Deck + Grill: Mtn Haven in Stanislaus Nat'l Forest

The location is called grill in its name. The grill was unusable out in the elements, nonstop and had no propane to use whatsoever. I am also disabled and chose this location because of the advertisement for the hot tub was very upset to see that the hot tub has been completely removed but it is still on the amenities listing. If you use the upstairs shower, it starts to flood in the living room.Middle area near the stairs which is insane to me. The bathtub also, all of them are too slick with no guardrail and my friend who is staying with me at the location fell and damaged their shoulder.Because it was so slick, and there's no guardrails whatsoever. The curtain in the movie room is ripped completely in half, so it does not block out any sun and you cannot adjust it. The coffee maker is also completely broken and only will pittle out a little bit of water down coffee does not actually work. I tried to contact the host as soon as I noticed the hot tub missing.When I first showed up, and their number is completely disconnected.This is not a good host and not a good place to stay.Would not recommend.

So disappointed! Property is called Deck and Grill, well the grill is not covered and left to the elements and no propane. Property is very dated, stove and oven were dirty, shower does not drain properly (ankle deep water int he shower). So much differed maintenance. Fireplace does not work, no hot tub (mentioned in the listing). Just don’t go.

Poorly maintained

Suffice it to say that we will not ever be returning. I made a list of the issues, which I will share with the owners if they care to reach out. There are safety concerns about the wiring and the electrical service that should be addressed as well as a rodent problem that future guests need to be aware of. Also be aware that the deck creaks loudly when my 120 lb wife walks on it. If you use the oven and want it to heat faster: turn off as many lights as possible (scary). I would like to compliment the photographer. The photos are beautiful.

It was a nice home, clean with lots of room. Two sets of stairs so be aware and the home is not visible from the main road so was bit hard to find. Overall we had a nice time
