The house smelled like mildew, especially the back bathroom. All of the furniture was hard and uncomfortable. And my family of 4 could not all sit on the couch together, leaving one person to have to sit in small, hard chairs. There were almost no amenities in the kitchen. It did not feel "homey". And after having to pay in full when I booked it, they waited until the day we left for vacation to tell us there was an additional payment due. I had to make the payment and then send an email in order to get the door code while driving on our way there. Their contract stated it would all be handled 2 days prior.

Very clean property. Nice kitchen with many things supplied for cooking.

It was very comfortable, had everything we needed and we could easily find it.

Rented home for family visiting from MI for graduation. Arrived @ 10pm on Thursday and discovered dirty bed sheets on beds. House smelled moldy. Roaches in bathrooms. No bathmats - had to use kitchen towel. Someone pounded on front door at 2am. Springs in couch visible and not usable. Called Hosteeva on Friday and was told “we are not responsible for maintenance or housekeeping”. Amount paid to Hosteeva included 199 plus 30 tax for housekeeping. I’ve rented 10 homes thru VRBO over the years and this one was the absolute worst! Absolutely unacceptable.

First, the house is nice. It is an older home that has been renovated. Would have been good if the windows had been replaced as any noise from the street outside is easily heard. Second, it is stocked somewhat sparsely. Minimum number of towels, minimal utensils for the kitchen, and no supplies for laundry. If you staying for a night or two probably no big deal, but longer it would have been nice to have some of those things. We chose this house as we were dropping our daughter off at college and wanted to be able to cook her one last meal before cafeteria food. We weren’t able to do that. Maybe we expected too much. Overall though, the house is nice.
