Cambria Hotel Orlando Airport

This was a great stay. Very convenient location. The bar and pool are great.

Stayed for 2 nights. Close to airport. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only negative was the pool was closed for the 2 days, we were hoping out last full day could be relaxing by the pool with the sun shining down on us.

Overall our stay was fantastic. Close to the airport with shuttle service as early as 5am. Although we are near the airport and highways, the hotel and rooms are quiet with zero notice of car traffic. Fun music is always playing in the lobby which I personally enjoy! The only downsides: the elevator has a terrible odor and they don’t offer complimentary coffee.. $3 a cup BUT to my surprise it’s actually really good coffee. We would definitely stay again!

supposed to provide transportation from airport to hotel and up taking and uber after 50 minutes of waiting it sucks

Very convenient to the airport and Hwy 528. Clean and quiet. Parking seems to be limited.

It took over one hour for the hotel shuttle to pick us up that after two calls to the hotel the first call was 2210 second call was at 2241 driver didn’t show up until 2330 and he not very helpful at All I had stand out side to wait and the temperature was 40 degrees me not happy at all.

Very nice stay! Highly recommend, free parking, the price was great and the hotel is nicer than Aloft @ Lake Bueno Vista that changes $26.00 a night for parking and the room smelled like mildew and funky gym socks! Please give Cambria your money!!

Roaches

There was cockroach in the room

I stayed here last year for our pre cruise hotel and had no issues. Unfortunately we had 5 rooms and they all had cockroaches in the room, shower and bathroom. The hotel itself is in excellent condition. I don’t know what’s going on but the young lady at the desk acknowledged they were aware of the infestation and we were offered a refund. If you are cruising it’s honestly convenient. But we were not able to sleep at all and surrounding hotels were sold out. We were a group of 10 so we just waited for our cruise shuttle and slept on the cruise. I am also still waiting for the refund.

There were roaches in the sink and the bathroom was dirty. We were only there for a few hours for a layover.

Checking into the front desk was a breeze. After receiving the keys and getting settled into our room we left for the day and upon our return we found bugs in our room. When I went to speak with the front desk about it we were advised that the hotel was sold out and we were unable to change rooms. They did nothing to try and accommodate us for this inconvenience. We are with a group and the other rooms that were booked also had bugs in them. The manager was not on duty and the front desk staff was unsure of how to handle this situation. To say the least I also contacted hotels.com and they were also unable to assist. This was a very disappointing start to my vacation. I would not recommend the Cambria Orlando Airport and I would never stay here again.

Everything was wonderful except the walls they were thin and not soundproof. We had a 7:00am flight and we could hear our neighbors talking, not yelling until midnight.

Conveniently located next to the airport. Nice and clean, seems to be recently built. Downside was that you couldn't switch off the fan fully at night so there was always some kind of humming sound in the room.

The room was nicely kept but the bathroom sink had a very slow drain causing the sink to be dirty and also the water pressure from the sink was low as well. I was surprised that the room didn’t have a microwave.

Nice hotel the workers were really nice and helpful! I wish they had a microwave in the room and that breakfast was free but overall it was a good stay.

The room was nice and spacious. I loved the bathroom too. The pillows are wayy too soft and flat and the nifht bartender wasnt the best. She needs to treat all patrons the same and be more attentiive.

I came in on a late flight with my son. The site didn’t indicate where the free shuttle would be located. My flight landed in terminal C and the shuttle is located in terminal A. I think having a little more information about that would be helpful for travelers. The woman answering the phones at the hotel during the late shift was rude and spoke to me as if I were a child when telling me where I could find the shuttle. I think a Customer Service class wouldn’t be a bad idea. Even arriving to the hotel she was pretty rude. Overall the hotel was nice and room was really nice as well. I wouldn’t stay here again tho.

Check in process was horrible. Took 20 minutes just to get checked in. Once I got checked in I was given keys that didn’t work. I had to return and wait 10 more minutes to get keys. Person working the desk was unfriendly and distracted the entire time.

We arrived at the hotel around 11:00PM. Once in our room we went down to the front desk to ask for a set of new sheets and pillows as we were unsure if ours had been changed. The front desk person was very rude, sitting on her phone by the fireplace and letting us wander and try to find help. She finally got up and came over. We requested the new sheets and she went to the back room to the right of the door and said she only had a blanket. When we asked for clarification that there were no bedsheets or pillows in the entire hotel she said that was correct and repeated they only had the blanket. We were told they would need to place an order for sheets and we would get them the next morning. When we asked what would happen if someone bled or vomited in their bed and needed new sheets. They said they would still have to place an order for new sheets and they would be changed the next morning. Unbelievably poor customer service.

Fast, easy, prompt check in. Pleasant employees. was able to have early check in instead of lugging my luggage around till 4. I will definitely be staying here again anytime I travel to Orlando.

I’ve stayed at many Cambria hotels while on business trips, and they’re all fairly comfortable and clean. You really know what you’re going to get, and that’s comforting. Unfortunately, this property missed the mark dramatically with the front desk agent who checked me in. I didn’t get her name, but it was an Indian woman working the evening shift. When I arrived, she did not greet me; I had to reach out and greet her for service. I asked for a room on a high floor, away from the elevators, to which she tersely retorted that I would get whatever room she had available. There were no special requests. She noticed how upset I became, and then told me she would try and accommodate me. That accommodation was a room right next to the elevators, where I couldn’t sleep in the mornings during my entire stay. Between the guests being loud and the housekeeping staff banging doors at early hours, it was impossible to rest. When I arrived in my room, there was no body wash in my shower. I called the front desk and the same lady picked up. She wasn’t apologetic or empathetic, she coldly told me that I had to come down and get some if I wanted it. When I arrived to collect the body wash, I had to wait 20 minutes as the entire hotel staff was searching through a stack of envelopes looking for their pay check. Terrible guest service at this property! If you stay here, expect to be treated as subhuman. Management needs to make some serious changes to their staffing at this property. Stay away

The staff was not friendly, no eyes contact while taking. Very cold, they should not be the face of greeting customers.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the places we needed to be for my sister's funeral. Our key card stopped working the first day, so my husband went to the front desk to reactivate it, and the girl on duty was very, very rude and nasty. The next day we went downstairs to order breakfast front the restaurant and as we are sitting down my husband looks over and again she made a nasty comment at that point he ask for a supervisor and she started to apologize but the damage was done. Being rude is one thing, but nasty changes everything, and I was at a point where I was willing to change hotels. They need to retrain their staff and give them some kind of schooling on how to deal with their customers. We weren't staying there for free it was expensive and to be threated that way was uncalled for. Over all the hotel was nice but because of their staff i don't think i would go back.

Excellent front desk staff,the young lady behind the desk on a Friday was multi tasking and still managed to maintain great customer service

The staff is amazing both Denisha and Jolie displayed stellar customer service. The hotel is lucky to have them as part of the team!

This was further from the airport than advertised, but it was comfy and clean, and I stayed one night for a Cruise the next day, and there is a very accessible shuttle service to the cruise port that the Front Desk recommended which was amazing. Not much nearby but a few easy eats, and open late too.

Great hotel. However there is not much around it unless you rent a car or uber everywhere. Great stay over airport for only a few days.

Like that is close to the airport. Really quiet place. Small pool. You can communicate with them by text. Parking is bad. The time I was there some big working trucks took a lot of space so no parking for hotel guests. When I checked in I had to wait 15minutes because they were “changing” workers shift. Was more like making time I don’t know it was pointless… giving 4stars because of it and for the hotel cleanness.

A great value for my 1 night stay in and out of Orlando. Close to the airportt and highways. 👍

Amazing stay and staff the bartendar was amazing

The stay in itself was decent. The breakfast was confusing. We thought it was included but when we went down to eat there wasn't anyone there. The snacks were really really expensive. Even a cup of coffee was $3! The pillows were half the size of a regular pillow, and the room only came with four. But that being said, the room was clean, I'd stay there again.

The hotel was a good price and it was extremely convenient for an early morning flight out of Orlando Airport. It has it's own restaurant and bar which was also convenient for us for dinner. A gas station sits adjacent to it. It does not come with free breakfast however.

Hotel was new and clean, it had a restaurant with good food but under staffed. Good drinks. Our ride to the airport was on time and super nice. 4 stars across the board bc it is a bare bones hotel - not even free coffee lol. For us it worked as an overnight layover very fairly priced.

The room is clean, which is very important to me. The restaurant was terrific. I know, that usually isn't your first thought when you think of hotel food. The Shrimp and Grits are to die for!

This hotel was lovely. The room was spacious, clean, very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant was amazing, and the waitress was awesome. Pool area was great as well.

Pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is. Fantastic bar and restaurant!
