We weren’t able to get in and had to go thru the garage which we found out doesn’t lock so anyone could enter the house. The house was musty and smelly, dog/pet hair everywhere! Dirty wet towel on bathroom floor and no clean towels in sight. I did finally find wet towels in the dryer. The house did not match the description on the website at all. It was so smelly and dirty we stayed 1 night and found another place. This is more like a frat-boy party rental than a family vacation house. The deck shakes and wobbles if you walk on it and felt very unsafe. We laid a blanket on the couch to sit on it. There was an opened soda on the table when we entered- just so many red flags. Furniture outside was not as pictured. The “lighted walkway” would have been beautiful except half the lights didn’t work or were knocked over. My kids put a sheet over their bed and slept ontop because there was so much hair and dander. The game room was smelly,musty and dirty. No felt on the poker table but there was crusty food stuck on it. The pool table was covered in hair and so uneven balls roller back to where they started. The foosball table legs were extremely loose & unsteady. The renters permit posted was expired. The owner said he could refund 30%/night and that it must’ve been the cleaners because they had people leave the same day we checked in. I should note we got there 45 minutes early and there was no sign of anyone there cleaning or leaving. I would never go back.

When we first got there a landscape crew was still there. Not a big deal except for one of them very loudly announced that one of our doors didn’t lock. I was very unhappy to find out the code to get into the house is extremely easy to guess. This is a huge safety issue. The “steps” to get into the house are poorly arranged boulders that are a broken ankle waiting to happen. All the doors were hard to open/close. The deck felt very unsafe. It was moving all around when we were walking on it. There is a board that is lifted right in front of the back door that one of us tripped on and nearly broke her neck. The lower level was musty and smelled horrible. We found a random puddle near the back door. The most dangerous thing was a very large tree branch that fell from one of several dead trees that are in the outdoor seating area. One of our party was outside when it fell but thankfully was not in that area at the time. Checkout is at 11:00 but what we assume is a cleaning crew showed up in a car and sat there and watched us around 10:00. I would not recommend this property at all
