Great home at the end of a canal. Easy walking distance to public beach and boat ramp. Everything we needed was available in this lovely updated open concept home with large screened in porch and side deck! There was even a private dock. Loved the eclectic mix of furnishings! Hostess was very responsive and would recommend this property if you are looking for an off the grid relaxing vacation!

This property is excellent! It was the perfect getaway we needed for Christmas this year. We enjoyed the location, the tranquility, the amenities and the fire table in the screened in balcony. It felt like a real home away from home. We loved the decor too, very beachy! We will plan a summer vacation here too! Thank you Tammy for hosting us!

I like places like this where you can walk outside your door and you're next to the water with a dock. The home was nicely put together with a good layout. A lot of things in the cabinets and drawers provided that aren't normally at a rental. Clean. My wife is more of a luxury type and didn't care for it. So if you're the ritz carlton type you won't enjoy it so much. But if you want to visit a water community and want to relax, fish and enjoy a good time off in a clean beautiful area, you'll really like it.

Our family needed a change of scenery from our typical Thanksgiving, so we decided to visit family on the Gulf! Rather than cramming 2 families together, we rented this property. It was perfect! We had a dock to fish from, a screened porch to watch the sunrise, plenty of room to spread out and relax... it was great. The property was easy to get to, clean and had everything we needed.

This is a beautiful, well appointed vacation rental perfect for families or couples. The location was a 6-8 minute walk from the beach and is located right on the canal for great boat access. The owners are very nice and responsive and really go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Everyone in my family enjoyed the open space and the incredibly comfortable accommodations!

Beautiful and comfortable home--lovely decor with comfortable seating... we spent most of the day on the water but enjoyed restful evenings at the house. The boat slip and easy walk made loading and unloading the boat easy... the place to clean the fish by the boat slip was great! The shower head in the master bath Was so good I am looking to replace mine with it. Wish we had been able to stay longer! I'd definitely go back!

This was our 10th year for our annual fishing trip and we decided to try out saltwater. This house was so great. Very clean and spacious. We loved the decor. The neighbors were super friendly. We kayak fished all around the bay and brought fish home. This is great for people who like vacations without all the touristy stuff everywhere. About a 15 minute walk to the beach access. The owners even left us a goodie basket with chips, nuts, and chips. We are already planning next years trip! 1 recommendation. If you are new to the area, talk to neighbors about the tide and the boat channels so you dont get stuck in the bay.

Perfect place for a perfect weekend getaway. This was one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in. The back porch was so large and comfortable. The layout of the home is so comfortable and the rooms are huge. Master bathroom was gorgeous and good for anyone with mobility issues. Food trucks came to the beach area for lunch , which was also a plus. We wanted a comfortable - low key place and we found it! I could go on and on awesome rental!

Well this was a very comfortable and homey place. We played cards outside and enjoyed the sunsets over the water. The kitchen was very nice and they had an area just for computers - all set up. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nice and spacious. We walked the neighborhood, rode bike and also went to the archeological sites in St. Mary's / Wakulla. I would come back here any day and recommend to others.

I am a disabled combat vet of 32 years of service with a service dog along with my 3 boys. I informed owner of my K9 and they wanted to charge additional fees. The host was accommodating but ignorant with the understanding of ADA laws/ Florida disability and VRBO policy. Property HOA management and president constantly harassed me because they wanted me to have my service dogs vest on at all times. The manager said I was not disabled and my k9 was not a service dog because her vest was not red. House is great and host is great. My boys enjoyed themselves until hoa president attacked them because she believed they were riding skateboards. I left 4 days early because of the discrimination. If you are looking for a Villages type property, this is for you.

Another great 3 days spent with a couple of elderly parents and an uncle (fishing partner). The owners meet our expectations in every way with a clean, nice place with everything we could need for a couple of days away. I will mention again, the owner, Tammy could not have been more accommodating in working with our reservation when it was thought I might have a health issue that could affect our schedule. The thoughtfulness and genuine concern she expressed for me showed me an owner that had true concern for the experience her quest have. If my plans continue to allow me to visit Shell Point a couple of times a year you can bet those trips will be arranged around the availability of her unit. Thank you again, Chuck

3rd time staying here and continue to be impressed with conditiions of the home. Just days after a major storm and the home was in perfect shape. Tammy, the host, is one of the best I've associated with in my use of VRBO. Hope to do it again soon.

This place is spectacular! The location is perfect. The boat dock was very convenient. The house is well equiped, clean, cheery, and comfortable. Beds are super comfy. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We will be returning!

The property was super ni e and well-appointed. The pool was nice. The only issue we had was its remote location. Nice beaches were an hour drive. Shopping and most restaurants were 30 minutes away. It would be perfect for those interested in fishing. It was just personal preference for us. But the property itself was very nice and i. A good neighborhood.

Great home at the end of a canal. Easy walking distance to public beach and boat ramp. Everything we needed was available in this lovely updated open concept home with large screened in porch and side deck! There was even a private dock. Loved the eclectic mix of furnishings! Hostess was very responsive and would recommend this property if you are looking for an off the grid relaxing vacation!

Our family needed a change of scenery from our typical Thanksgiving, so we decided to visit family on the Gulf! Rather than cramming 2 families together, we rented this property. It was perfect! We had a dock to fish from, a screened porch to watch the sunrise, plenty of room to spread out and relax... it was great. The property was easy to get to, clean and had everything we needed.

This is a beautiful, well appointed vacation rental perfect for families or couples. The location was a 6-8 minute walk from the beach and is located right on the canal for great boat access. The owners are very nice and responsive and really go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Everyone in my family enjoyed the open space and the incredibly comfortable accommodations!

My husband and I and my sister and her husband had a wonderful time at this getaway. The property was comfortable and very clean. It was nicely furnished with coffee and tea, snacks, condiments, etc. We felt very safe and met many friendly neighbors. The host and hostess were very good to work with. They responded quickly to our questions. We strongly recommend this propery.

Perfect place for a perfect weekend getaway. This was one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in. The back porch was so large and comfortable. The layout of the home is so comfortable and the rooms are huge. Master bathroom was gorgeous and good for anyone with mobility issues. Food trucks came to the beach area for lunch , which was also a plus. We wanted a comfortable - low key place and we found it! I could go on and on awesome rental!

Well this was a very comfortable and homey place. We played cards outside and enjoyed the sunsets over the water. The kitchen was very nice and they had an area just for computers - all set up. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nice and spacious. We walked the neighborhood, rode bike and also went to the archeological sites in St. Mary's / Wakulla. I would come back here any day and recommend to others.
