Had to use mobile phone to see where I was going. Was not told the hotel was closed and far too late to find alternative accomodation.

The bathroom needed to be done up. It was clean but ageing. The lights above the bed didn’t work. Cigarette butts outside! And left over takeaways outside thrown into a corner. However it had good parking.

This motel appears to be under renovation, if not, the outside is a mess. 2 star Florida motel chalets come to mind. Room clean and comfortable. Advised on check in that there was no hot water... stayed 2 nights and this wasnt fixed. Couldnt switch to other hotel as this was pre paid and booked early at a great price. Really good cheaper accomodation for overnight stay for work. Good size room with bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, TV, WiFi, parking outside rooms.

I was greeted by nice friendly staff very polite. My room was big and the double bed was very comfortable shower was powerful and there was plenty of hot water the price was very good if in the area again I would definitely stay again. If I had one thing to moan about the outside and carpark were very untidy.

We arrived at 10pm to be told the hotel was closed due to a power outage. Nobody had bothered to contact us prior to travelling to the hotel. We were told to contact expedia for a refund. Basically we were left to our own devices with no where to stay late at night. Will never book here again, very unhelpful.

Fair accommodation for the price. Bed was comfy enough and had a good nights sleep. Just could do with a good clean outside car park etc rubbish all around. But for the price I would stay here for a business trip.

The room looked freshly decorated and was up to a good standard. The staff were pleasant. Outside could probably do with a facelift but was OK. The walls in the room were not really thick enough so could hear next doors residents. Overall a very good night there.

I’ve been to a load of hotels within Birmingham. This has to be the worst. I was think looks alright from the photos. Don’t know how further these pictures could be from the truth. First of all first impressions matter when you pull in to the car park you met with an idea you are going to get murdered. There’s vans everywhere. When you walk up to the hotel room there are cleaning stuff everywhere. Now this wasn’t even during the time of cleaning. Towels on the floor just generally dirty and to top it all off was the mold on the walls, damp everywhere. Small tv, hardly any milk or sugar for tea. Lights broken in the room. So went to take a shower, after getting out the shower. Couldn’t take a bath as the plug was broken. So got a towel out. The towel was vile, ripped and dirty. Looked like dirty stains on them. They was meant to be white had brown patches all over it. Got in to bed, the bed sinks you can feel all of the sprints. For a stay for 1 night it was £64 and I regret every penny of it and want my money back

Upon arriving, the hotel had issues with the system, it apparently went off line so I had to wait around. The hotel looked like a brothal owned by gangsters, plus many sports card scattered around as if they own a garage. The room was freezing, and I could feel the air pouring through the door frame. The decor in the room was outdated, and the room looked as if it wasnt cleaned for over a week. WOOD LICE - I noticed a wood lice crawling around from under the bed, I then moved the bed over and noticed a couple dead lice.

Very budget hotel a little smelly like stale smoke so not impressed

The worst place I ever stayed at dirty was an understatement I had to leave the hotel as I was physically sick urine everywhere bed sheets got blood on. Poo in the toilet never ever again

I travel extensively around the uk,and that hovel is by far the worst place I’ve ever used,the reviews are obviously made up,it was so bad I have reported it to trading standards,mould on ceilings in bedroom and bathroom ,I checked out after one night even though I’d paid for 4 nights,do not use this dump it’s a disgrace.

I booked this hotel quite last minute - a few days before as my usual hotel wasn’t available. There lies in my first mistake! When I arrived there were 3 men in the reception, the two in front of the counter didn’t move or make any space for me, glaring with no smile. Quite intimidating for a solo female. Maybe they were super friendly inside but certainly wasn’t great for first impressions. Next was the full page disclaimer. Not sure I’ve ever had to sign a disclaimer for drugs but maybe that’s just me. I do however understand that they prob need to include that given the state of the hotel and the clientele that may frequent there. It’s a motel style which I had no idea before booking. Outside are an extra caravan and abandoned vehicles everywhere. Inside looked fairly clean and by photos you’d think it was. Don’t look at reviews from others as you’ll then start looking at the room properly. The toilet had hair on it, the bin hadn’t been emptied so then you wonder- has this room actually been cleaned? The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and I imagine the small electric radiator means this room is pretty cold on arrival in the winter? Overall, there were shouts during the night, I slept terribly and had to shower with blinkers on trying hard to ignore my surroundings. Yes I could have complained and moved but I arrived at 10pm. Needless to say no I don’t recommend this and especially if you are a lone female. I will never stay here again.

Reputation of being a knocking shop is well earned. Toilet badly stained below the water line. Half assembled flat pack furniture, no clothes hangers, no tv remote. Distinct smell of damp & mould on entry. At least bedding was clean. Hot & Cold bathroom tap plumbed back to front. Cheapness not a good excuse.

It was a pleasant enough carpeted room and facilities were ok. Bath could have been cleaner (hairs in plug hole) but for one night was ok.

Hotel looks like pontins chalets. Inside very basic. Was clean but could have been better (didnt feel could get in the shower as shower screen looked a little mucky). Sheets were vlean but had burn holes in.

The door doesn't shut properly. There are no curtains only vertical blinds that don't shut out the light (street lights glaring in) TV remote didn't work. Very small TV. Heating didn't work. Felt dirty. Felt unsafe. Staff were rude ignorant. Barking dogs. If it had been £40 would have put up with it. Can get far better for £80. Stay clear unless desperate.

The rooms are very spacious, the girl on front desk was lovely, polite and helpful. It was a very pleasant experience and one I’d recommend to anyone.

Stayed here with a friend. The room was small but all you needed, it did look like something out of a horror movie similar to an american motel! The shower hardly worked, mattress was extremely uncomfortable woke up in agony after the first night so we left and returned home.

The room door would not open all the way and the bathroom door would not close. They need a grab bar at the end of the tub to reduce the risk of injury when getting out of the shower (tub had high sides and the bottom was a few inches higher than the floor). Curtains would have been a nice addition given that the blinds did not provide full privacy from the people who i could see walking past my window. A bin in the bathroom would have been nice as would some kind of doormat so i didnt track in muck from outside. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good.

The welcome by the staff on Sunday was brilliant. Very relaxed. Dealt with my ground floor room requirement without a fuss. I'll be staying again when working in the area. Thanks guys. Keep up the good work.

I booked from Nigeria and was charged $72/night and later booked from England only to be charged $32/night for the same room. My reservation was cancelled after I got to the hotel to check in because the power supply to the hotel was cut. I had to make alternative arrangements late at night to book another hotel in town. It was a horrible experience for me to say the least

For the price of the hotel room it was far better than i thought it would be have been in other hotels who charge twice the amount and dont match this hotel.staff are great any problems they are right on it straight away to make sure all is ok
