Yes house was clean and tidy,

The property was perfect for our big group to stay in Adelaide for Gather Round. 6 minutes from the train station, beach front with gorgeous sunsets every night. Well equipped kitchen. We would definitely rebook this house. The only feedback we would provide is that the mattresses are all very hard which wasn’t great for a good sleep. Thank you for having us, we had a fantastic time!

Our bridal party stayed here in March for the weekend of our wedding which was in McLaren Vale. Great location- short drive to McLaren Vale wineries, but also so close to the beach- could spend the morning along the beach. The home is spacious, with great modern facilites. Great balcony to enjoy the stunning beach sunset.

Great location Property not very clean in some areas, no dryer and weather was cold so difficulty drying towels etc to freshen up, sleeps 10 but little cooking equipment for use,absolutely no microwave or other plastics to use Bins were full when we got there and so we were limited and had to dump rubbish in other designated areas around location - bit unhappy about that and wouldn’t book house again Walls had multiple marks on them , hope owners didn’t think we did that !!! Just because we had 2 children in tow

Ochre Sunsets was definitely large and roomy for our group of 4 adults and 2 young children but we found it lacking on three accounts. Firstly, with a 3 year old and a 1 year old we needed both a single bed (with a waterproof matress protector) and a cot or porta cot. of which neither were provided as all 5 bedrooms have only queen size beds. When I contacted the agent to request at least a porta cot be provided I was given no assistance. Considering 2 high chairs are provided at the premises we found this bed situation very inconvenient. Secondly, the bottom crisper of the fridge froze all our fruit and vegetables so that they all had to be thrown away. Thirdly, we always leave our rentals in a very good state so we are very annoyed at being charged such an exorbitant amount for cleaning. I usually book through other agencies and recently stayed at Normanville. The owner of that place sent me a text after we left saying her cleaner had been embarrassed to charge the cleaning fee due to how well we had left it.
