With the hot tub below and the hanggliders above, this hilly getaway provided a very chill place to relax and enjoy some time to reconnect with those you haven’t seen in a while. (: Loved the pool table and theater room!

The Location is primo.... above the trees and looking down on an open field where a small plane carries hand-gliders up and releases them. It was great entertainment... No need for Netflix. The kids could run around on the back deck. The garage had a ping-pong table which made for some good competitions. The home is lovely and spacious. Huge media room!! We had a very wonderful memorable time and will be back for sure. Staff was super attentive and friendly. I know the hot tub will be working next time.

This property is fantastic! We were a group of 9, ranging in age from 5 to 71, and we all enjoyed it! The decor was amazing. The house was so comfortable. Very comfy beds. Wish there had been end tables in the living room and bedside tables, but definitely not a deal breaker. We used the hot tub and fire pit. So nice! We enjoyed watching the hang gliders too. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were very responsive. I highly recommend staying at this property.

We have rented many vrbo's but this one was the best by far! We loved the firepit, pool table, ot tub

This was one of our family vacation. The pictures on the website doesn't give this home justice. It is so beautiful and had a lot of space to accommodate everyone. Only wish that more things were available for the kids to do outside but it did have a awesome theater, pool table and hot tub that they did enjoyed. Most definitely will book again.

The location and property itself are so beautiful! The house was perfect for our family and well stocked with amenities. The only drawback was maintenance of the property. It needed some TLC. i.e. air filers were absolutely full of gunk. Luckily there were filters available so we changed them ourselves and cleaned the vents. There are some areas on the deck where the wood is unsafe and needs to be replaced. The trash had not been picked up from the previous rental so it was overflowing in the shed and garbage receptacle. The doorknob for the door to the deck was broken completely and came off in our hands with the first turn. The outdoor cafe lights on the deck were not useful because 95% of them were burn out. The hot tub could not be used because it was leaking. The pool sticks for the pool table were broken and there was no chalk.

The good - We had 14 people in our party, the home was spacious enough that we never felt cramped. We really loved that there were 2 master bedrooms on the main level, and that each level had its own thermostat. There was plenty of seating for meals. The views are spectacular, the hot tub was wonderful, & the deck lighting was magical. The bad - I don’t know when the last time the place was cleaned, definitely not the day we checked in. Apparently there’s a ladybug/beetle problem, because they were everywhere (mostly dead for some time). A window was left open on the main floor, which we finally figured out & I only bring up because “closing windows” is part of the check-out list. During our stay the temperature dropped below freezing. Not only did the Hot Tub start leaking, the main pump at the road froze & on Christmas Day we had no water. I immediately contacted Unique Stays, they had someone bring out 2 cases of water bottles. They then had to come back with about six 1 gallon water jugs so we could use the toilets. A plumber came out the next day & by the afternoon everything was working. Overall, we had a great time, just wish there was some precautions or preparedness taken before the temps dipped below 32°F and maybe the frozen pipes & no water could have been avoided.

Beautiful cabin, super clean, tranquil location, hot tub clean and great working order. Dinner outside on the deck. Close to Ruby Falls and downtown Chattanooga. Perfect!

There was construction being done at the house. Our check-in was delayed 2 1/2 hours because they were still cleaning the house until 6:30pm. One Master Bathroom was being remodeled. I was told about this two days before arrival but was also told that it would still usable. This was not the case. The hot tub took 2 days to warm up to be usable, but we did not because you had to walk thru construction "dust" covering half the back deck and hot tub and it got on anything that touched it. The top deck did not have a railing, which I would be is against code to rent like that for safety reasons. I specifically asked if it was a wood burning stove and was told yes. I bought wood to bring and the wood burning stove was gone. Fire pit was filled will construction debris. The house is nice, but it should not have been rented with remodeling in progress.

The house is nice and secluded. Communication with the investment company is immediate. Problems we had: 1) wifi doesn’t work throughout the house. Only in main room 2) using too much hot water tripped the breaker 3) went in a cold spell and there was ice all over the deck. They didn’t clear it. Two of us slipped hard. 4) hot tub was listed on the listing as functional was broken. Then host tried to sell me some story as to why it wasn’t working. They did fix it while we were there. No idea if they treat the water. 5) could use some more warm blankets for a house in the mountains.

The house is beautiful and huge. We had 3 families (total of 12) fit very comfortably. Theater room kept the kiddos entertained while adults cooked. House had pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen. We ended up bringing a lot of our dishes/pots but if you are doing simple meals, you will have all you need. Hot tub was nice after a day out hiking. Only improvement needed is the cleanliness of the house. It was not swept or mopped before our arrival at 4p. The kitchen floor was sticky and so was the table. Bears and/or raccoons visited nightly too. Scorpions are definitely a thing. Driveway is very small & very steep. We made sure to come home before nightfall b/c it is very dark with no lighting. Overall we had an amazing time in the time, enjoying our family and taking in the beautiful views.

There is plenty of room and well cleaned. There were a few lights that needed replacing and ice machine didn’t work, with a few minor touch ups that need to be fixed, but it was a wonderful home with amazing views! We enjoyed our stay there!

The cabin was beautiful and so clean, we loved the location, we had a great experience but the 2nd day I put my hand on the deck outside and on the other side of railing there was a wasp nest and they stung my whole hand. We notice so many wasp nests all over the cabin. Front and back porch was covered in them.

We stayed here for a girls trip and it was perfect for us. It’s a nice secluded area that was very clean and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was available to us. We forgot to bring coffee but when we arrived coffee was provided. The hot tub is also amazing! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

A lovely house in a beautiful setting, but seriously in need of a major mani-pedi! Generally speaking, the place needed a thorough cleaning both inside and out. Our issues (tntc) involved everything from bugs in the light fixtures to cub tv to mer

The cabin was very nice and clean. Nothing but trees all around. Will definitely be going back again.

Had 12 family members in the group and everyone loved everything about the stay! A very nice home to spend time just sitting around with family, sitting around the campfire, playing pool, or heading to various places around the area. As with any location in the mountains, the Wi-Fi is going to be a little slow but we didn’t go there for Internet service. Would definitely look into renting this place for future vacations! We had our extended family Christmas getaway at this house and really enjoyed our stay! There were four families with 10 total people and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy time with each other. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils. The teenage boys loved the theater room, pool table, and ping pong table. It was close enough to town to be able to run out and get groceries but still felt like a retreat. We enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I rent cabins several times a year for little get aways. This one was a little disappointing. Overall cleanliness was pretty good. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. There isn’t an icemaker in the fridge. The futon that serves as a couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. The queen size bed was not the greatest. We were given one towel each; we booked the cabin for three nights. With showers and hot tub usage, one towel each was NOT sufficient. We ended up leaving a day early.

We visited in January so viewing the ice-glazed ground, rocks and trees while standing in a warm home was a very calm and cozy feeling. All the beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets for the winter. The heater worked perfectly. We came during a cold blast so we never saw temperatures above freezing but the house was always warm, though for that reason we never did experience the hot tub. Movie theatre was a huge hit! At one point we stuffed 12 people in there for card games and movies and still had space for more. The projector is clear, free HDMI cable for easy hookup of your own device (we just used the roku provided by management) and the speakers get loud enough to drown out those pesky friends who like to talk through the whole movie! What else; Kitchen was fully equipped, fridge is huge, bathrooms were super clean, hot water was hot. When we arrived we had an issue with the wifi network not getting internet access. I texted our point of contact to let her know, then we went out to see some family. While we were out, they sent tech out to the property. We're talking late in the evening around 9 or 10pm and they STILL got it done! No canned response, no "we'll get to it in the morning," they fixed it immediately. If that isn't great service I don't know what is. High speed internet btw. 10/10 recommend this property, superb place for larger gatherings.

We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of space for multiple families to spread out. The furniture was comfortable for lounging and the kitchen furnished allowing us to cook all of our meals.

We had a great time & the property was beautiful! We did have some issues with finding things within the property. Towels, garbage bags, etc. But it did not change our view on the property. Overall, I would recommend this property for large groups!

Lots of room, bonus entertainment watching the hand gliders take off and land. Great for several families to stay together.

Listing showed pictures of the TN river, with the words "view" underneath, but there is not a view at all. The property is nowhere near a river of any sort and is completely surrounded by woods. The futon in the living room is worn out and uncomfortable, with the cover being torn in multiple places. The bed in main bedroom was uncomfortable, and the head of the bed is placed under a 6 inch window seal so we cracked our heads on it several times. There is an upper loft with additional bed, but the ladder is old and cracking in places and placed in an awkward way so difficult to get up and down. There was no storage whatsoever in the smaller bedroom and just barely enough room to put suitcase on floor. The kitchen was nice and the hot tub worked great though. But overall the cabin was uncomfortable.

Our stay was fantastic. Issues in the home were resolved quickly, even when we were just letting them know a frustration and not that anything needed to be done immediately, someone came around to make our stay better. The only thing I personally did not like about the location was the steep driveway. I had not been to this area and learned we do not like mountain area driving. We did like the view and the privacy. My sisters and mom gathered with our families. The house was amazing at accommodating all of us safely and comfortably.

I’ve stayed at numerous rentals in the US & at least 3 other countries and have NEVER posted a negative review. I hate to do this but I don’t want others to waste their money. Booked for a family trip [11 adults & 6 children (all under 6)]. Upon check-in, we realized the heat/air on the main floor was broken. There were no extra comforters around. They did bring us space heaters the next day. The handy man said he has been trying to get it fixed for a month. We had no idea prior to check in on this issue. The owner called to ask if roofers could come while we were there and he would discount us $250 from our stay. I agreed. Roofers came before daylight. Property manager woke me up to alert me that vehicles needed to be moved. I was told by the owner it should only take half a day. We left the property and came back later. The roofers were there past 7pm. We later discovered sheet rock & nails on the floor/beds in the kids twin bunk room. The roofers came back at 6:15 the next morning to get trailer and woke us all up again. To top it off, we had a bonfire on our last night. Came inside to take showers only to find that septic system had stopped up. The basement bathtub flooded. We were told not to flush any toilets or run water for the rest of the night (13 individuals needed shower). Contacted rental company and owner several times with no response. Yet to receive $250 discount that owner agreed to for roofing day. Would suggest pest control as we saw rat in living room

We could not have been MORE pleased with this property and the communication! It is exactly as pictured - in the woods, very secluded, you see nothing but beautiful peaceful forest from every angle. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. We reached out twice during our stay (via text) - once about getting the hot tub going and again about extending our stay - and the responses were immediate, friendly, and very helpful! It is about a 15-20 min drive into Chattanooga, but we found food/drink stores just a few mins away in Wildwood. We are already planning another trip next year and plan to book Ravenwood again if it is available!

This home was perfect for our youth group trip! All of the beds were comfy and in great shape. There was ample space for our group to stretch out and find quiet time. It's a beautiful home!All instructions were clear and process was easy. Communications with host were also excellent. Would definitely recommend this home for groups!

We had a great time at The Retreat at Wildwood. We had multiple families fit comfortably. Smooth checkin process, the owners reached out after our first night to make sure everything was in order. The kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely book a trip here again!

It was fabulous. The location is idyllic. The valley is beautiful. Watching the ultra lites and hang gliders was so much fun. This house was a wonderful place to take my 95 year old mother in law for HER weekend.close to Chatt for fun and Walmart for necessities. Would return for a moth if I could. :)Thank you to Sage for being available.

The house is a really great house in every way. It is close enough to the city of Trenton, GA which has excellent shopping facilities - especially grocery stores. Be aware that you will be charged 10 per person per day for each guest beyond four persons. The owner explained this policy to me, as it is not included in the listing. Even with that charge, the price per person per night is quite resonable. Over all, it is a really great home and we would stay there again.

The property is just as pictured. Such a quiet and relaxing place to kick back at the end of a long day of sightseeing or hiking! We were only 20 minutes from the tourist attractions that we had planned to visit. The house is furnished with everything that we needed for the week and couldn't have been happier with the property that we had chosen for our trip!

This is a beautiful house located in the mountains. It's everything described in the photos. It's secluded but only 15 minutes from a nearby town.

We stayed at Wildwood for our Ironman trip. It was a great property for our group and provided an awesome retreat away from the busyness of downtown Chattanooga. We found convenient shopping nearby in Trenton and it was a lot of fun to watch the paragliding through the trees. The property was exactly as listed and communicating with the host was easy. We found the hot tub to be great after the race too!
