For a tiny cottage, it still feels very spacious. The backyard area was done very well, and our dogs loved having a little space for themselves. The bed was big and comfy, and the chairs and couch were perfect for lounging. The only down side is that there was no shower and we were asked not to use shampoo or bubbles in the nice jacuzzi tub. We only stayed one night, so not being able to wash my hair was fine, but if we had stayed longer I would have had to wash my hair in the sink.

This super cute and cozy little house was perfect for my 2 night stay. I appreciated all of the little special touches like battery operated candles by the giant bathtub (no shower), steps beside the huge king bed, and the visitor guide left for me. Host communication was beyond amazing. Do yourself a favor and bring a facemask and bathbomb to enjoy the amazing bath!

Rusty's Cottage was the perfect overnight rest stop for our road trip to Colorado. The home is cozy, bed was super comfy, and definitely no complaints about relaxing in a jetted tub after 8 1/2 hours of driving! Teresa was incredibly accommodating - sent everything we needed in advance and checked on us because we got into town a little later than originally planned. We got in late and left fairly early the next morning so didn't get to experience much of Post (side note, Coffee Wizards was outstanding). Rusty's Cottage is definitely a hidden gem!

I enjoyed having the space to myself and that I could do what I wanted when I wanted to do it. If there had been a chair or other place of outside furniture on the front porch so I could have had my morning coffee out there that would have been a nice touch. I wasn't concerned with the no shower situation but a review of how that would beore beneficial to guests might be a good idea in the future.

This home is a gem. Easy to locate and WOW when you step inside! So inviting after a long drive. Exceptionally appointed with more than enough basic necessities. The jet bath is really relaxing and the bed is the most comfortable. When next we visit we'd love to stay here again. Thank you!

The best thing about this cozy cottage is the big inviting jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom. It was wonderful and so relaxing after driving hours on the road. The cottage is pet-friendly and it was nice to have the enclosed, fenced yard for the safety of our 2 little dogs. We will be staying here again. Thank you!

Owner was very communicable. Everything was great about our stay. The bed was super comfy! I was thankful for the extra toiletries available as I didnt realize on booking it was bathtub only. I would still stay again. This home was clean, cozy and beautiful! Great location too.

Loved the esthetic of this house! If you’re into Victorian decor, this place does it well. I was only there for one night on my journey to New Mexico but, there was an incredible thunderstorm that blew through. The patio area is so serene, that it made it perfect to sit back, relax, and enjoy the storm…at least until it started pouring! Will definitely be saving this place for when I decide to take another roadtrip!

Great little place to stay in Post. Host is amazing and the town has a lot to offer. Highly recommended. Not sure why VRBO asked about skiing, I have 5 stars for asking but there are not any ski areas close by.

If you’re passing through from Abilene and Lubbock you know it’s a long stretch. Stopping in Post is easy and very easy access to this property.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Teresa made everything very easy. Great communication. Helped with any concern we had. Convenient to down town. Would recommend for sure.

This is a unique and lovely home that is elaborately decorated with care. We were very comfortable! We hadn’t been in Post for many many years and found this little house bubbling to the point of precious. It was clean, conveniently located for us to revisit Shops shops we’d been in,

Great little place to stay in Post. Host is amazing and the town has a lot to offer. Highly recommended. Not sure why VRBO asked about skiing, I have 5 stars for asking but there are not any ski areas close by.

Such a cute property , the personal touches were so amazing . Great communication , very clean and perfect for my little dog , she loved the backyard and her walks around neighborhood ! I would definitely stay here again .

Second time my wife and I stayed at this property. Very clean, ac was good, and location to Lubbock was handy. Only thing that was missing was a shower, but the hot tub made up for that. Plan on booking again. Thanks
