3 level cabin on Mt Mitchell golf course

Great property and location!!

The stay was for a family get together, the first since Hurricane Helene. My daughter has hosted our family gatherings but she lost everything during the hurricane. This was a time to get together and check on everyone’s physical and mental health. The property served that purpose and all is well. Until we are able to rebuild her home, this is the place we will try to book and use. The host was very helpful and the rental was clean and well prepared for the guests. Thank you for making it available.

We were a group of 15 who stayed here over a weekend and hiked up Mt Mitchell. This is an amazing location with excellent access to trail head. Cottage is well suited and supplied for our large group. Huge living area, well supplied kitchen, nice refrigerator. Rooms are spacious and bed details are accurate. Perhaps the only small improvement would be the toilet flush seems to leak water continuously and you need to jiggle it a bit to stop water leak into bowl. It is a 3 level property - but does have one bedroom in main level.

Great space for family gatherings. Did need some maintenance, however. Dishwasher needed repair. We were not allowed to use the fireplace which was disappointing as it went down to 17 degrees.

This cabin was amazing! We were on a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip and the guys stayed at this cabin and they could not have been more satisfied and back in high school. It was so perfect for a group of guys that also enjoy golfing. The cabin was spacious enough for the girls to visit one night and do group dinner and everyone was able to eat comfortably. We really enjoyed everything about this trip, from the golf course, to the cabin and the city as a whole!
