This was a great stay with great accommodations. Was real nice being able to use the charcoal grill on the back deck and relax. Close to Greenville and multiple activities around.

This is our third time staying here. The location is great, you feel completely away from it all. The on-property hiking trails are great, plus you're within 30 minutes of so many state parks and lakes.

The cabin is very well laid out and comfortable. There is a deck with a chiminea and a woodstove and plenty of wood. It is on a large property with trails. Best of all it is quiet, and there is no light pollution, a rarity and a treat these days.

Beautiful setting. Remote and quiet. The cabin is beyond comfortable and neat. Kitchen, bedroom and baths stocked with most essentials like extra towels, bedding, dish/cookware. Deck is spacious surrounded by deep forest as far you can see.

Spectacular in its solitude, "green walls" and birds. Just-right rustic, ie, simple but elegant in its own way with amenities that matter to me: wifi, washer/dryer, and windows with screens -- and all the amenities that scores of unspoiled, beloved acres provide.

We had a great time at the cabin and enjoyed exploring the nearby State Parks. Loved the deck with rocking chairs surrounded by beautiful trees and the sounds of nature.

Everything was just as listed and portrayed in photos. We stayed 4 nights, and had to commute 12 miles to another site where we had weekend obligations, so we were not able to just sit and enjoy being in the woods. Several marked hiking trails are on the property, a couple of which begin at the cabin. Everything was clean, and we were allowed to have our little dog. The cabin is .4 miles off a paved road at the end of a dirt/gravel driveway, so it takes a few minutes to get in and out. A car with decent clearance is recommended. We would stay here again!

Wonderful private property! Nothing but the sound of nature & well maintained trials make hiking just a walk out the front door! We will definitely be back when we are in need of more nature therapy!!

This was a nice clean cabin. Our internet was out when we got there but the owner resolved that fairly promptly. It was very clean. It does allow pets and I think that means mostly dogs. We had to bring our cat with us and he stayed under the bed most days and was scared and fussed most nights. I think he thought dog was going to come get him in the night. Other then that all was well. Not much to do there, though. Cabin is cute !

We loved our time here. Nice and clean, very peacefule. We had a fantastic stay and definitely would love to book again. My kids enjoyed the woods, and I much enjoyed coffee on the lovely back porch on the crisp mornings. You cannot find a more lovely rest from busy life!

I stayed in the cabin for just under two weeks, and it was an awesome place to stay! It was quiet and peaceful, and town was just a couple minutes away. The place was clean and fully stocked, and the host was super helpful for the few questions I did have. Overall, Id definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect spot for us to pause and reset. I really enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking my coffee and listening to the birds! The hosts were fabulous and the space was clean. We would love to stay here again

This was our 4th time staying at the cabin and we love it! It’s the perfect place to get away from life for awhile and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. The owners are super people and the cabin is always clean and well kept. There’s plenty to do on the property and at the nearby state parks. Great place to just chill out!

This property is as close to perfect as can be. Peaceful, surrounded by beautiful forest and wonderful walking trails, my husband and I completely enjoyed the opportunity to unwind from hectic work schedules and just let our dogs wander and play on this secluded property. They especially enjoyed playing and splashing in the creek! The cabin is just right, super clean and comfortable, with everything you need. David and Kerry are superb hosts, so friendly and helpful, the kind of people you’re grateful to have met. We left two hours ago and were already looking at our calendars for another trip. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by nature, don’t look any further than David and Kerry’s wonderful cabin in the forest.

This is a lovely little hideaway in the woods—very peaceful, as advertised. The location is great to access places like Table Rock State Park and also Greenville. The cabin isn’t anything super fancy, but it’s got everything you need in a serene setting.

The directions to the house given by host were clear and the path to the house was well marked. The house sat in a wooded area and was exactly as described. It had the privacy I was seeking, but was within half an hour of Table Rock State Park and local restaurants when I wanted to venture out. Waking up in the morning, I loved seeing the sun shine through the stained glass window in the bedroom. The rest of the house had great local art, from quilt hangings to drawings. I slept well in the comfortable queen-sized bed. Many thoughtful details were included, such as extra blankets, coffee, shampoo, and other things. I would definitely stay here again.

We have used two major rental platforms for years and this was our favorite place. Well appointed cabin in quiet peaceful surroundings. Thoughtfully designed cabin and property. Enjoyed nature. Cabin seems larger than it is, Good natural light and high ceilings

Great cabin in wooded area. Bed is very comfortable. Walking paths are great. Quiet with beautiful nature all around. Cabin had everything we needed for cooking, enough towels and washcloths. Favorite place and we have done plenty of rentals during retirement years.

A beautiful cabin located remotely in the woods but still close enough to drive into town quickly. It was quiet, spacious and absolutely the perfect getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed and bed was super comfortable. Thanks for an amazing experience as we welcomed in the New Year!

I had a great week at this property, even though work was super busy and I didn't really have a chance to relax. Thankfully, this simple cabin helped me to relax as much as possible. Everything you need is here and this cabin would be great in the fall. I would love to have hiked some. It is very private!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our short stay. The hosts are incredibly nice, and they were very attentive. They made sure we had extra water for the storm rolling through. Highly recommend.

I made a scheduling error but host was super helpful and flexible. He unfroze the pipes after we, being floridians, didnt drip the faucets overnight. Very nice and hardworking. Just a great experience.

We loved the cabin! We loved the beautiful property and the trails on the property! The owner put in great effort to clear and mark them well. He also provided so much great detailed information about everything. We would also recommend the Street Tacos restaurant in Pickens-delicious food. We would love to see how beautiful this area is in the Spring! We highly recommend staying at this peaceful cabin in the woods!

First time staying at this property. David made the booking and check-in process very smooth. Cabin even nicer than described. Also, a perfect location if you plan to hike Table Rock, Pinnacle Mountain, Sassafras Mountain, Caesar's Head, Jones Gap, etc. Also had the opportunity to walk over the owners' property on their well-maintained and clearly blazed trails. Very pretty piece of land/timberland. As nice as the cabin is, I found myself on the deck for most of the time that we were onsite. Sunsets featured barred owls and horned owls calling, as well as whippoorwills. Lightning bugs came out after dark, and the stars were spectacular. We enjoyed the cast iron chimenea on the deck one night. David has plenty of cut and seasoned wood. Also, a perfect location if you plan to hike Table Rock, Pinnacle Mountain, Sassafras Mountain, Caesar's Head, Jones Gap, etc. Also had the opportunity to walk over the owners' property on their well-maintained and clearly blazed trails. Very pretty piece of land/timberland. As nice as the cabin is, I found myself on the deck for most of the time that we were onsite. Sunsets featured barred owls and horned owls calling, as well as whippoorwills. Lightning bugs came out after dark, and the stars were spectacular. We enjoyed the cast iron chimenea on the deck one night. David has plenty of cut and seasoned wood. Everything you'd need in the kitchen, and the bed was perfect (especially after a couple of 12-15 mile days of hiking). Overall, an outstanding experience with this property. First, David was a wonderful host! The communication was great! He cares about his property and his guests, and that is so appreciated. We loved the fact that it was tucked back out of the way in a natural setting, making us feel like we were in a tree house when waking up and when sitting on the back deck. Everything we needed was provided for us. If you need a "refresh", this is a great place to do it! We only wish we had more time there. We'll be back! Thank you, David, for an awesome stay! :)

This is our third time staying here. The location is great, you feel completely away from it all. The on-property hiking trails are great, plus you're within 30 minutes of so many state parks and lakes.

The cabin is very well laid out and comfortable. There is a deck with a chiminea and a woodstove and plenty of wood. It is on a large property with trails. Best of all it is quiet, and there is no light pollution, a rarity and a treat these days.

We saw the ad and it looked like our kind of place - quiet, quaint, beautiful views of nature. We weren’t disappointed. We slept well, hiked the nearby trails and those at Table Rock, and several in NC. Experienced the General Store cafe in Pumpkintown and found several interesting places in Downtown Pickens.

The directions to the house given by host were clear and the path to the house was well marked. The house sat in a wooded area and was exactly as described. It had the privacy I was seeking, but was within half an hour of Table Rock State Park and local restaurants when I wanted to venture out. Waking up in the morning, I loved seeing the sun shine through the stained glass window in the bedroom. The rest of the house had great local art, from quilt hangings to drawings. I slept well in the comfortable queen-sized bed. Many thoughtful details were included, such as extra blankets, coffee, shampoo, and other things. I would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin in wooded area. Bed is very comfortable. Walking paths are great. Quiet with beautiful nature all around. Cabin had everything we needed for cooking, enough towels and washcloths. Favorite place and we have done plenty of rentals during retirement years.

We love this place! Easy to find and check in. It's secluded and our dogs love listening to nature. We brought charcoal and used the grill, then sat on the back porch and listened to music. The kitchen has everything you would need and there's even a hairdryer and straightener. The trails on the property are well maintained and you can do a short hike or combine them for something longer. We will keep going back!

I had a great week at this property, even though work was super busy and I didn't really have a chance to relax. Thankfully, this simple cabin helped me to relax as much as possible. Everything you need is here and this cabin would be great in the fall. I would love to have hiked some. It is very private!

Beautiful setting. Remote and quiet. The cabin is beyond comfortable and neat. Kitchen, bedroom and baths stocked with most essentials like extra towels, bedding, dish/cookware. Deck is spacious surrounded by deep forest as far you can see.

Cozy, comfortable and much more spacious than we anticipated yet very secluded. Perfect for 2 but can easily accommdate up to 4 without being cramped. Middle of nowhere feel but not more than 15 minutes from anything you might need. The hiking trails are great and beautifully marked so no veering off. We took our dogs and with a little creativity were able to keep them contained on the back deck with no fear of them running off into the woods. A real plus for sure. We went for rest and relaxtion and achieved our goal. Would definitely like to return at some point if we are able. We are in our 70's and appreciated the fact that there are many grab bars in place. Thank God we don't need them yet but you surely never know. I prepared all our meals there and felt kitchen was perfectly functional. Owners are great and overall this was a wonderful little getaway for us. Perfect for nature lovers !

I had a wonderful time at this home. I loved that everything was labeled and detailed. There was no guessing which switch went to which light, how to turn on the tv, or even lock the doors. I also hiked two trails on the property and found them better labeled than some of the state park hikes I did this weekend. It is wonderful that I got to experience the serenity of the acreage. Outside of those things the house would fit 4 people (there is a bedroom with a half bath and an office with a futon that would fit two people). There was a grill and a place for a small fire. Everything was clean and well stocked and the kitchen had a new stove and fridge. It was perfect for my solo trip but it would also be perfect for a couple more a small family of 4 (there are board games for the kids). I even got a visit by a cardinal as soon as I arrived, just looking in on me, so the provided binoculars were a great addition.
