We had such a fantastic experience staying at Almost Mykonos! We've been to Oak Island three times and I believe this was our best rental experience by far. Not only is the house beautiful and clean, but it is in a fantastic location as well! The fact that it is dog friendly and has a fenced-in area was a true bonus. We spent a lot of time out on that covered deck facing the ocean and it was wonderful to be able to have the dogs out there since it's blocked off.Four bedrooms, all with queen or king size beds, was perfect for our family. And the beds were comfortable! This was just the perfect location for us and we will be back! The equipment that is provided with this house including the bicycles was phenomenal and the first time we've seen such a well-equipped house. The only two things that we missed in the kitchen were a working blender and a hand mixer. Yes, we did make our own meals for the most part and I really wanted to bake a couple of things and it wasn't easy doing it by hand, LOL. Thanks for a great experience!!

Great location, a very close walk to the beach. Comfortable seating, comfortable beds, overall a really great space to enjoy a weekend at the beach.

If I could complain about anything with Almost Mykonos, it would be that we overpacked making sure we had everything we needed. Not only was the place clean, it was as if the owners figured out everything and anything a renter could use or needed and provided it! The home is well appointed, the yard immaculate and the location only steps from the ocean! If anything, the ones in the kitchen are very dull and could be sharpened.

Location, location, location. 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, two blocks from David Creek for kayaking and fishing, 2 minute car drive to stores and restaurants, 10 minutes to the point. House was very spacious and VERY clean. Lots of beach supplies provided which made life so much easier. We brought a couple of our four legged friends, and the second floor deck was perfect for them to dry off after being washed on the ground level outside shower. It was also a nice shady place for them to hang out. The great room was the place to be on the rare occasion that we were at the house hanging out. House stayed nice and cool even during some very hot weather.Plenty of parking and a nice fenced in area for dogs (just be a good owner and clean up!). Wonderful owners.
