Whole house for Relaxing Couple or Family Retreat

Barb was super welcoming and the house was very nice. We really enjoyed getting to meet the goats!

We had a lovely stay - very clean, spacious, and comfortable beds! Communication with owner was good and easy with relevant info directly in a message rather than having to open an external site with accommodation info in numerous tabs like some other places I've stayed. The road noise outside was sometimes loud - especially in the front bedroom - as the house is directly on a rather busy roadway.

We enjoyed our six-night stay very much. The house is beautifully renovated while still retaining its charm. It was fun cooking, eating, and playing Uno in the farmhouse kitchen, and the back yard was nice for our nephew to kick a soccer ball around. The scenery is lovely, with large hills in front and behind, and the location, about halfway between Watkins Glen and Corning, worked out well for us. Barb and BJ were very accommodating, and we had a nice time visiting with them and their herd of goats.

Het was een prima compleet huis, maar wel aan een drukke straat. De achterkant was dan wel weer rustig en het had een heerlijk grote tuin. De sterrenhemel met vallende sterren was fantastisch. De spullen in huis waren wel wat verouderd, maar de bedden waren prima Alleen het bed beneden was aan vervanging toe en kraakte enorm.
