This historic home was absolutely beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the front porch. Quiet, peaceful street. Comfortable bed, small but efficient bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was perfect! We loved having private off-street parking. It was a quick walk to downtown on beautiful historic streets. We felt safe walking. The property owner was quick to message back and answer any questions we had. We loved our trip to St. Augustine and when we come back we will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend on our first visit to St. Augustine, despite living in Florida for over 31 years. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and was PERFECTION ! The private entry way & front porch was so nice for our morning coffee. The free parking was a bonus. We didn't want to be at a busy, populated hotel and much prefer the quiet, comfortable "feel of home."The place was impeccably clean and no smell of mold. They thought of everything with regards to amenities.The accommodations made our stay so much nicer. Kudos to the owners.

The place has a lot charm, and the location is great. The parking is definitely tight if you have larger vehicle as disclosed in the listing. Our room was a very small space, especially the bathroom which is tight with a small shower. If you just want a nice place to lay your head and then head out on the town, this is a good place to stay!

Communications re: parking, keys, expectations, etc from Lizy were clear and accurate. We arrived to find clean accommodations, a comfortable bed and cold refrigerator. The house is old, cute and SOLID. There were other VRBOers in the house. We didn’t hear them at all. The kitchen is well equipped for reheating and coffee making with ample counter space. Our favorite feature is definitely the front porch with its ceiling fan and cushioned wicker chairs. It was a perfect spot for coffee in the morning and beer at sunset. LOCATION? GREAT!!!! After a Town Trolley ride to get some history and a lay of the land, we walked everywhere for 3 days. The house is so close to downtown and yet such a quiet neighborhood. We had a super time in St Augustine and enjoyed our stay at Lizy and Ron’s place.

Rental was small but perfect for 2 adults. Owner very friend and provide great communication. Parking behind property very tight but on street parking was an option in front of property. Had a great long weekend here.

This was perfect lodging for our "escape from reality". Loved the porch and swing available for the "Charming" rental unit. The rental is very close to seveal restaurants and the distillery. Old Town Trolley has a convenient pick-up location at the distillery.However, the walk to downtown is not far. St. Augustine is a fantastic place for a quick get-a-way!

The accommodations were very nice, clean and comfortable. It had everything needed and was in walking distance to the distillery, shops, and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here.

The location is good & it’s only a short walk to everything. But the pictures & description mislead you. The whole thing is like a hotel room with a bathroom. The washer dryer in the pictures is actually outside in an alcove & not in the room, you would have to leave it out there & anybody could mess with it or take it. It’s a lovely old building but the apartment was drab & dreary with old furnishings & not even a proper wardrobe, it was some old tv cabinet that had a rail in & was not even enough space for a shirt to hang without it touching the bottom. Everything was badly finished & not that nice. It was very clean & the parking out back was convent for a midsize car as they stated. It’s such a shame as the location & the old house could be stunning. At no point did the owners check to see if everything was ok & I’ve waited a week to see if I would hear from them to pass this but nothing so I’ve gone ahead & left this review

The apartment was very clean & cozy! We loved sitting out on the porch having our morning coffee. The owner stopped by most mornings while we were on the porch and was very friendly. The neighborhood is very friendly and the location was perfect for walking to everything we wanted to see & do.

Our charming apartment had everything we needed for a few days spent in St. Augustine. It was great to have somewhere to park that was in walking distance to all the main sights. The room was spotless, bed was comfy, and Lizy was quick to respond if we needed anything!

This is an adorable place, perfect for us in its location within walking distance of restaurants, breakfast joints and the historic district of St Augustine. It was an easy and pleasurable walk to museums, shops, Flagler College (take the tour) and many historic sites and monuments. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. This is perfect for a couple, has a full bath, kitchenette, very comfortable queen bed and more than adequate window AC. The neighborhood is enchanting with classic old houses and streets lined with the Spanish moss-draped live oaks. We communicated with the host mostly by texts and she was friendly and flexible, in our case, to allow earlier access to the aptmt. We would stay here again if we return to St Augustine.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the "charming" apartment and it was super cute! There was a smaller kitchenette that included a burner, pots, pans, coffee maker, coffee, microwave, fridge. It was very close walking to the Distillery, Fish Camp, Ice Bar and winery. A few blocks away is a very cute breakfast place that we ate at twice. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect little get away. Walk to pretty much everywhere. You have to check out the little reggae cafe up the street. Food and coffee were amazing. The ac unit can be a little noisy at times, but bed was very comfortable . Host was very responsive ,and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. She was very kind. Everything was beautiful.

“Charming” was so cute and quaint. Perfect for what we needed. We were here to visit St. Augustine so all we needed was a place to relax a little, shower and sleep. Coffee on the porch in the morning was so enjoyable, too. For us, this location was perfect. So close to everything, yet not in the middle of “all the mayhem”. So, you can spend your day visiting all the beautiful sites and then retreat to a quiet, relaxed neighborhood to unwind. Literally, minutes to ALL the site… you could walk, if so inspired! Communication with host was excellent, as well. You can tell Lizy is highly motivated to ensure guests satisfaction. Highly recommended.

Lizzy was phenomenal! Greeted us & solved our parking issue. Responded to every email within a minute! Very personable & the room was just what we needed. Highly recommend & will be returning to the property in our next trip to St Augustine.

Our stay was short due to Hurricane Milton. Lizy was in constant communication with us prior to check in date. It looked like we were in the clear for part of our visit but as soon as we checked in, an evacuation order was placed for St. Augustine. Lizy reached out again to let us know and we made plans to leave. She stopped by to say hello and encouraged us to enjoy some time on the front porch swing before hitting the road again. We will definitely stay here next time we stop in St. Augustine. We were able to enjoy a local restaurant that was in walking distance of the home. The home was clean and had everything we would have needed for our stay.

Perfect little get away. Walk to pretty much everywhere. You have to check out the little reggae cafe up the street. Food and coffee were amazing. The ac unit can be a little noisy at times, but bed was very comfortable . Host was very responsive ,and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. She was very kind. Everything was beautiful.

Communications re: parking, keys, expectations, etc from Lizy were clear and accurate. We arrived to find clean accommodations, a comfortable bed and cold refrigerator. The house is old, cute and SOLID. There were other VRBOers in the house. We didn’t hear them at all. The kitchen is well equipped for reheating and coffee making with ample counter space. Our favorite feature is definitely the front porch with its ceiling fan and cushioned wicker chairs. It was a perfect spot for coffee in the morning and beer at sunset. LOCATION? GREAT!!!! After a Town Trolley ride to get some history and a lay of the land, we walked everywhere for 3 days. The house is so close to downtown and yet such a quiet neighborhood. We had a super time in St Augustine and enjoyed our stay at Lizy and Ron’s place.

Our charming apartment had everything we needed for a few days spent in St. Augustine. It was great to have somewhere to park that was in walking distance to all the main sights. The room was spotless, bed was comfy, and Lizy was quick to respond if we needed anything!

My husband and I are both a premier host for 5 years and we do not recommend this property. When my husband and I arrived, we did not stay longer than we could rebook to a Hilton downtown. Very small, there are no dressers for our clothes, no kitchen, no closets and as you can see in the photo, one chair! As we were on the phone, rebooking, the loud window air conditioner was going on and off every 5 min. Was there a refrigerator, I don't ever remember seeing one. We contacted the host but didn't hear back from her till we had already checked in at the Hilton. The surrounding area is questionable. Now after saying all of this, I don't know who to be more upset with, the host or reviewers because the bottom line is to read the reviews for a honest assessment. We were not compensated in any way. One more thing, don't forget to take your shoes off before entering, there is no mention of that in here questionable description.

This is an adorable place, perfect for us in its location within walking distance of restaurants, breakfast joints and the historic district of St Augustine. It was an easy and pleasurable walk to museums, shops, Flagler College (take the tour) and many historic sites and monuments. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. This is perfect for a couple, has a full bath, kitchenette, very comfortable queen bed and more than adequate window AC. The neighborhood is enchanting with classic old houses and streets lined with the Spanish moss-draped live oaks. We communicated with the host mostly by texts and she was friendly and flexible, in our case, to allow earlier access to the aptmt. We would stay here again if we return to St Augustine.

We stayed several days just to enjoy everything St Augustine has to offer. Great quiet location. Wonderful location for the historical Lincolnville district. Only 15 minute walk to the center and thought the location walkable.

The location is good & it’s only a short walk to everything. But the pictures & description mislead you. The whole thing is like a hotel room with a bathroom. The washer dryer in the pictures is actually outside in an alcove & not in the room, you would have to leave it out there & anybody could mess with it or take it. It’s a lovely old building but the apartment was drab & dreary with old furnishings & not even a proper wardrobe, it was some old tv cabinet that had a rail in & was not even enough space for a shirt to hang without it touching the bottom. Everything was badly finished & not that nice. It was very clean & the parking out back was convent for a midsize car as they stated. It’s such a shame as the location & the old house could be stunning. At no point did the owners check to see if everything was ok & I’ve waited a week to see if I would hear from them to pass this but nothing so I’ve gone ahead & left this review

My stay at this historic property was delightful. The location was within an easy walk to downtown St. Augustine, the room was very clean, on a quiet street and provided everything I needed to enjoy my visit. I had the opportunity to meet Lizy, the host, on multiple occasions and she is awesome. My favorite thing was sitting on the front porch in the mornings and evenings and watching the friendly neighbors walk by, many with their dogs.
