We were in town for several days for a family wedding celebration. Communication with the owner was terrific - prompt and helpful. The location was fantastic, close to everything including the venues, the lake and Burke Gilman trail. We loved the house, relaxing in the hammock on the deck, the amenities, the beautiful gardens and architecture.

This home was perfect for our friend gathering. It had plenty of space for conversations, the kitchen was well supplied with high quality plates, bowls and silverware, and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. There are nice outside areas that we didn't use due to time and the cool, rainy weather. The garden is amazing and so beautiful!!! Thank you for making this visit easy for us!

What a beautiful home and property. We loved every single thing. Highlights: The amazing landscaping, what a joy to see the names of plants added to the landscape. The open layout inside and deck areas outside. Amazing location! We were in town for a concert at Chateau St Michelle on Friday evening and wanted to spend Saturday being tourists in Seattle. We loved this location. Thank you for the absolutely delightful home!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is clean and nicely maintained. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We found everything we needed in the kitchen; it was well supplied. The yard is absolutely lovely! And it’s on a nice quiet street with plenty of parking. Our elderly parents were with us, so it was nice to all be on one level with no stairs. The bathroom and shower in the back were easy to get in and out of which was good for them. The hosts were very helpful and good about communicating in a timely manner. I highly recommend staying here.

This property is gorgeous! The garden area is so peaceful and relaxing. Melinda came over the day we arrived to welcome us. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions that we had. The house was very clean with a light and airy feel. There are many windows and sliding glass doors which allowed for the perfect amount of natural sunlight. 10/10 recommend!

The property has been lovingly maintained and updated to an authentic mid-century feel. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The beautiful gardens surrounding the house make it feel very secluded yet it’s close everything. We enjoyed the outdoor dining areas. Melinda was wonderful to deal with and very quick to answer any questions.

We have stayed at quite a few VRBOs and this one has to rank near the top. Perfect location in North Seattle suburb. House is immaculate, well appointed, very private and has an amazing garden. Feels like the house is in the middle of a park. Grocery and restaurants near by. Easy access to all areas of greater Seattle. Melinda answered questions and provided clarification really quickly.

The house was clean and the yard was really beautiful... Enjoyed the benches and hidden spots in the garden. I brought my 4 year old grandson on this trip. He was excited about the puzzles, Legos, and story books that were provided. The house had a little something for everyone.Thanks for a great stay.... The quick getaway was fun.

We recently completed a 6-night stay at this property. The house has all the amenities and is very spacious. The appliances all look new and work perfectly. There is a good-sized backyard all around and we enjoyed sitting at the table and watching the birds. There's plenty of privacy and being in a cul-de-sac, it's quiet and peaceful. There are 2 full very clean bathrooms and the showers were great with nice water pressure. There's a fully equipped kitchen and an Albertsons grocery store just down the road. Downtown Seattle isn't too far away and the Boeing factory and museum are about 10 miles North. Melinda and Christian are great hosts and were easy to reach and contact on the couple of occasions when we had questions, etc. Overall, our family enjoyed our stay and we would love to stay here again on our next visit.

This was a great house for a family to spend time together. It’s a little older but it’s clean and the deck and gardens are to die for! The host greeted us with a bottle of Chateau Ste Michelle and it just got better from there. The host even sent an extra air conditioner when it got hot and a neighbor to help us install it. This house is a 13 minute drive to the train into Seattle and far enough north that getting to ferries to see other islands is easy. I highly recommend!

It is a very neat and homey place, perfect for our family with teenagers who appreciate ample of personal space while giving lots of areas for family activities. Other than a little bit aged cabinets which are fully functional, this place is highly recommended. We can imagine our family returning for an even longer stay.

Well-kept and updated ranch style home in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Indoors are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable. We visited during a heat wave so air conditioning was the best! Outside yard and gardens were outstanding! Melinda and Christian were attentive to our needs. Thank you for a great WA vacation!

This property was phenomenal. We were greeted from the moment we exited our vehicle with the sweet scents of flowers in bloom. The yard is an amazing garden oasis, and the owners have even gone to the trouble of labeling many of their numerous varieties of plants. The home is tucked into a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, directly next to a school. While we did not end up having time to enjoy a game of tennis, it was a neat perk to have courts right next door. Inside, the decor perfectly compliments the mid-century mod vibes of the house, which is in great condition. The kitchen was well-stocked and met our needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable, and having space to spread out made this a very relaxing stay.

Very clean, great for families and good location. We were in town for a wedding and this property was an excellent place to unwind from all the chaos. There were toys games and books for our 4 year old grandson, walking distance to playground and a pizza place for good food. Kitchen was stocked well with cooking devices and the laundry room worked well. The host was very gracious and asked on multiple occasions if we needed anything.

Absolutely perfect! This was such an amazing trip for my family. The house was exactly as described and we loved all of it!! So peaceful, so well kept and so comfortable! We were in town for several days for a family wedding celebration. Communication with the owner was terrific - prompt and helpful. The location was fantastic, close to everything including the venues, the lake and Burke Gilman trail. We loved the house, relaxing in the hammock on the deck, the amenities, the beautiful gardens and architecture.

We recently completed a 6-night stay at this property. The house has all the amenities and is very spacious. The appliances all look new and work perfectly. There is a good-sized backyard all around and we enjoyed sitting at the table and watching the birds. There's plenty of privacy and being in a cul-de-sac, it's quiet and peaceful. There are 2 full very clean bathrooms and the showers were great with nice water pressure. There's a fully equipped kitchen and an Albertsons grocery store just down the road. Downtown Seattle isn't too far away and the Boeing factory and museum are about 10 miles North. Melinda and Christian are great hosts and were easy to reach and contact on the couple of occasions when we had questions, etc. Overall, our family enjoyed our stay and we would love to stay here again on our next visit.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christian and Melinda’s Lake Forest Park home. The home had an ideal layout - perfect for my family of four - and was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed coffee by the fireplace in the mornings and appreciated its central location to many restaurants, breweries, and various locations in and around Seattle. Christian and Melinda were great hosts - made check-in and check-out a breeze, and communicated consistently with us throughout the stay to be sure we had everything we needed.We’ll certainly stay here again next time we are in Seattle! Well-kept and updated ranch style home in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Indoors are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable. We visited during a heat wave so air conditioning was the best! Outside yard and gardens were outstanding! Melinda and Christian were attentive to our needs. Thank you for a great WA vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is clean and nicely maintained. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We found everything we needed in the kitchen; it was well supplied. The yard is absolutely lovely! And it’s on a nice quiet street with plenty of parking. Our elderly parents were with us, so it was nice to all be on one level with no stairs. The bathroom and shower in the back were easy to get in and out of which was good for them. The hosts were very helpful and good about communicating in a timely manner. I highly recommend staying here.

We traveled from GA for my daughter’s wedding in Gig Harbor and the house was exactly as pictured. The yard was so beautiful and we enjoyed it as well. Communication was excellent before & after we left and it was so nice walking in and having a handwritten note & bottle of wine from the owners welcoming us. We enjoyed everything about this house & will definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay with 6 adults and a 4 month old. There was a pack and play available which made travel much easier for us. The home is true to its pictures - well decorated and clean. The outdoor space is beautiful as well and we saw 3 deer on the property. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy. Christian and Melinda are very communicative and quick to fix any issues.

This property is gorgeous! The garden area is so peaceful and relaxing. Melinda came over the day we arrived to welcome us. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions that we had. The house was very clean with a light and airy feel. There are many windows and sliding glass doors which allowed for the perfect amount of natural sunlight. 10/10 recommend!

This was a great house for a family to spend time together. It’s a little older but it’s clean and the deck and gardens are to die for! The host greeted us with a bottle of Chateau Ste Michelle and it just got better from there. The host even sent an extra air conditioner when it got hot and a neighbor to help us install it. This house is a 13 minute drive to the train into Seattle and far enough north that getting to ferries to see other islands is easy. I highly recommend!

What a beautiful home and property. We loved every single thing. Highlights: The amazing landscaping, what a joy to see the names of plants added to the landscape. The open layout inside and deck areas outside. Amazing location! We were in town for a concert at Chateau St Michelle on Friday evening and wanted to spend Saturday being tourists in Seattle. We loved this location. Thank you for the absolutely delightful home!

Despite reading the reviews and looking at photos, I never expected the yards to be so lovely. Whenever I could, I ate and read outdoors or looked out the many windows. The surrounding neighborhood is very pretty, the house is super comfortable and very well-equipped, and Melinda and Christian are fantastic. They responded quickly to messages. Everything we wanted to visit was within 30 minutes yet the house feels secluded and is quiet. I would love to return.

This stylish and clean house, with a fabulous garden, is even better than the listing pictured. My little family stayed here for 8 nights recently to visit local family and enjoyed it very much. We lucked out and got to see some very unique flowers blooming in the garden too! It’s well located for a family with little kids, because on the weekends we were able to walk right into the adjacent elementary school property and use the playground! We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit family in the area.

We have stayed at quite a few VRBOs and this one has to rank near the top. Perfect location in North Seattle suburb. House is immaculate, well appointed, very private and has an amazing garden. Feels like the house is in the middle of a park. Grocery and restaurants near by. Easy access to all areas of greater Seattle. Melinda answered questions and provided clarification really quickly.

Very clean, great for families and good location. We were in town for a wedding and this property was an excellent place to unwind from all the chaos. There were toys games and books for our 4 year old grandson, walking distance to playground and a pizza place for good food. Kitchen was stocked well with cooking devices and the laundry room worked well. The host was very gracious and asked on multiple occasions if we needed anything.

The house was perfect for our Seattle area biking trip. We had pre-planned several routes that were all trails - easily reached by a short car ride. The garden area table was very pleasant after the weather warmed. There was plenty of room to easily visit. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses and utensils. Five women - 60+ all agreed the house worked perfectly.

This home was perfect for our friend gathering. It had plenty of space for conversations, the kitchen was well supplied with high quality plates, bowls and silverware, and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. There are nice outside areas that we didn't use due to time and the cool, rainy weather. The garden is amazing and so beautiful!!! Thank you for making this visit easy for us!

It exceeded our expectations! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. My favorite part was their yard and outside space! It is unbelievable! A friendly neighbor walking her dog visited with us and mentioned it was designed by an arborist who ensured something was blooming all seasons of the year. Honestly, it looked like a yard from a magazine. There is also a nice corner wrap around deck to view and enjoy the beauty of the garden and some seating within the garden. The house was decorated very cute with consistent coloring and theme. It was immaculate, items labeled well, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. Plenty of towels, paper goods, use of cooking spices, etc. The beds had wonderful matresses on them! I have back issues and can not sleep well in any bed except my own and slept well in the bed here! It is obvious tje owners take good care and pride of their property. The owners responded immediately to any questions I had were super friendly and nice. Needless to say, when we come back to Seattle, we are planning our trip dates around the availability of this home! Our trip just would not have been the same at another property!

This property was phenomenal. We were greeted from the moment we exited our vehicle with the sweet scents of flowers in bloom. The yard is an amazing garden oasis, and the owners have even gone to the trouble of labeling many of their numerous varieties of plants. The home is tucked into a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, directly next to a school. While we did not end up having time to enjoy a game of tennis, it was a neat perk to have courts right next door. Inside, the decor perfectly compliments the mid-century mod vibes of the house, which is in great condition. The kitchen was well-stocked and met our needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable, and having space to spread out made this a very relaxing stay.

We loved our stay. There were 6 adults for Christmas week. We were able to cook a holiday meal in the well appointed kitchen. If we needed anything or had any questions, the owners responded right away. And bonus, there is a pickle ball court next door. We used it and had a ball! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this property north of Seattle. Perfect spot for our group of 5 while seeing city sights for a couple days. I wish we had more time here just to enjoy the outdoor space- the yard is amazing from a fellow gardener’s perspective! Beds were comfortable, lots of hot water for showers, laundry room was great, kitchen well stocked. Definitely would stay here again!

Let's start by saying WOW, this property is so beautiful and relaxing. Everything about this home is just perfect for vacation. We visit Seattle and surrounding areas often and this is probably one of my all time favorite places. Communication was great, all the rooms are a great size and very comfy beds. We would highly recommend!

Our recent stay was delightful. The home has plenty of natural light, including 2 large skylights. Beautiful plants and trees were blooming and even labeled-the views from every room were just gorgeous. The house is very accessible and would be good for all ages. Multiple outdoor seating and decks for outside entertainment; we didn’t use the gas grill that was thoughtfully provided. Located close to local restaurants and the new light rail station at Shoreline north is another bonus. AC was appreciated in the warm temps.

Very nice stay. The house was very nice and well equipped. Plenty of dishes and bowls. Nice gas range for cooking. The beds were great with plenty of good pillows. The hosts were very responsive even though we did not need much. The house was mid century modern with appropriate furniture. There were two nice gas fireplaces to take the chill off. Great stay. We will definitely use this again.
