Sunapee Lake & Mountain Views, 6 min. to ski base!

We chose this home for our annual family vacation – two grandparents, our two children and their spouses, and our five grandchildren. Eleven of us in all and we had plenty of space. Alyssa, our host, was quick to respond to questions and very helpful.The views are truly exceptional. The kitchen was roomy and easy to work in, and opened out to the living/dining area so you didn’t feel isolated while cooking. We had separate bathrooms for each family unit. The “bunk room” was perfect for our four grandsons – 3 brothers and a cousin. They loved it!Our boys are very active and spent time playing whiffle ball baseball outside on the front lawn. The game room in the basement (plus the toy closet) also provided hours of entertainment -- ping pong tournaments, foosball competition, and shuffleboard. If we had been “stuck inside” with inclement weather (we weren’t!), I think the kids would have been fine playing in the game room for hours on end. The hot tub is right outside the basement game room and was another well enjoyed activity.The boys were eager to fish and the proximity to Mount Sunapee State Park was great; we spent several afternoons there swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. We also visited the Mount Sunapee Resort for hiking and mountain biking. There were challenging mountain bike trails accessible via the ski lift and also a mountain bike skills park, so there was something appropriate for everyone.Our stay at Alyssa’s beautiful home was wonderful!

This property is exactly as shown in pics. Gorgeous views and plenty of room for our big family, we loved it. Game room and toys are an added bonus for children and adults. Hot tub was enjoyed by all while taking in that beautiful view. Kitchen is very well stocked and easy to work in Can't wait to return!

This year our family decided on spending a week in New Hampshire. We'd never been and we 3 families live in 3 different parts of the country. We love to explore and engage with the area and we loved it. Hanging at Sunapee Lk. Hiking Sunapee Mt to Lake Solitude. White Mts to see The Flume Gorge. One day in Portsmouth and Kinnery Maine. The house was a great location and perfectly appointed. It was great having the basement for the kids to play games and watch a movie one night.

This was the perfect setting for our mountain vacation. The home was luxurious yet not fussy. The view from the deck was spectacular, and the grill was much appreciated. The kitchen is also fully stocked and ready for meal preparation for lots of people. We enjoyed hiking nearby Mount Sunapee and also paddle boarding on the lake. We would love to return next summer!
