Amazing rooms! we stay 2 bedroom familyroom and everything was awesome. Clean rooms, good kitchen and equipment. lovely balcony. The was wine, olive oil, vegetables and fruits in the room and owner was awesome, we felt were welcome. Hotel located on small hill so you have to walk a little, but we loved it :) pool area was also nice,

Absolute gem of a place, great location - quiet & peaceful but a short stroll downhill to the Main Street & several restaurants up the hill too. Beautiful beach a 10 min walk away. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. They organised us taxis to/from the airport & sorted a hire car for us too. Nothing was too much trouble, we were met from the taxi with cool drinks and a very warm welcome which made us feel so special. The apartment was poolside which was great, there were always loungers to relax on & several times we had the pool to ourselves. We had everything we needed in the apartment- plenty of crockery & a nice big fridge/freezer. Huge bonus was having 3 bedrooms as our teenagers no longer want to share & meant there was plenty of space for us all. Daily cleaners were lovely, always smiling & did a fantastic job. We really felt at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat not too far off the beaten track! Thank you so much team Esthisis, we hope to be back someday :-)

The location is perfect. The owner is very sweet. The pool was awesome and beautiful at night. We had the lower ground suite which did not offer the sunset view but higher ones offer magnificent sunset view.

This place is a gem. Perfect destination for families as the suite had lots of space to relax unlike a normal hotel room. The pool was beautiful and the room had a lovely patio that we sat on in the mornings. Kitchen allowed for some breakfast items to be kept for lazy morning starts. The property is easily walkable into town in 5 minutes, which we preferred to being right in town as it would be much noisier - Esthisis was very peaceful and quiet.

Nice and calm place, pool is good temperature all day long. no room service etc. they could do not disturb signs. Everything within the expectations of the hotel. Owner is super friendly and welcoming.

Located close to the beach and resturants in Platanias.About 10 minute walk to beach. Lots of resturants in even closer but up hill so would not suit everyone. Bus to Chania available from main street. Apartment was clean and spacious. It was cleaned and towels changed daily. Nice pool area with sunbeds. Efi and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. Efi was very helpful before our stay and booked us taxi to and from airport. Hope to visit again

Had a lovely 11 night stay at Esthisis. Excellent contact from booking. Arranged taxis for us (no additional charge just normal taxi cost) both ways. Owners mother was on reception and was lovely friendly and great information given. The cleaners were also excellent. Cleaned every day with towels changed twice a day and bedding also changed. Again very friendly whenever we saw them. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Very quiet excellent sun beds. Most comfortable ones I have experienced. Never an issue getting a bed either. Several restaurants all in walking distance less than a couple of minutes were all great. Main Street close with lots of shops and more restaurants. Thank you for a great holiday

Zeer welkomeontvangst. ruim en zeer proper appartement. Dagelijks housekeeping was zalig. Ligging boven de rest van het dorp maakt dat het heerlijk rustig is. Platanias is een goede uitvalsbasis om West Kreta te ontdekken en Chania. Platanias zelf is niet zo interessant, maar heeft voldoende gelegenheden om goed te eten zodat je nooit zelf hoeft te koken

Vi hadde en veldig fin uke på Esthisis! Fint og godt vedlikehold, nærhet til strand og restauranter, men likevel litt tilbaketrukket. Veldig fint bassengområde og leiligheten var av fin størrelse til to. Svært hyggelig og imøtekommende personale. Anbefaler stedet og kan godt tenke oss å dra tilbake.

Hervorragender herzlicher griechischer Empfang von der Frau Efi! Das Zimmer ist in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand, sauber und mit wunderbarem Meerblick. Der Pool war auch sehr schön und sauber! Auf jeden Fall war das Geld und die Zeit wert. Absolute Empfehlung 💕❤️

The stay was overall good. Large rooms and balconies, nice pool and quiet hotel and area. However, the kitchen did not have enough kitchen equipment. The cleaning was bad and it was dusty in many areas, especially under and behind furnitures.

Decent apartment with separate bed room. Everything you need to cook for yourself. Pool area with sun beds was Ok. Nice and accommodating staff. If WiFi would have been better it would have been top notch. Close to several nice restaurants with lovely views and great food

The place is amazing! Close to everything-(beach, close to the best restaurants in town, supermarkets etc.) Additionally the place is very quite and the view is amazing. We had a room with 2 bedrooms and 3 balconies. And the owners are lovely-they helped us with everything-booking taxis,booking a rental car etc. We can strongly recommend this hotel!

The place is amazing! Close to everything-(beach, close to the best restaurants in town, supermarkets etc.) Additionally the place is very quite and the view is amazing. We had a room with 2 bedrooms and 3 balconies. And the owners are lovely-they helped us with everything-booking taxis,booking a rental car etc. We can strongly recommend this hotel!

It was a very nice stay in a quiet place outside Platanias busy main street. It had 2 very good greek restaurant (4.8 and 4.9 on google map) just 1 minutes away. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Only negative was that the freezer was out of order and the stove didt give much heat and cooking took a long time. But we would like to return! 🙂

It was a very nice stay in a quiet place outside Platanias busy main street. It had 2 very good greek restaurant (4.8 and 4.9 on google map) just 1 minutes away. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Only negative was that the freezer was out of order and the stove didt give much heat and cooking took a long time. But we would like to return! 🙂

Absolute gem of a place, great location - quiet & peaceful but a short stroll downhill to the Main Street & several restaurants up the hill too. Beautiful beach a 10 min walk away. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. They organised us taxis to/from the airport & sorted a hire car for us too. Nothing was too much trouble, we were met from the taxi with cool drinks and a very warm welcome which made us feel so special. The apartment was poolside which was great, there were always loungers to relax on & several times we had the pool to ourselves. We had everything we needed in the apartment- plenty of crockery & a nice big fridge/freezer. Huge bonus was having 3 bedrooms as our teenagers no longer want to share & meant there was plenty of space for us all. Daily cleaners were lovely, always smiling & did a fantastic job. We really felt at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat not too far off the beaten track! Vi hadde en veldig fin uke på Esthisis! Fint og godt vedlikehold, nærhet til strand og restauranter, men likevel litt tilbaketrukket. Veldig fint bassengområde og leiligheten var av fin størrelse til to. Svært hyggelig og imøtekommende personale. Anbefaler stedet og kan godt tenke oss å dra tilbake.

Located close to the beach and resturants in Platanias.About 10 minute walk to beach. Lots of resturants in even closer but up hill so would not suit everyone. Bus to Chania available from main street. Apartment was clean and spacious. It was cleaned and towels changed daily. Nice pool area with sunbeds. Efi and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. Efi was very helpful before our stay and booked us taxi to and from airport. Hope to visit again

Had a lovely 11 night stay at Esthisis. Excellent contact from booking. Arranged taxis for us (no additional charge just normal taxi cost) both ways. Owners mother was on reception and was lovely friendly and great information given. The cleaners were also excellent. Cleaned every day with towels changed twice a day and bedding also changed. Again very friendly whenever we saw them. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Very quiet excellent sun beds. Most comfortable ones I have experienced. Never an issue getting a bed either. Several restaurants all in walking distance less than a couple of minutes were all great. Main Street close with lots of shops and more restaurants. Thank you for a great holiday

The location is perfect. The owner is very sweet. The pool was awesome and beautiful at night. We had the lower ground suite which did not offer the sunset view but higher ones offer magnificent sunset view.

Struttura ubicata in una posizione elevata rispetto alla via principale...quindi comoda ma estremamente silenziosa e tranquilla. Platanias è in una pisizione strategica per raggiungere velocemente le splendide spiagge di Falasarna, Balos ed Elafonissi e a 15/20 minuti dalla splendida cittadina di Chania. Per la ristorazione c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta!!! I proprietari della struttura estremamente disponibili e gentili....ci torneremo di sicuro!

Zeer welkomeontvangst. ruim en zeer proper appartement. Dagelijks housekeeping was zalig. Ligging boven de rest van het dorp maakt dat het heerlijk rustig is. Platanias is een goede uitvalsbasis om West Kreta te ontdekken en Chania. Platanias zelf is niet zo interessant, maar heeft voldoende gelegenheden om goed te eten zodat je nooit zelf hoeft te koken

This place is a gem. Perfect destination for families as the suite had lots of space to relax unlike a normal hotel room. The pool was beautiful and the room had a lovely patio that we sat on in the mornings. Kitchen allowed for some breakfast items to be kept for lazy morning starts. The property is easily walkable into town in 5 minutes, which we preferred to being right in town as it would be much noisier - Esthisis was very peaceful and quiet.

The property is high on a hill which gives beautiful views of Platanias. The beach is a walk away and it’s nice not to be situated in the hustle & bustle of the main road! Excellent restaurant choices in the immediate upper Platanias area. Very friendly management also!

Mysiga, rena lägenheter. Fullt utrustat kök och bra ac. Litet men trevligt poolområde. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Ligger nära bra restauranger uppe i gamla stadsdelen och nära till centrum. Har man svårt att gå i backar eller trappor man dock inte boka här. Branta backar upp, särskilt jobbigt när temperaturen går en bit över 30 grader, samt trappor upp till boendet.

This was an extremely pleasant surprise! I travel professionally in aviation, and with friends or solo to explore new areas of the world. By chance, on our last night in beautiful Crete, we started to gravitate towards our next morning departure airport Chania, and found this pearl of an apartment hotel both close to where we had been this morning (the elusive and often hard to access Maleme airport museum), close to family restaurants overlooking Platanias and the sea, and easily accessible by car both arriving early, and for the next morning’s departure. Our host readily answered a kind request by mail, and when showing up we were met with the world’s most hospitable smile, local candy and a packet of local orange juice wrapped in a napkin, a first for us and a simple but very heartfelt welcome. The apartment was fantastic; as far as we were concerned with two floors, a balcony, two bedrooms, one and a half baths, a kitchen and a living room. The pool and pool area were immaculately clean, and with restaurants merely minutes away, and street parking right outside (and a public parking very close), we wouldn’t have had to venture far for what we needed. This turned out to be our rest day after hiking and driving during our stay so far. I’ve made a note about checking this place out again the next time I am in Crete, and will recommend it directly to my personal friends, many whom are vacationing in this area on a yearly basis. Thanks for the hospitality and great stay!

What a lovely place to stay! Up in the older part, near to the best restaurants in my opinion. The owner is the loveliest lady, always had a smile and a wave. Loved the fresh fruit and veg left for our arrival too. The lovely cleaning ladies came in daily always said hello to us. It’s just got a nice vibe. Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of sunbeds but only half have sun, don’t worry though because the other half start to get sun about midday so don’t panic (I did) it’s about a ten min (if that) walk downhill into town (the strip) and about another 3 mins to the beach from there. Getting back is slightly uphill and I did see some people did struggle (mobility issues etc) but it’s not that bad really. I’d definitely come back. Fave restaurants were Mi Mora (4 min walk) down the hill. Agio Klima, literally 3 mins from the apartments if you go down the west facing steps and up that road past Riza and there it is. All in all very happy with our stay. I reckon it would suit couples or older people. I wouldn’t want to take a young family here as I’d worry they are disturbing everyone.
