The hotel is very central and you have many restaurants nearby and public transportation is easy accesible from there. However, the elevator was not working for the whole 3 days that we were there and we had many luggages and our room was in the third floor so you can imagine the struggle. Furthermore, on the last night the turned the ventilator on for some hours which caused our room to become dry and hot. The ventilator was also very loud. On the other hand, the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

It's a typical 2-star hotel useful as a crashpad for tourists. Good location, close to metro and many restaurants. No AC (typical for Europe) but windows didn't open very large and on a busy street so very noisy in the evenings. The staff happily gave me a fan when I asked for one, which helped. Bathroom is TINY; be prepared to get everything wet when showering. Fresh towels provided when requested, as per normal for Europe. No elevator! Be prepared to haul your bags up stairs. Decent place, served my needs.

Goed voor 1 nacht. Kamer op zich was schoon, wel schimmel in de badkamer (plafond!). Bed lag ook prima. Er is geen lift en ze vragen €50 borg (cash of creditcard). Neem oordoppen mee, want het ligt aan een drukke straat.

Consiglio a Expedia di cancellare questo hotel dalla sua lista. Pulizia non adeguata, lenzuola macchiate, riscaldamento centrale non funzionante, stufetta rotta, finestra rotta, ascensore rotto. Personale che non ha risolto i problemi.

Well first of all i was in shock that there was no breakfast included my reservation and they say we have to go outside to have breakfast at other restaurants... then they ask 50,- euro this cant be payed by card only visa so we have to pay contant. There is no kitchen so there is np possibility to order something, then we have to take the stairs to the second flour because the elevator doesnt work, then we put the tv on, it also doesnt work... they only thing thats ok isthe shower and the bed. TIP: book here when ure traveling through.

Location is good, but you are in the centre, so during the evening/nights, it is noisy. Also no airconditioning, which we did not expect. What was really our biggest issue were the dirty walls and dust everywhere. Dust from months behind the tv, windowsills and in window frame :(

Wir hatten zwei seperate Zimmer. Die Zimmerböden waren wahnsinnig staubig. Meine Kollegin lies dem Zimmerservice eine Notiz da das doch bitte die Böden gereinigt werden. Leider hatte das nichts gebracht. Jedoch wurde bei ihr neue Handtücher hingelegt und das Bett gemach. Bei mir wurde lediglich der Mülleimer im Bad geleert. Weder neue Handtücher noch wurde das Bett gemacht. Für 2 Nächte war es aber im grossen und ganzen voll ok. Etwas laut da es sich direkt in der Partymeile befindet aber auch das ist aushaltbar.

Useless people behind the desk that is incompetent. The room was mouldy and not been cleaned for weeks, the batheoom was moulfy and disgusting, the roof in the bathroom was black and had a hole in it, the sleeping matress was stained with piss and it looked like someone puked on the bed frame. The bedsheets were not clean and had some stains in them aswell, got "new" and was the same and had hair on them aswell. Looked like it was starting to grow a bedbug farm in the room aswell, very big health hazard and should have -5 rated and should be shut down and destroy the building.

This is my first time ever having to leave a hotel after spending just a couple of minutes in the room. The sheets had yellow spots, black spots, oil spots and long black hair. The wall was also covered in some large white stains. Did not really have time to experience the rest, but the room felt like a sauna and a scooter passed by and it sounded as if I was standing in the street.

Bed bugs everywhere, bitten to shreds. The street is too busy until 2am every night to sleep and the windows in our room wouldn’t close. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. Disgusting, unclean and a health hazard.

The room was not clean at all the ground was dirty like no one has vacuumed the ground. The hotel itself also not clean the reception was also dirty. The room was freezing cold! I asked the staff why it’s like this they answered we has a central heating system to all room and you couldn’t control the room temperature! Very very bad

Struttura fatiscente. Camera sporca. Mancava una tenda oscurante avevamo giorno dalla mattina presto. Fori nei muri di mensole staccate mai rimontate. Phon guasto TV non funzionante. Tutto fatto presente e nessuno intervento per ripristinare le cose non funzionanti o mancanti. È una truffa. Rumore fino a tarda notte dai locali sotto in strada e mancanza di aria condizionata

Het hotel staat in een drukke buurt, maar daar kiest men voor. De warmteventilator in de hotelkamer is nogal lawaaierig en kan alleen centraal (voor het hele hotel) geschakeld worden. Ook jammer dat de ramen niet open kunnen. Voor de rest was het verblijf oké.

The location of this hotel is great, but apart from that it wasn’t good. When we arrived it was 34 degrees and when we got into our room there was a machine with air con buttons but it was blowing hot air into the room (unbearable) we went to reception to ask and they informed us there was no air con and no way we could change rooms, we asked for a spare fan and tried to stay through the night as we didn’t have an option. The hotel was a bit dodgy and when walking to our room we spotted somebodies drugs which had dropped out of the bag on the floor. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up leaving after 1 and getting somewhere else. We tried to contact Expedia about this (they were great) but the hotel refused to give us a refund for the one night and wouldn’t cooperate with us or Expedia. It’s a shame as the location is great and some of the receptionists are great but it wasn’t great at all

Cant really fault the H3 Rotterdam considering the reasonably low cost and great central location. We booked a twin room for 2 nights. The room is small but the beds are comfortable, shower is awesome and staff are friendly. It was all about location for us with loads of great bars just meters away and Rotterdam central station a brisk 7-10 min walk.

In het weekend staan tot zeker drie uur 's nachts voor de deur van het hotel taxi's en andere auto's mensen in- en uit te laden. Zeer lawaaiig als je een kamer aan de kant van de Witte de Withstraat hebt.

The experience overall was extremely poor. The lift was broken and the room was on the thrid floor. When I got to the room the shower was not connected, the bin was broken and the bedside light did not work. I will not be staying again

Staff very friendly and helpful although I would recommend to avoid rooms facing the front of the property on or around the weekend when the streets below turn into one giant night club and outdoor dining scene. overly noisy.

I don't often post bad reviews but the attitude of the person in the front desk was awful and has prompted me to write this. Firstly upon check in I was told I had to pay a €50 deposit, I have no issue with this. I asked where the nearest cash machine was, he showed me an address in a folder for a cafe. He couldn't tell me if it was left or right up the road. He told me this was a free cash machine, it wasn't. It was €3.95 per withdrawal. I eventually found a free cash machine near by. I told the person this when I returned to the hotel and he didn't seem interested and didn't apologize for giving bad information. He took my deposit and gave me my room key. Didn't point me in the direction of where to go. I was on the 3rd floor with no lifts, not a problem for me but others may struggle. The room was poor, the plug only worked when the lights were on, the vent was loud but very inefficient. The shower door didn't cover the full door frame area so the bathroom was drenched after a shower. Light bulbs were missing in the ceiling and the bed wasn't very comfy. I will not be returning here, regardless of what price the room is.

Firstly upon check in I was told I had to pay a €50 deposit, I have no issue with this. I asked where the nearest cash machine was, he showed me an address in a folder for a cafe. He couldn't tell me if it was left or right up the road. He told me this was a free cash machine, it wasn't. It was €3.95 per withdrawal. I eventually found a free cash machine near by. I told the person this when I returned to the hotel and he didn't seem interested and didn't apologize for giving bad information. He took my deposit and gave me my room key. Didn't point me in the direction of where to go. I was on the 3rd floor with no lifts, not a problem for me but others may struggle. The room was poor, the plug only worked when the lights were on, the vent was loud but very inefficient. The shower door didn't cover the full door frame area so the bathroom was drenched after a shower. Light bulbs were missing in the ceiling and the bed wasn't very comfy. I will not be returning here, regardless of what price the room is.

The location of this hotel is great, but apart from that it wasn’t good. When we arrived it was 34 degrees and when we got into our room there was a machine with air con buttons but it was blowing hot air into the room (unbearable) we went to reception to ask and they informed us there was no air con and no way we could change rooms, we asked for a spare fan and tried to stay through the night as we didn’t have an option. The hotel was a bit dodgy and when walking to our room we spotted somebodies drugs which had dropped out of the bag on the floor. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up leaving after 1 and getting somewhere else. We tried to contact Expedia about this (they were great) but the hotel refused to give us a refund for the one night and wouldn’t cooperate with us or Expedia. It’s a shame as the location is great and some of the receptionists are great but it wasn’t great at all

War vor Ort und das Personal übergab mir keine Schlüssel, obwohl ich vorab bereits mit Kreditkarte bezahlt hatte. Ich habe eine Beschwerde bei Expedia einlegt, da das Hotel weder vor Ort noch auf Nachfrage online bereit war meine Zahlung zu erstatten. Das heißt trotz Zahlung habe ich keine Schlüssel erhalten. Einige Meter weiter habe ich ein schönes Hotel ersatzweise gefunden. Zum Inneren des Hotels kann ich damit leider nichts sagen. Schade.

For me this was for me what I wanted. Close to where I needed to be and a good price. Small, but a clean room. Some noice in the night but no problem for me. And everyone knows that you get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly.

Good for bars with a central location. Certainly not the most exclusive hotel but some other reviews are probably a little unfair. My room was clean, the bathroom was nice. It’s clear that the property requires investment.

The hotel is very central and you have many restaurants nearby and public transportation is easy accesible from there. However, the elevator was not working for the whole 3 days that we were there and we had many luggages and our room was in the third floor so you can imagine the struggle. Furthermore, on the last night the turned the ventilator on for some hours which caused our room to become dry and hot. The ventilator was also very loud. On the other hand, the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very central and you have many restaurants nearby and public transportation is easy accesible from there. Cant really fault the H3 Rotterdam considering the reasonably low cost and great central location. We booked a twin room for 2 nights. The room is small but the beds are comfortable, shower is awesome and staff are friendly. It was all about location for us with loads of great bars just meters away and Rotterdam central station a brisk 7-10 min walk.

Prijs kwaliteit is prima. Netheid en hygiëne kan wat beter. Leuk ingedeeld qua kleuren en meubels alleen afwerking kan wat beter ( gordijn hangt los, vieze kitranden, vlekken op de muur). Ligging is perfect, op loopafstand van winkels, restaurant, etc. Parkeergarage dichtbij. Wel heel gehorig, buiten lijkt net binnen.

In het weekend staan tot zeker drie uur 's nachts voor de deur van het hotel taxi's en andere auto's mensen in- en uit te laden. Zeer lawaaiig als je een kamer aan de kant van de Witte de Withstraat hebt.

De mensen achter de receptie zijn uiterst vriendelijk. Het hotel is gedateerd en is aan vernieuwing toe. Het bed sliep heerlijk. De douche had een goede straal. Wij hebben er alleen geslapen. Er is geen ontbijt beschikbaar. Maar in de buurt kun je heerlijk ontbijten. Het is midden in het uitgaansgebied. Verder geen faciliteiten in het hotel. Als je alleen hoeft te slapen is dit een pri.a hotel.

Well first of all i was in shock that there was no breakfast included my reservation and they say we have to go outside to have breakfast at other restaurants... then they ask 50,- euro this cant be payed by card only visa so we have to pay contant. There is no kitchen so there is np possibility to order something, then we have to take the stairs to the second flour because the elevator doesnt work, then we put the tv on, it also doesnt work... they only thing thats ok isthe shower and the bed. TIP: book here when ure traveling through.

Very disappointing stay – would not recommend Unfortunately, my stay at H3 Hotel Rotterdam City was very disappointing. The cleanliness of the hotel was a major issue from the moment I arrived. The room floor was dirty, the corridors had stained carpets and an unpleasant smell, and the chair in my room was dirty and covered in dust. The room also had no fridge, which was inconvenient, and the TV did not work. There was also no proper cupboard/storage space in the room, which made it difficult to keep clothes and belongings organised. The lift was extremely slow — probably the slowest hotel lift I have ever experienced, which became frustrating when trying to get to and from the room. Overall, the hotel felt poorly maintained and in need of much better cleaning and upkeep. I honestly wish I had read the reviews more carefully before booking, as I would have thought twice about staying here. The only real positive is the location. The hotel is right in the centre of Rotterdam, which makes it convenient for getting around and visiting the city. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.

I had economy internal room without windows or air con. It became airless, warm and sticky by middle of night. Needed shower when I got up which was very efficient. TV worked well.
