We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Crystal Carriage House. Everything was perfect about the home and it was a terrific location for our day trips to Mount Rainier. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and met our needs for cooking our meals while there. We highly recommend this home and the hosts.

Perfect, secluded location within great proximity to Sunrise Point at Mount Rainier and Crystal Mountain. Had the amenities we needed despite the issues with WiFi that Ruth was working so hard to get resolved with the carrier. The washer/dryer was a huge plus.

Everything is clean and cozy. The hosts respond very quickly, and are so friendly and hospitable! The beds (1 queen and a daybed that turns into 2 twins) are very comfy, the wifi is good, no tub but the shower is really nice and big with good hot water and pressure, and a nice hand shower currently. The key safe is a little fiddly, but everything is explained very well in the documents they send you and notes posted near the important things. Do be aware that the Greenwater General store and the gas station aren't open as of the day of this review, so fuel up in Enumclaw. I absolutely recommend this place. Thank you Ruth and Ron for having such a wonderful place to be!

My husband and I have stayed at the carriage house five or six times over the years. It is a very comfortable suite with nice furnishing, a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. We come to hike the mountain trails and its so nice to come back and relax in the privacy provided at the carriage house. It is surrounded by huge pine trees and set back from the country road. Skiers will love leaving all their equipment in the entry and not taking it up to the suite. There is also a security alarm.

We loved eating on the deck and watching the elk graze nearby. The cabin was perfect for two people, with a well-appointed kitchen. The location was very convenient, close to several trailheads. It was quiet and beautiful!

We loved this property. We loved having breakfast and coffee on the front porch. The area is pristine and quiet. The apt is so cute with its private entrance and security system. Ruth is very detailed and communicates well with you. We would love to stay here again.

The property sits on a private forested acreage and is very quiet and private. Elk graze along the road and on the property grounds. The apartment is very clean and well-stocked. It was the perfect place to rest after our daily hikes on Mt. Rainier. Wonderful! wonderful!

We were in town for a wedding but wanted to explore in our off time. This was the perfect place! Amazing scenery, nice hikes nearby, and the elk came and visited! The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The owners were so accommodating with our family after both a reservation error and forgetting to bring the alarm code. The place was clean and cozy and we really appreciated the coffee after forgetting ours at home. I would highly recommend.

Loved our stay here. Had a question before arrival and owner responded immediately to answer our question. Had no issues. Loved the location in the woods, we could hear the elk near by. Was very clean and was even nicer than the pictures show. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony for dinner hoping to catch an elk walking by as others next door said they saw the multiple times. We would 100% stay here again.

Very clean and well appointed studio over the owners garage. Very comfortable. Very convenient for visiting the Sunrise entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. The check in was very quirky with extra rule sheets that had to be reviewed and acknowledge outside of the VRBO app. This proved difficult because this is a remote area with very limited cell reception. In addition the security measure were a bit over the top, a key lock box and 2 different codes needed to get into the house. The biggest issue was that the WiFi was not working. The owner brushed it off as only effecting the TV. We didn’t care about the TV but needed internet access to plan our hikes, research restaurants, and plan next phases of our travel. None of this was possible without internet or adequate cell service. A very nice place but check-in, getting into the property, and internet would need to be addressed before I would rent again.

The Crystal Carriage House was the perfect fit for our stay in Greenwater. It is a studio apartment above the owner’s detached garage and was just the right size for the two of us. The location is convenient to the White River entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. The owners are friendly and helpful and communication was prompt. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed. The host was easy to contact and very anxious to please. Communication was outstanding. I can't think of anything that I would change.

Very clean and well appointed studio over the owners garage. Very comfortable. Very convenient for visiting the Sunrise entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. The check in was very quirky with extra rule sheets that had to be reviewed and acknowledge outside of the VRBO app. This proved difficult because this is a remote area with very limited cell reception. In addition the security measure were a bit over the top, a key lock box and 2 different codes needed to get into the house. The biggest issue was that the WiFi was not working. The owner brushed it off as only effecting the TV. We didn’t care about the TV but needed internet access to plan our hikes, research restaurants, and plan next phases of our travel. None of this was possible without internet or adequate cell service. A very nice place but check-in, getting into the property, and internet would need to be addressed before I would rent again.

Perfect, secluded location within great proximity to Sunrise Point at Mount Rainier and Crystal Mountain. Had the amenities we needed despite the issues with WiFi that Ruth was working so hard to get resolved with the carrier. The washer/dryer was a huge plus.

Beautiful cozy apartment perfect for my wife and i to visit Ranier. Gorgeous surroundings in the forest, wildlife wandering through area, and you can see all the stars in the sky at night. Great location for hiking in and around ranier and surrounding area. We were sad when time came to leave. We are already on planning future trips to ranier and will definitely look to rebook this great location.

Spent our weekend exploring the National Park and this was the perfect spot to rest and relax once our day was complete. 15 minutes drive to the entrance of the Park and 15 minutes to Emuclaw. Even had a few deers visiting the yard in the early morning.

Beautiful property, clean, comfortable, very nice cabin in the middle of the woods. My sister, two teen daughters, and I had such a great time staying 2 nights:-) I loved how clear all the instructions the host gave were. Comfortable beds, stayed very warm with the propane stove. Convenient location for us to attend a concert at the Chalet in Enumclaw. Highly recommend!

We had a terrific stay, enjoyed the space, it had more than we needed which is always a happy outcome. I can see why it is advertised as best for a couple but we were comfortable with our 2 young adult kids plus ourselves. Everyone had their own bed, thanks to the trundle bed.

The cabin is nice, comfortable, and has everything you need. I think it needs a deep cleaning. The pillows have a strange smell, and the fan in the living room is visibly disgusting.
