Our friends have a cabin in Roxbury and we were looking to stay in our own space, but to be near by. We loved our little cottage in the woods. The brook along the mountainside and the paths in the woods were lovely. The carriage house was larger than expected and wish we had the time to stay longer. Thanks for having us!

A true peaceful country setting with a private house at the end of the drive. It was clean & well furnished for our stay. Having a washer & dryer was handy. Hosts were friendly & helpful. Although off the main road, access to other locations was easy. Beautiful fall colors (1st week of October)!

My family, partner and I stayed for a week in the cozy cabin for the total solar eclipse. We have family in Vermont and this was the perfect stay nearby. The cabin was exactly as described and had everything one could ask for. Our hostess, Hannah and cyrus were friendly and provided recommendations of things.to do nearby. We also took a short walk on their 26 acre property on our last day which was lovely. We highly recommend staying at the cabin if anyone wants.to get away and disconnect from busy life. Vermont is a special place in our heart and we would definitely stay again at the cabin!

Kitchen had all the basic necessities- spices, pots, pans, electric tea kettle, etc. Cozy, clean cabin, with gorgeous morning light. Calm and gentle environment. No tv albeit great internet. Intentional amenities like a baby playpen, fan, sound machine. Great for a family of 6 and a baby. Nice, spacious shower and plenty of outdoors space to roam and explore. The hosts were very thoughtful and kind.

Perfect stay to retreat from society and enjoy the great outdoors MTBing. Perfect in between spot for Stowe and Killington. Storages for bikes was a great amenity.

The host was great at communicating. The property is beautiful. Feels off the beaten path especially as the pavement ends and you continue down the road a bit. But it was close enough to Northfield, where we spent most of our time for Norwich's graduation ceremony. The sound of the creek is very relaxing. The cabin is large and roomy-- with an excellent view. Comfortable furniture that feel homey. We stayed in early May -- everything was green and they still had daffodils blooming :) The loft area was perfect for our young adult - who zipped up the ladder. We loved our time visiting, and only wished we had more time to stay.

This is an amazing, quiet, and cozy hideaway. Sitting on beautiful property with chickens (daughter got a kick out of the rooster crowing) and 2 friendly dogs. The kids really enjoyed the stream which is right outside the door and also walking the trails that are all around.

My husband and I needed a little getaway to decompress. This was the perfect haven for us! The place was clean and in really good shape. The big windows were lovely to look out of. We wished we had more time to explore the trail that was on the land. It was quiet, comfortable, and restful. The bed was really comfortable. The kitchen was stocked for basic cooking which was helpful. There were plenty of towels if needed. We would recommend this site for sure!

What an awesome place to stay! We were out in the woods on a beautiful property and it was so peaceful. It was so relaxing to get out of traffic and away from the crowds. The carriage house was cozy and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable after a long day. I especially loved the night skies where you felt like you could see every star. Hannah was great at communicating with us and very helpful in getting us to the location! We would definitely book again if we return to the area.

Our family has visited Vermont many times over the years, but this was by far our favorite rental. Hannah and Cyrus were wonderful hosts. They gave us space to explore their beautiful property and suggestions for day trips. The cabin was clean and cozy, and we had so much fun exploring on the trails Cyrus has created. Our granddaughter loved the ducks, dogs, and chickens. we would certainly stay here again.

We really enjoyed this property—it was quiet, clean, well-appointed, and the owners were very responsive. We didn’t check out the surrounding acreage much due to rain, but will likely visit again!

For the second year in a row, my family enjoyed everything about our stay in this gorgeous cottage! The surroundings are incredible. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and has everything needed for a wonderful stay. And Hannah and Cyrus are exceptional hosts!

An excellent country living if you want a true Vermont experience. Hosts were excellent in responding to our needs. However, keep in mind: No A/C, so when we were there this month, VERY hot and humid. Most of the windows had screens, so we could open them for cross-ventilation; but some didn't which allowed bugs in. Has basic things needed, but no dishwasher. Also, there are steps (half floor) to get up into the main floor; we weren't expecting that, we had assumed it was on ground floor. So makes accessibility limited for handicap, if not impossible. Very clean, plenty of towels, beds were very comfortable.

It's quiet, with extensive views of the landscape from large windows. I made a couple of meals there and the kitchen basics were handy. The hosts were cordial and sent detailed info on check-in and directions. There's no TV, but there's strong wifi, so BYO devices. The road to the farm is a hard-packed roadbed, unpaved - drive with care. Once you get there, though, you may be so comfortable you don't want to leave!

Beautiful secluded stay in Roxbury that was perfect for our needs during our friends’ wedding weekend. House was well stocked with everything one would need in the kitchen, linens, blankets, etc. Wish there was a hair dryer though since we were in town for a wedding and the temps were lower in the mornings.

We were looking for something private and quiet in Vermont for 2 nights, and got exactly that! Hannah is very responsive and helpful, especially during a miscommunication. For some reason VRBO added A/C as an amenity, which is not the case, and Hannah updated the listing immediately as well as shared another property we could move to or get a full refund. We opted to stay and use the ceiling fans, and it wasn't too bad for a very hot day in July. We also had a work Zoom call one evening and were very relieved to know that the wifi worked perfectly. Thank you again for having us at your home!

Perfect, quiet location and the host were very responsive! Me and my daughter stayed for a girls getaway for a hiking trip and the location was perfect for the weekend activities. Look forward to staying here in the future.

The house was beautiful, secluded in the woods down a dirt road off the main highways. It was very quiet, and only a full moon kept us from seeing many more stars than we can usually see in the city. The hosts could not have been nicer, more communicative, or more accommodating. It was an outstanding experience and one we will long remember. We will stay there again when we can return to Vermont.

We were looking for something private and quiet in Vermont for 2 nights, and got exactly that! Hannah is very responsive and helpful, especially during a miscommunication. For some reason VRBO added A/C as an amenity, which is not the case, and Hannah updated the listing immediately as well as shared another property we could move to or get a full refund. We opted to stay and use the ceiling fans, and it wasn't too bad for a very hot day in July. We also had a work Zoom call one evening and were very relieved to know that the wifi worked perfectly. Kitchen had all the basic necessities- spices, pots, pans, electric tea kettle, etc. Cozy, clean cabin, with gorgeous morning light. Calm and gentle environment. No tv albeit great internet. Intentional amenities like a baby playpen, fan, sound machine. Great for a family of 6 and a baby. Nice, spacious shower and plenty of outdoors space to roam and explore. The hosts were very thoughtful and kind.

But it was close enough to Northfield, where we spent most of our time for Norwich's graduation ceremony. The sound of the creek is very relaxing. The cabin is large and roomy-- with an excellent view. Comfortable furniture that feel homey. We stayed in early May -- everything was green and they still had daffodils blooming :) The loft area was perfect for our young adult - who zipped up the ladder. We loved our time visiting, and only wished we had more time to stay.

What an awesome place to stay! We were out in the woods on a beautiful property and it was so peaceful. It was so relaxing to get out of traffic and away from the crowds. The carriage house was cozy and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable after a long day. I especially loved the night skies where you felt like you could see every star. Hannah was great at communicating with us and very helpful in getting us to the location! We would definitely book again if we return to the area.

Just what we needed for the 2 of us and our dog. Convenient location for visiting our son at Norwich University which is under 15 minutes away. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of bath towels and comfortable bed. No cell coverage but good internet allowing for reliable wifi-calling. Never had an issue with dropped calls or internet connectivity (we worked several hours each day during our stay). Definitely need all wheel/4wheel drive vehicle for traveling the few miles on the road to the house during winter and mud season. Thank you for your letting us share your cozy home and for allowing dogs.

Lovely location with babbling brook next to the home. Everything was well stocked with nice amenities. Memory foam mattress was the most comfortable I slept on. Well maintained dirt road for about a mile or so to get there. All & all, excellent place to stay.

!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness I cannot recommend this place more. Hannah and Cyrus were so kind and lovely to talk to, and the property itself is truly what dreams are made of. Rolling hills, ducks running around, and the cottage is everything you need: cozy, practical, with all the basic things you’ll need. I’ll be coming back
