La Casa de Dalt, ideal for families

From my first contact with the owner, Carles, I knew this would be a great stay. He was friendly, helpful and responsive. Check-in was a breeze, and the flat was clean, tidy and modern. The beds were comfortable, and many things were available, like coffee pods, salt, kitchen roll, etc. The only thing to be aware of is that the flat is on the second floor (European second floor, so American third floor) with no lift. You also have a short walk up and down hills from parking to the flat. It is definitely not suitable for the mobility challenged. My elderly parents were with us, which was quite tricky for them. However, it is well worth it if you are not mobility challenged. So, don't let that put you off. Locally there are things to see and do, and the drive into the mountains was stunning. The local monastery in Poblet is well worth a visit, and the town of Montblanc, just down the road, is a lovely place to spend a day walking around.
