'Foxtail' Cabin Retreat: Steps to Beaver Lake!

We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The cabin was perfect for our family of 3 and cleaner than anywhere we’ve ever stayed.

We loved a lot of things about this house, but not everything. Plusses - * Location - close to the state park and easy access to the lake, we also enjoyed exploring Rogers (try the gelato place and Onyx coffee!) * Cute - adorable decor* Watersports - we really enjoyed using the provided canoe* Quiet (there is one rental close by that you get some noise from) * Beautiful sunsets!!! To note - * The solo stove (firepit) needed cleaning, so it basically did not work when we were there. * The beach is rocky. It's fine for swimming and watersports, but bring water shoes, not flipflops. The beach is also shared with the house next door. * The oven is camper sized. The max it really fits is an 8.5 x 11 pan. Don't plan on using a cookie sheet. * The fridge does not have an ice maker. There was a bag of ice in the freezer when we arrived.* The advertised stand up paddleboard is for a child. There were a few inflated floats with the water toys as well.Negatives - * Bring all of your outside bug protection - candles, spray, long sleeves, pants... The porch is extremely buggy (spiders, ants, mosquitos, gnats). * We had issues with spiders INSIDE the house. We killed 7 while we were there. (kitchen sink, bathroom, bedroom, living room)* AI answers the communication through the VRBO chat. You have to call a phone number to get any information or help.We enjoyed our stay and got to explore areas of Arkansas we had never been before, but we left with a lot of bug bites.

Amazing property! Very clean and well appointed. Beauty abounds in this setting making it very easy to relax and recharge. My family will definitely return!

What an absolutely amazing property! We had the pleasure of staying here for a week and we loved every minute of it. The views are incredible. The access to the lake was so nice, we spent a lot of time swimming and fishing and canoeing! The house itself was very stylish, loved all the windows and the decor was great. There were plenty of extras that we were thankful to have like all different sizes of life vests, extra lawn chairs, and large beach towels. The only thing that surprised us was that the shore area (and even part of the path down to it) is shared with the neighbors, so that was a little awkward. So you could be sharing that area with whoever your neighbors are, hopefully they are as cool as ours were! Other than that, everything else was completely as described. We definitely enjoyed every bit of this beautiful property and would highly recommend it!
