Very nice lake home!There are kayaks provided and paddle boards.The water at Hyco Lake is extremely clear and clean.Catfish and perch were biting when fishing from the dock.Great family memories were made.

Overall, the property was good and we enjoyed our stay, especially the outdoor amenities. The fire pit was a great highlight, and there was plenty of wood available. Fishing at the lake was also very enjoyable.However, there were a few issues that should be addressed for future guests. There were several spider webs around the property, and the leaves could have been blown prior to our arrival. Most importantly, the knobs on the gas stove appeared to be mislabeled or malfunctioning. Even when the knobs were in the “off” position, gas continued to run, and we could smell it in the kitchen. Two of the knobs needed to be turned past the off position to fully shut the gas off, which is a safety concern. Additionally, the master bedroom was missing a remote.With a few improvements, this could easily be an excellent stay.
