We received a fantastic welcome from our host who made sure we got tea even though the kitchen was closed for the night. The next morning we got a fantastic breakfast (it wasn't included and I believe it was good that we specifically ordered it the night before). The hotel has hostel standard, and the well-washed sheets did have a few small stains. Personally I do not mind (better than to throw them away) this at a hostel. The floors and bathroom were very clean indeed. There was a smoke smell in one of the rooms that caused discomfort for one of our party.
