Location convenient for us as it was close to our family connection. Looked very impressive initially yet done basics missing and some maintenance could have been managed before our arrival. Air con was excellent and king size beds were luxurious.

I had the most wonderful birthday weekend at Milbrodale lodge and couldn't have asked for a better location. We were totally isolated and had a magical weekend away from the rest of the world. The property had adequate space for us all and the outdoor spaces and views were breathtaking. The property has a fridge and freezer 'room' which was incredibly handy given that we had bought enough bbq food and wine for the whole weekend! The night time was spent star gazing and we were lucky enough to see numerous shooting stars. It was a very hot weekend but the whole house has air conditioning. One side of the house didn't seem to have power on the first night, which didn't really bother us and came on the following day. The only downside is that the grass surrounding the property was too long to go walking in and there is no longer any vineyards to explore (as suggested in the property reviews and information booklet let in the house.) So we were unable to really explore the nature surrounding us.

This property is perfect for a get away with a large group of friends or family. The deck overlooks the beautiful valley, multiple spaces for people, young and old(er) to get together.

House and location was amazing! Only down fall was when we first arrived we had no power. The owner was quick to come check it out and call a electrician but most of our first night we were in the dark. Other then that we had an amazing time. House was tidy, kitchen was great. Very nice and peaceful. We would come back 😊
