The accomadations were excellent and hot tub was hot and ready to go. Close enough to town and remote enough to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet. Will stay again in the future.

We booked the Ark Bunkhouse for our anniversary and really enjoyed the experience. The bunkhouse is 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, but feels very private. We enjoyed the balcony as well as the bench swing outside. We spent most of our time indoors in the upstairs part of the house, and the whole house was cozy and clean. (We did encounter some tiny bugs which came in from outside, but that's really unavoidable with a cabin in the Texas springtime). We also had the amazing experience of seeing some baby lambs being born during our stay, and got to chat with Mike and his son. Additionally, Mike had a bottle of wine inside when we checked in and even gave us some eggs before we left. Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again. It was a perfect getaway!

We loved how quiet the area was. The cleanliness was amazing and the rental felt very “homey”. There are no complaints at all. We had such a wonderful time.

We adored this property, and we would love to stay here again! Perfect property for a pair of couples, our friends stayed in the other house and we had a blast!
