Owner is very nice. Good place to stay. Affordable. She asked me for honest feedback so here goes. Overall a nice place. Had all of the major points we were looking for, so a positive experience. Pool table played straight, sticks provided were pretty good and straight. Hot tub worked nicely. Some improvements could be made though, and not nitpicking just honest feedback. Towels, bring extra, minimal provided, had to buy extra for hot tub use and not have to wash every day. Pots and pans were old and should be replaced, coating scratched off. Bring ice, one freezer had cheap and broken trays. Some kitchen utensils were cheap and not easy to use like the big spoons. Could use more plates , we did dishes at least every day and only had one dish pod per day, had to buy more as well as paper towels. Appliances were older but worked. Could use larger beds throughout, although they would take up more space in the bedrooms I think ppl would be ok with that. Only sheer curtains, needs blinds!, we had to hang towels (bought) to block the sun, wasn’t a fan of waking up with the sun. Main windows could use tint, sun really heats up main living space. Gas grill worked pretty well, best on right side. Decor was old and some odd for a cabin in the woods. Some other little odd things here and there, nothing major. Could use some small smart TV’s in the bedrooms as well. Overall a nice place, just could use some updates. You will drive 10-15 miles if you need anything FYI.
