Férias Cottage Destino Grande Grupo Forest Cottage

The house feels smaller than expected, the rooms are full of bunk beds which are convenient for big groups but they’re really stuffed in there. A lot of the beds are broken or in poor shape. I was mostly disappointed at how dirty everything was - especially the floors, furniture, and dishes. Felt more like a crusty summer camp than a home. The house has 2 fridges and plenty of dishes, pots and pans for a big group. It was also stingy on basic amenities, didn’t see bar soap/shampoo/conditioner and no olive oil for cooking. The outdoor area could use some love and a good hose off before guests. The property has potential but definitely not worth the price.

Our stay was spectacular. The house is an incredible size, and the front yard is huge! Plenty of parking. We ran into a problem with some doors being jammed, but the host communicated that keys were available. There is also a sign at the front door with that information, and other helpful cleanup information. Overall, a really great experience. I look forward to staying at this cottage again!!

We were a group of 21 and there was enough room for everybody. The host was very detailed with all the instructions and that was super useful. The place is beautiful and well maintained. Although we could not use the outdoor facilities due to bad weather, there is a pretty good outdoor space for kids to play.

My five children and all of their kids and I stayed at this house for three days over Christmas. We had such a great time! There were 11 grandkids 12 adults. We thought there was room for everyone!

Our stay was great! There were 42 people in total and we all had beds to sleep on. We celebrated thanksgiving together and had an amazing time.
