We had the best time! The property is wonderful and peaceful. Sitting on the porch was so relaxing. The house has so much character and history but is updated and very lovely. The hosts are amazing. If we come back to the area, we definitely will stay here.

Better than described - a delightful home and property. Our family of 5 (all adults) plus our dog and cat enjoyed a fabulous and relaxing vacation together at this lovely home. The house was sparklingly clean and super comfortable, with so many thoughtful touches that helped make life easy. Each room was beautifully and comfortably furnished and there were designated pet blankets in each room as well as a set of outdoor blankets which made relaxing in the shade on the lawn with a good book an absolute delight. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals in and the owners were very generous with providing starter supplies and pantry items beyond what I would have expected. One of the best properties we have ever rented and one of the best vacations we've ever had. I hope we get the chance to return someday. We'll be enjoying these fond memories of our stay for years to come.

My family had a wonderful stay - house was so warm and cozy. Spotlessly clean. All the beds seemed new and very very comfortable. So many wonderful little details - everything from thoughtful food items to a wonderful letter about history of the house. Communication was excellent and check in / check out process easy peasy. We were in town for March madness basketball games and super easy to get to campus from house. We most definitely will return if we head to Kansas again.

As a family who lives in an old house, we loved the uniqueness and chance to enjoy such a historic place. But the thoughtfulness of the hosts and amenities were definitely up-to-date. Extremely clean and comfortable as well as pet-friendly. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place!

We took the dogs and the boat up to Manhattan to visit Tuttle Creek State Park and Milford Lake over a few days. The house and location were absolutely perfect. You get a country setting just a minute from the convenience of town. The house is immaculately clean, the hosts are so nice, and there are thoughtful touches everywhere. If we ever decide to do this sort of lake trip again we’ll surely stay here.

This was the most outstanding VRBO we have stayed in. The place was beautiful, and the setting was peaceful. The hosts thought about all of the little details and even accommodated a last minute request. This is a great place.

We had the best time! The property is wonderful and peaceful. Sitting on the porch was so relaxing. The house has so much character and history but is updated and very lovely. The hosts are amazing. If we come back to the area, we definitely will stay here.

This was the perfect spot for our weekend! The location is great-close to town with easy access but a quiet country experience. As a family who lives in an old house, we loved the uniqueness and chance to enjoy such a historic place. But the thoughtfulness of the hosts and amenities were definitely up-to-date. Extremely clean and comfortable as well as pet-friendly. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place!

We loved the location...close to K-State and still felt like miles away from civilization. The stars at night were amazing. Very pet friendly.

We took the dogs and the boat up to Manhattan to visit Tuttle Creek State Park and Milford Lake over a few days. The house and location were absolutely perfect. You get a country setting just a minute from the convenience of town. The house is immaculately clean, the hosts are so nice, and there are thoughtful touches everywhere. If we ever decide to do this sort of lake trip again we’ll surely stay here.

My family and I decided to rent this home to celebrate my 60th birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect. The home is absolutely beautiful and is only 2 minutes out of town. I was a little apprehensive about the train tracks being so close to the house but there were only about 6 trains a day which was not disturbing at all. We would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay. This was our second visit for our yearly trip to Kansas. You can always tell how much care is put into the property. The owners are a pleasure and easy to get in touch with. We look forward to coming back next year!

A hidden gem we absolutely loved! This farmhouse is a rare find — beautifully appointed with everything you could need and more. Our hosts were simply outstanding, attentive without being intrusive. The location couldn't be more convenient for campus access. We arrived tired and left completely recharged. The highlight? Watching our grandchild hunt Easter eggs in the yard — pure magic. We'll be back!
