The house rental was expensive so our expectations were high. The house was dirty - dirty floorboards, sinks, carpet. There was trash in an open cabinet that no one had thrown away. There were many broken items - e.g. dining room chair, very wobbly bedframe in master bedroom, a doorknob fell out of the door in one of the upstairs bedrooms… Many windows didn’t have screens so we couldn’t open them to let in cool air. There was only one fan to circulate air despite the listing saying there were fans. There was a lot of clutter - bathroom, laundry room… We would never rent this house again.

This property had every single thing we needed all we had to bring was us, clothes, and groceries. The house is in a beautiful and quiet location that isn’t far from town. I was there for residency at school and it was the perfect place to come home to and rest each night. I felt at home and safe. So perfect.

This is the third time we've stayed at this location but this is the first time we had unpaid guests. We caught two mice in a trap that we had to put out and there was evidence that they've been there a while. We noticed pumpkins by the back door which are festive around Halloween but they were obviously mouse food and they found their way into the house. Sorry, but we won't be back.
