Casa Marina Bahia, Private Pool, 10 Min to Beach!

Two couples stayed a week and the house and location are good. Some road noise from the main road behind the house but you get used to it. House layout was good with 4 bedrooms with great beds and pillows. Acces to the beach was less than a 5 min walk and about 15 to where the restaurants are. The response to inquiries from the property management company was very good. Shortfalls: - the pool was never cleaned before or during our stay. We cleaned it when we got there and removed the beer caps from the bottom. Filtration system was plugged and not working. Only four poolside loungers provided and are at their end of life. More poolside furniture is needed. - only one hand towel per bathroom provided - no dish drying towels until we asked - bare minimum for dishes (more than 4 people could not stay for an extended period - no glassware around pool rule but no plastic cups provided (other than children’s small cups) - outdoor furniture in courtyard and rooftop patio was cleaned by us before we could use - chairs and tables for the two balconies would be a good idea so you can enjoy the view. Overall, the house needs a good top to bottom clean between rentals with some attention to amenities and it would be a 5 star. We would certainly rent the house again if the issues noted were taken care of.
