12 Bedroom Lake House, 150 ft Lakefront, 1 Acre, Beach, Ski Elk Mountain Poconos

Not every day on vacation brings perfect sunshine, and that was our experience visiting this beautiful home. Despite very unseasonable weather, our entire crew had a wonderful time, though. We had a mix of families and participants from ages 5-58 and there was lots of room for everyone. There were lots of visitor friendly aspects including lots of beach towels, hooks all over to hang things up, an ice maker, and two (gloriously two) dishwashers and ovens. Everyone also had plenty of space for board games, group meals, and we played a lot of pool and foos ball, watched movies, read and relaxed. When the weather allowed, we all enjoyed the fireside and the property was just right for yard games, ghosts in the grave yard, and hide and seek. The little kids loved having a playground/swingset on site as well. This turned out to be a great vacation. The owner/manager is extremely nice and took great care of us, including notifying us of a local power outage (which the backup generator handled without missing a beat). Would return!

This property was amazing for our extended family stay. There was plenty of space to stretch out and do your own thing and then come together for meals. Kitchen was ample size to be able to cook for our large party. Paddle boards and kayaks were a great addition and lots of fish were caught. Would definitely recomment this for your extended families stay!

Great house, great outside space. Everyone loved it! Every summer, my family gets together and takes a family vacation. There are 17 of us, ages 4-75. We chose this house this year. It was huge, lots of space, inside and outside. The 3 teenagers loved the kayaks and paddleboards, some of them had never been on either one. They picked it up easily and were experts by the end of our stay. Of course, some of the adults tried them, but their success on them was very disappointing. We had 2 younger children, they LOVED the playset. And my brothers and nephews, well let's just say they were ecstatic! Even though we had a couple of rainy days, you could look towards the dock and there they were! And the fishing was great! The teenagers got into it, and they were catching fish also. This is a great property with plenty of room, if you want to be alone. If not, there are lots of family time spots. There were a couple of glitches, but Julia handled them very quickly. Beds were comfortable and the internet speed was great! The 2 washers and dryers were awesome!!! Would definitely rent this property again!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is even better than the pictures and the host Julia was excellent.

Julia is a fabulous host, so kind and responsive. The house(s) are lovely, laid out perfectly for a large gathering. The location is beautiful, on a lovely lake just ten minutes from the lovely downtown Montrose. We have stayed twice at the house and plan to do it again for our next northern reunion.
