Cozy Cabin w/ Hot Tub, Fireplace, WiFi, Dogs

The place was clean, view was beautiful and decor was pretty. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and cooking meals in our cabin. Helen and lots of cool hiking trails are only a short drive away. Loved that the tv swiveled so you could watch from the living room or the bed. Did not use the heart shaped tub but I liked the idea of it. I wish we had gotten some firewood because the fireplace was nice. The only unusual thing was that one of the neighbors had a rooster and dogs that were noisy sometimes as early as 4am. Regardless, I would definitely stay there again.

There were bugs in the windowsill, also was hair in the sink and on the countertops. When I responded to the rating of the cleanliness being a one, I got an automatic response of thank you for rating the cleanliness….No solutions offered and no cleaning supplies or mop, available to clean up the mess ourselves.We had to purchase cleaning supplies to make it clean.Internet was not readily available on the way up from our service provider. We suggest downloading off-line maps to help get around the area.The next day we were offered a late checkout and attempted to accept it when we were on our vacation. Service did not allow us to complete the transaction and we were told that we could not accept it after we got back to the cabin and had Wi-Fi available.If there is an owner of this place that trusts vacasa to manage it I feel bad for them.The bed was clean from what I could tell. There was a cap missing on the hot tub on the screened in porch and the jetted tub advertises inside had an inefficient faucet that took over one hour to fill the tub above the jets.We had a great time exploring the area and it was very beautiful.

Has a lot of great amenities but desperately needs some TLC to make things work properly. The bath tub takes around two hours to fill halfway, the jet increaser knobs on hot tub are stuck, the pool table tilts, the tv swerves and knocks over the wifi router. So many good things in this house that have problems the owners don’t seem interested in fixing.

There was hair in the sink and on the counters in the bathroom. There were bugs in all the windows on the inside. Clearly not cleaned well. Thankfully the bedding seemed to be clean. I sent pictures to vacasa and they didn’t care. I then asked about late check out because we got a late start they said it wasn’t available. Then I got an email saying it was the following morning. We had spotty service and I was unable to complete that process and when I reached out to vacasa they said that it was not available and they did not see where an email had been sent to me even though I sent them a screenshot. The hot tub was missing a cover for the basin where the chemicals go. The jetted tub advertised had strange plumbing- the faucet and water pressure was not large enough to fill the tub. It took an hour and a half to get the water up to test the jets….. I booked through Vrbo, and found that it was managed by vacasa. I would not rent with vacasa again because it seems they take customers money ( and owners to manage a property) and then do not follow through with good customer service or care about satisfaction. The area we stayed in was very pretty.

This place is pretty perfect for a quick getaway. It’s definitely more geared towards couples (hence the heart shaped jacuzzi lol) so it’s great for couples. It’s very close to Helen and some cute places. The TV is on a rotating plate so you can watch it on the couch or in bed, which was super nice. As others have mentioned, if you do decide to utilize the heart jacuzzi, it will take about an hour-hour and a half to fill above the jets, so plan accordingly haha. The hot tub was a plus, too. It’s not five stars because the top blanket on the bed had some…questionable stains/marks and there were random hairs on the bathroom floor and around the jacuzzi. The neighbors are also closer than I thought they would be and one of them was very loud, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, for the price it is pretty good and we enjoyed it!

Arrived to heat set so low, cabin was freezing. Turned up small heating unit in one corner of cabin. It never did fully come on and made high pitched noise all night. Found a small space heater and lit the fireplace. It was still cold by morning. The outdoor hot tub was at 56 degrees and never heated. Called Vacasa. No one came to cabin as promised. Tried to use indoor jacuzzi. Not enough hot water to fill. Faucet does not completely turn off so it runs next to bed all night. TV picture went black randomly while sound stayed on. Killed at least 15 roaches in living room / kitchen area. Called Vacasa a 2nd time. Still didn't hear back. Left with 2 days left on our reservation. Stopped by local Vacasa office. Employee there called Manager and we still have not heard from anyone.

Ceiling fans didn’t work, blinds were torn up throughout downstairs, hot tub which was my reason for renting was FILTHY with a wad of hair and leaves in the bottom. Attempts to contact property management were futile. I emailed pictures of filth and concerns and never received a response.

A very nice place for couples. Love the location as it's very quiet. Be careful with low riding vehicles as it's a gravel drive and was a bit washed out from recent rains. SUVs shouldn't have any issues, though. The hot tub was fantastic. We used it everyday we were there. The heart shape jacuzzi tub on the other hand, was a bit different. While the tub itself was nice, the owner had a sink faucet attached instead of a bathtub faucet. It literally took an hour to get the water high enough to cover the Jets with both of us in there. Had no one been in the tub it would have taken an hour and a half as we calculated. So if you plan on using the tub make sure you have plenty of time. Also, there was no lighting around the tub. The only light was the lamp from the end table or the overhead ceiling fan over the bed. The bathroom is very small but usable. However it really needs an exhaust fan as it gets very hot when taking showers. You cannot leave the door open as the door hits up against the tub and covers most of the tub. We open the window to help exhaust the heat. The kitchen is very small and has no counter space and no cabinets space. So I would imagine cooking would be a chore. We didn't try it because of how small it was. Also there is no lighting above the sink which makes it very dark over there. The only light you get is an under counter light where the coffee maker is located and the light from the microwave above the stove. Any other lighting comes from the ceiling fan in the living room area. While the small Cafe style table and chairs is a nice addition, due to lighting, it wasn't as usable as it could have been. Those two chairs as well as the couch in the living room are your only seating options other than two chairs on the deck and the bed. The inclusion of a pool table effectively in the kitchen is an odd choice. We essentially used it as a table. By the wear on its surface it seems others have done the same. Personally, I would remove the pool table and put an Island bar in its place. This would allow seating as well as a place to put your food. Just a thought. Overall it's a nice place and I would probably stay there again. However, it can definitely use some improvements.

The cabin was beautiful and just the right size for us! Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the pool table was great fun too. Saw deer every morning from the back porch while having coffee. So relaxing. The hot tub wasn't heating up when we arrived so I called VACASA office the next morning and they came out early afternoon to fix it. Great service! Cabin was close to everything we wanted to do - perfect location.

Overall this cabin was great! We enjoyed playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The water pressure to fill up the jacuzzi was very low, so expect to wait close to an hour for the water to fill above the jets. We would definitely come back.

Very clean

Everything looked okay on arrival. Found trash on the floor, in the trash can still and the toilet wasn’t flushed from a previous use. Once we got unloaded checked the hot tub(the main reason for booking this cabin) to find out that it was broken. I called and was told there was nothing they could do. Place has potential to be a great stay.

No problems. The kitchen appliances were basically like-new and the cleanliness was good. The kitchen is indeed kind of dimly lit and there is not too much counter space.

Pet smell , Bed bugs , spiders

Your nestled back in the woods and it was very relaxing hearing the sounds of nature. My husband loved having his morning coffee out on the screened back porch every morning. Cabin was extremely clean and bed was super comfy. We will definitely book again in the future!

Very nice Would be nicer of pool table was an island or dinner table. Also a larger tv would be better .

The cabin was very well equipped albeit limited in counter space. It was comfortable and just enough for me and my husband.

We loved the feel and lay out of this cabin. The screened porch with beautiful views of the trees was perfect. The location was also very convenient for our favorite hikes. The cabin was the perfect size for our small weekend getaway into the rolling hills of GA. However, the cabin was very poorly lit and needs some upgrades in our opinion.

The only crux of this property was that walnuts, acorns, and pinecones would bombard the roof and make a very loud gunshot like sound at night, definitely startled us a few times. It would be worthwhile for the surrounding branches over the roof to be pruned off. We loved the home itself, we just didn’t have a full night of sleep due to the noise

Check in was at 4 but place was not ready when I got there after driving 9 hrs from FL. But an hour later once they got it together we enjoyed our stay

We will never rent from this property management company again. We rent a cabin every year and had great experiences with all except this one. when we arrived it was 83 degrees. The cabin was hot and humid. The central air they list is a wall unit in the kitchen. It did not work. Two calls to the property management company and no call back or any assistance at all. The weather changed drastically the next day as it often does in the mountains. The wall unit is an AC/Heater unit. So.. not heat and no A/C. The only heat we had was a small space heater to heat the whole cabin. Using the restroom with the window up at 37 degrees was a treat! No exhaust fan in the restroom so unless you are a very intimate couple you're going to be disappointed. The hot tub cover was disgusting. It is old, torn, full of water and stinks! Took us both to take it off and put it back on. The property management " team" on the phone told me there was no smoking in the cabin ( which neither of us do) when I asked about the cigarette butts on the back porch. BUT, the have a sign in the kitchen to please use the ashtrays, which there were none. The ignition switch on the grill was broken. Had to turn on the gas and stick a match in. The grill is old, nasty and half of the burners do not work. Microwave didn't work correctly. Seriously, just with the $$ that we spent some of these things could have been repaired or replaced. oh... you have to haul all of your trash to their office.Never seen that before

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and it was the perfect little getaway cabin. It was clean and cozy. It offered streaming TV, a pool table, and a hot tub. The TV gave plenty of options for movies and shows. The hot tub was located on the back porch with a bbq grill (didnt use the gril during our stay). The hot tub was very clean and offered a great wooded view. The pool table was a nice addition, although it looked like it needed a good deep cleaning. The neighbors were not too close although you could see them through the woods. The fireplace was also a nice addition. The bed was very comfy. The additional heater offered in the home was a great touch too. We definitely used it. The house had great hot water. My husband and I took a shower back to back and didn't run out of hot water. Checking and out was very easy as well. It was the perfect little getaway cabin for us. Only about 10 mins from downtown Helen. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The place was clean. The jacuzzi tub inside has no cold water hooked up to it. Just hot water. The smell of sewage was awful at times. Don't know if it was the one we stayed at or one of the other ones. And last but not least we weren't able to get in until 445pm on check in date. On a minor note...pool table looks and is rough. The cabin was great. The gravel road down to the cabin is rough for motorcycles but managable. We would rent from again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It could have had more dishes/silverware provided but overall we had everything we needed. The turn to the cabin could have been marked better as it was dark and there was just a small sign.

The cabin sits off a gravel road…almost hidden from view of other cabins. Sitting in the stillness of the morning hours sipping my coffee was the perfect way to start the day! Close to downtown Helen, Anna Ruby falls…an ideal spot! A great way to relax after a full day in Helen!
