Great house! We basically had a private beach because we were so far away from the public access spots.The deck was so nice (especially having a place to eat out there and rocking chairs for everyone.) our dog loved hanging out there. Just be aware if you have small children that the rails are a bit lower than usual. The backyard was such a nice bonus! We will be coming back for sure.

My daughter, son, daughter in law and I all had birthdays Jan.22-30, with two of us celebrating decade birthdays. We really enjoyed our stay: the young kids, aged 3-9 loved the beach, and despite the chilly air, they loved the sand and water being so close to the house: The adults loved it too!

We have been visiting Atlantic Beach for over 30 years for an annual beach stay and family gathering. The Blount house was wonderful for our family- plenty of room to spread out and well appointed baths and bedrooms. The kitchen was great- a big space where several could work on our family meals. It was well supplied with cutlery, cookware, equipment, and spices. We could tell that the house was well-loved by the owners.
