Property was definitely not like the photos. If I could have cancelled my booking and got a refund I would have. We paid extra to have the pool access room, nothing like the photos, disappointed. It would have been nice to be informed of the building works happening in the other pool access rooms. Not a nice view, nor the sound of angle grinders make for a relaxing stay. After complaining to the Manager, he set up umbrella and chairs on the beach every day for us. Much better view. The Manager did say he would look into the building works and maybe some sort of compensation, yet no reply from this. We end up spending all our time on the beach, which was great, defeated the purpose of paying extra for the access room. The prices were extremely high for drinks in resort, do yourself a favour and walk to 7/11 for drinks. The Resort is located approximately 1km walking along the beach from the main area of Lamai. We enjoyed the walk and even late at night felt safe walking the beach. When all the building works are finished, we could see this as being a nice place to stay. My advice please check prior to booking. We are frequent visitors to Thailand and have stayed in some pretty nice resorts. We thought this one would be worth the extra baht to stay, unfortunately not. You do not get what you pay for. The only bonus was the massage ladies on the beach, they were absolutely amazing.

J'ai séjourné dans cet hotel quelques jours avec ma famille. A notre arrivée, la piscine etait vide et en travaux. Nous n'avions pas été prevenus. Il fallait prendre la navette pour aller dans un hotel partenaire dans le centre de limai, où là, en prenant la navette au plus tôt, plus aucune place sur la vingtaine de transate s'y trouvant. La piscine a été remise en eau au bout de 2 jours. Ma fille s'est coupée le pied sur un carreau cassé dans l'eau. Il y a des déchets sur la plage et dans l'hotel au pied des massifs. Aussi, le bar de la plage ferme tot 17h max, impossible de diner au restaurent sans reserver, lequel ferme à 20h30. La salle de sport est H.S. Les équipements ont dû restés dehors. Le tapis de course ne s'allume plus et les autre equipements sont rouillés. Le petit dejeuner offert en dédommagement de tous les desagrements était médiocre. L'ouverture est de 8h à 10h. Dès 9h, il n'y a presque plus rien. Nous avons eu des box avec 2 mini croissants pour les jours d'excursion- mauvais . J'ai aussi insisté pour avoir un repas le soir offert. Pour 4, plats imposés en quantité vraiment insuffisante , pas de dessert et les boissons à notre charge. Nous sommes ressortis manger dehors. Il y a du choix en restaurants à 5 minutes à pied. Ce fut un des pires hotel de ma vie. Les français qui sejournaient étaient tous du même avis. J'espere pouvoir obtenir un dedommagement plus serieux de hôtel.com, que je n'ai jamais réussi à avoir en ligne pour le moment.

Hele den store pool som ligger smukt ud til vandet og der reklameres med på første billede er under ombygning. Ligner en byggeplads. Lidt dårligt ikke at skrive det, når den udsigt er halvdelen man køber jeg ind på.

It is an old hotel undergoing some renovations, but still not worth a 4*. Photos are deceiving. The beach is beautiful and long, great to walk and swim. But they have no service to the beach, you have to ask for beach chairs and umbrellas every day, and even then, they have limited quantities, so you mught end up with the towel on the sand and no umbrella. Needed to walk to other restaurants on the other end of the beach, because reataurant was very limited. Staff was very nice though, they were doing their best. Would choose a different hotel if visiti g Samui

Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Zimmer mit Poolblick sehr gross, die Matratze perfekt mit richtiger Härte in grossem Doppelbett. Die Einrichtung ist eher spartanisch. Eine Ablage für Koffer würde noch gut hinein passen. Das Bad war gross mit separierter Toilette, Glasduschkabine und kleiner Badewanne. Der Zustand des Zimmers und die Sauberkeit war perfekt. Nicht so gut war die Hellhörigkeit. Die schönen Balkone waren ab 12.00 Uhr mittags in den östlich liegenden Zimmern wegen fehlender Beschattung bis abends nicht nutzbar. Frühstücksbereich ist räumlich begrenzt. Es gab z.T. Gäste, die keinen Tisch fanden. Das Frühstück selbst war sehr überschaubar ohne Variabilität. Die Crew hier aber war auch extrem freundlich. Es gab viele russische Gäste, die zT abends laut und ohne Einwirkung auf ihre Kinder waren. Aktuell beginnen Renovierungsarbeiten in den Strandvillen bei laufendem Betrieb. Uns hat das aber nicht belastet. Das Hotel liegt weit abseits vom Ort Lamai. Kostenloser Shuttle-Service wird angeboten. Letzte Fahrt nach Lamai um 17.10 Uhr ist aber zu früh, um dort einen entspannten Abend zu verbringen. 19.00 Uhr wäre besser. Poolanlage und Strand sind sehr schön. Den Strand entlang sind fußläufig gute Bars und Restaurants zu finden. Auch zum Frühstücken.

L'hotel ne nettoie pas la plage, les transats sont à installer par vos soins. Le petit déjeuné très basic. Les 2 piscines sont en décrépitude beaucoup de carrelages manquants ! L'hotel a côté est tout en travaux donc du bruit dès 8h le matin. Personnel serviable, chambre très propre et literie bien.
L'hotel ne nettoie pas la plage, les transats sont à installer par vos soins. Le petit déjeuné très basic. Les 2 piscines sont en décrépitude beaucoup de carrelages manquants ! 1- resort not like in the picture presented- resort needs a big refurbished. 2- housekeeping service needs in fast reorganization- bedsheets not changed for 10 days trip; sand from the beach not cleaned with days ; shower area not cleaned for days. 3 - safety in our room not up to standards - money were missing from our wallet- in total 250 euros. 4 - care for guests not up to any standards-for late arriving guest from airport no possibility to have a snack or beverages- had to walk to 7/11 to buy those things. 5 - BBQ day at the resort needs to be better organized ,as it is now, needs and it is very haotic 6 - gym out of service for the whole vacation. 7 - beach bar out of service for the whole 10 days the we were there , I mean the bar it is not even there. 8 - the transfer from and to resort was not there - probably I missed the part, but when booking a package deal it supposed to be there automatically. 9 - the only positive thing I could say about this resort that the staff were nice and very welcoming- but the whole experience was a very bad one- and the missing money from the room was the cherry on top!!

Super gemütliches Hotel und dazu sehr sauber. Der Pool und die Lage waren unglaublich. Personal war dauerhaft bemüht, das wir uns wohl fühlten. Bett eine 10/10 :) wir kommen definitiv wieder

Billeder svarer ikke til virkeligheden, deluxe værelse uden vinduer, gardenview fra altanen til baggården. Ringe rengøring og morgenmad. Elevator virker ikke, meget høje trappetrin. Ringe internet.

Frühstücksbereich ist räumlich begrenzt. Es gab z.T. Gäste, die keinen Tisch fanden. Das Frühstück selbst war sehr überschaubar ohne Variabilität. Die Crew hier aber war auch extrem freundlich. Es gab viele russische Gäste, die zT abends laut und ohne Einwirkung auf ihre Kinder waren. Aktuell beginnen Renovierungsarbeiten in den Strandvillen bei laufendem Betrieb. Uns hat das aber nicht belastet. Das Hotel liegt weit abseits vom Ort Lamai. Kostenloser Shuttle-Service wird angeboten. Letzte Fahrt nach Lamai um 17.10 Uhr ist aber zu früh, um dort einen entspannten Abend zu verbringen. 19.00 Uhr wäre besser. Poolanlage und Strand sind sehr schön. Den Strand entlang sind fußläufig gute Bars und Restaurants zu finden. Auch zum Frühstücken.

Hôtel très bien, propre, ménage tous les jours. Personnel très avenant et toujours disponible Très bien pour les familles, pas de nuisances nocturnes. Magnifique plage !!! Points d’améliorations: ajouter un sèche cheveux, un fer à repasser et plus de transats sur la plage. Restauration manque un peu de choix

L'hotel ne nettoie pas la plage, les transats sont à installer par vos soins. Le petit déjeuné très basic. Les 2 piscines sont en décrépitude beaucoup de carrelages manquants ! L'hotel a côté est tout en travaux donc du bruit dès 8h le matin. Personnel serviable, chambre très propre et literie bien.

Déçue de cet hôtel , j ai réservé 10 jours avant et l hôtel ne préviens même pas que le piscine n est pas disponible ,le wifi ne fonctionne pas , j ai du me battre pour avoir 2 chaises et une table sur le balcon .les extérieurs sont sales , l hotel n a aucune âme …. Par contre la literie est très bien !!! Bref , à éviter

Alt var som det skulle være. Dejlig pool, god mad og drinks. Personale var super venlige! Og meget hjælpsomme med alt. Værelset var rent og nydeligt hver dag. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen næste år

Wir waren 2 Wochen sort und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir waren etwas skeptisch aufgrund mancher schlechter Bewertunden wurden aber positiv überrascht. Unser Zimmer war immer sauber und das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zu fuß kann man in unmittelbarer Reichweiter nicht so viel machen es gab aber einen Transfer nach Lamai und wir haben uns 6 Tage lang einen Roller gemietet. (Direkt an der Rezeption) Ein 7 eleven andere Supermärkte sind direkt un die Ecke, sowie viele gute Restaurants. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht und haben immer außerhalb gegessen in verschiedenen Restaurants die alle sehr gut waren. Zimmer war dank selbst regulierbarer Klima gut gekühlt und es gab auch einen Kühlschrank. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang, welches wir auch immer wieder nehmen würden. Es ist sehr geräumig und man hat eine eigene kleine Terasse 2 Sonnenliegen direkt am Pool. Der Pool ist renovierungsbedürftig, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Auch unmittelbar an den Poolzugang Zimmern ist noch der große Hauptpool mit Meerblick. Dieser wurde auch erst renoviert und ist sehr schön. Derzeit wird auch weiterhin renoviert und erneuert, was in keinster Weise gestört hat. Es ist schön, dass sich so viel Mühe gegeben wird das sowieso schon super Hotel auf Vordermann zu bringen .Wir fanden das Hotel super und würden auch nochmal wiederkommen.

Property was definitely not like the photos. If I could have cancelled my booking and got a refund I would have. We paid extra to have the pool access room, nothing like the photos, disappointed. It would have been nice to be informed of the building works happening in the other pool access rooms. Not a nice view, nor the sound of angle grinders make for a relaxing stay. After complaining to the Manager, he set up umbrella and chairs on the beach every day for us. Much better view. The Manager did say he would look into the building works and maybe some sort of compensation, yet no reply from this. We end up spending all our time on the beach, which was great, defeated the purpose of paying extra for the access room. The prices were extremely high for drinks in resort, do yourself a favour and walk to 7/11 for drinks. The Resort is located approximately 1km walking along the beach from the main area of Lamai. We enjoyed the walk and even late at night felt safe walking the beach. When all the building works are finished, we could see this as being a nice place to stay. My advice please check prior to booking. We are frequent visitors to Thailand and have stayed in some pretty nice resorts. We thought this one would be worth the extra baht to stay, unfortunately not. You do not get what you pay for. The only bonus was the massage ladies on the beach, they were absolutely amazing.

Fantastic staff both front of house and bar/restaurant, they remembered what I drank be that coffee in the morning or a Sangah Beer in the afternoon. Room was cleaned thoroughly each day and reception staff organised a motorcycle for me without hesitation Beautiful beach front location with plenty of bars and restaurants but about 1 kilometre walk along the beach to Lamai town

Vi bodde i rummet ”pool access”. Stort och fint rum med mycket utrymme samt fräscht badrum. Fina pooler och ligger precis vid stranden. Många trevliga restauranger precis brevid samt längs strandpromenaden. Billig massage intill hotellet som vi nyttjade flera gånger. Mycket trevlig personal. Skulle kunna bo där igen ☺️

Was concerned about the negative reviews seen. However on arrival it was great to see the renovation of the main pool had been completed We were upgraded to a pool view room. Which was great and the room was lovely. Beach is fantastic. Staff are excellent. Would defo recommend staying here if you don't want to be in the centre of Limai, only 15 min walk Ali and Stewart

This is an upper mid range beach hotel that is well looked after, comfortable and ideally located on Lamai Beach. We stayed in a pool access room which meant that the room opened onto a medium size pool and we had two chaise lounge chairs right outside our room. The room was well equipped with both large shower and deep bathtub. The bed was highly comfortable and the room contained a small fridge. The hotel is a little hard to find as there is only small signage on the main road and you have to drive past several other buildings on a gravel driveway before coming to the hotel. It does look very good as you pull in and we were generally pleased. The main pool which looked very impressive was being retiled so the only pool for the complex was the one outside the pool view and pool access rooms (like ours). We found several good restaurants close by and on the Lamai Beach “downtown” area. Also some good breakfast places so we didn’t avail of the hotel breakfast. Massage on the beach in front of the hotel was probably the best massage I have ever received. First time in years my back hasn’t hurt ! lol. All in all I would give the hotel a high rating based on the room that we stayed in (Pool Access Room)!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Das Hotel liegt sehr schön und abends kann man nett (mittelmäßig) essen gehen oder cocktails am strand trinken. Das Frühstück war lecker, die anderen Mahlzeiten okay, die Kellner sprechen leider kein bisschen englisch. Die zimmer waren sauber und der roomservice war top. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist super nett und hilfsbereit, durch sie kann man einfach Touren, Transfere oder Roller organisieren.

Alt var som det skulle være. Dejlig pool, god mad og drinks. Personale var super venlige! Og meget hjælpsomme med alt. Værelset var rent og nydeligt hver dag. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen næste år

We stayed 4 nights at the property. The main pool had recently been refurbished and was very nice. The staff were genuine, friendly and helpful.

Staff are lovely and professional. The hotel has a pool and a walk away that leads you to the beach. Close to the Lamai nightlife and a short drive to the other areas on the island.

Fantastic staff both front of house and bar/restaurant, they remembered what I drank be that coffee in the morning or a Sangah Beer in the afternoon. Room was cleaned thoroughly each day and reception staff organised a motorcycle for me without hesitation Beautiful beach front location with plenty of bars and restaurants but about 1 kilometre walk along the beach to Lamai town

Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Zimmer mit Poolblick sehr gross, die Matratze perfekt mit richtiger Härte in grossem Doppelbett. Die Einrichtung ist eher spartanisch. Eine Ablage für Koffer würde noch gut hinein passen. Das Bad war gross mit separierter Toilette, Glasduschkabine und kleiner Badewanne. Der Zustand des Zimmers und die Sauberkeit war perfekt. Nicht so gut war die Hellhörigkeit. Die schönen Balkone waren ab 12.00 Uhr mittags in den östlich liegenden Zimmern wegen fehlender Beschattung bis abends nicht nutzbar. Frühstücksbereich ist räumlich begrenzt. Es gab z.T. Gäste, die keinen Tisch fanden. Das Frühstück selbst war sehr überschaubar ohne Variabilität. Die Crew hier aber war auch extrem freundlich. Es gab viele russische Gäste, die zT abends laut und ohne Einwirkung auf ihre Kinder waren. Aktuell beginnen Renovierungsarbeiten in den Strandvillen bei laufendem Betrieb. Was concerned about the negative reviews seen. However on arrival it was great to see the renovation of the main pool had been completed We were upgraded to a pool view room. Which was great and the room was lovely. Beach is fantastic. Staff are excellent. Would defo recommend staying here if you don't want to be in the centre of Limai, only 15 min walk Ali and Stewart

This is an upper mid range beach hotel that is well looked after, comfortable and ideally located on Lamai Beach. We stayed in a pool access room which meant that the room opened onto a medium size pool and we had two chaise lounge chairs right outside our room. The room was well equipped with both large shower and deep bathtub. The bed was highly comfortable and the room contained a small fridge. The hotel is a little hard to find as there is only small signage on the main road and you have to drive past several other buildings on a gravel driveway before coming to the hotel. It does look very good as you pull in and we were generally pleased. The main pool which looked very impressive was being retiled so the only pool for the complex was the one outside the pool view and pool access rooms (like ours). We found several good restaurants close by and on the Lamai Beach “downtown” area. Also some good breakfast places so we didn’t avail of the hotel breakfast. Massage on the beach in front of the hotel was probably the best massage I have ever received. First time in years my back hasn’t hurt ! lol. All in all I would give the hotel a high rating based on the room that we stayed in (Pool Access Room)!

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, modern und sauber. Alle Mitarbeiter/innen sind super freundlich. Am Pool und auch am Strand findet man zu jeder Zeit Liegen und einen Platz im Schatten. Das Frühstück ist relativ klein, aber abwechslungsreich (einen Tag Pancakes, Waffeln, …), verschiedene Varianten mit Ei, Toast mit zwei verschiedenen Marmeladen sowie einer Sorte Wurst/Käse und ein paar warme Speisen + Früchte. Die Lage ist ein Traum. Zu unserer Zeit war es sehr ruhig. Auf der einen Seite konnte man zu tollen Felsen im Wasser laufen, auf der anderen Seite kann man Kilometer lang am Strand entlang laufen und findet verschiedenen Restaurants. Zudem gibt es eine süße kleine Strandbar.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Das Hotel liegt sehr schön und abends kann man nett (mittelmäßig) essen gehen oder cocktails am strand trinken. Das Frühstück war lecker, die anderen Mahlzeiten okay, die Kellner sprechen leider kein bisschen englisch. Die zimmer waren sauber und der roomservice war top. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist super nett und hilfsbereit, durch sie kann man einfach Touren, Transfere oder Roller organisieren.

J'ai séjourné dans cet hotel quelques jours avec ma famille. A notre arrivée, la piscine etait vide et en travaux. Nous n'avions pas été prevenus. Il fallait prendre la navette pour aller dans un hotel partenaire dans le centre de limai, où là, en prenant la navette au plus tôt, plus aucune place sur la vingtaine de transate s'y trouvant. La piscine a été remise en eau au bout de 2 jours. Ma fille s'est coupée le pied sur un carreau cassé dans l'eau. Il y a des déchets sur la plage et dans l'hotel au pied des massifs. Aussi, le bar de la plage ferme tot 17h max, impossible de diner au restaurent sans reserver, lequel ferme à 20h30. La salle de sport est H.S. Les équipements ont dû restés dehors. Le tapis de course ne s'allume plus et les autre equipements sont rouillés. Le petit dejeuner offert en dédommagement de tous les desagrements était médiocre. L'ouverture est de 8h à 10h. Dès 9h, il n'y a presque plus rien. Nous avons eu des box avec 2 mini croissants pour les jours d'excursion- mauvais . J'ai aussi insisté pour avoir un repas le soir offert. Pour 4, plats imposés en quantité vraiment insuffisante , pas de dessert et les boissons à notre charge. Nous sommes ressortis manger dehors. Il y a du choix en restaurants à 5 minutes à pied. Ce fut un des pires hotel de ma vie. Les français qui sejournaient étaient tous du même avis. J'espere pouvoir obtenir un dedommagement plus serieux de hôtel.com, que je n'ai jamais réussi à avoir en ligne pour le moment.

It is an old hotel undergoing some renovations, but still not worth a 4*. Photos are deceiving. The beach is beautiful and long, great to walk and swim. But they have no service to the beach, you have to ask for beach chairs and umbrellas every day, and even then, they have limited quantities, so you mught end up with the towel on the sand and no umbrella. Needed to walk to other restaurants on the other end of the beach, because reataurant was very limited. Staff was very nice though, they were doing their best. Would choose a different hotel if visiti g Samui

Ingenting her som minner om 4 stjerner. Stranden og renholdet av rommet er ålreit, men resten er rett og slett skuffende. Frokosten er knapt verdt besøket (mugg på crossaint bl.a.), bassengområdet er slitent og i dårlig forfatning. Det meste fremstår generelt veldig på halv tolv etter gjenåpning, og usikker på dette stedet vil ligne på bildene igjen. Ville valgt et annet hotell.

L'hotel ne nettoie pas la plage, les transats sont à installer par vos soins. Le petit déjeuné très basic. Les 2 piscines sont en décrépitude beaucoup de carrelages manquants ! L'hotel a côté est tout en travaux donc du bruit dès 8h le matin. Personnel serviable, chambre très propre et literie bien.

We were disappointed with our stay at White Sand Resort and expected much more. The service was poor from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was closing within 30 minutes, but nobody informed us. Instead, we were told to take a taxi into town, even though there was a restaurant just 100 meters away. The room had several issues. The TV did not work properly because there was bad internet connection, and the air conditioning stopped working when needed. We were even refused extra coffee because only two sachets per day were included. The worst experience was being charged 2,400 THB for a slightly stained bed sheet. Charging the equivalent of a hotel night in Bangkok for something that can be washed is completely unreasonable. Breakfast was also poorly managed, with key staff arriving after breakfast had already started, meaning the full breakfast was not available from opening. While the location is good, the poor service, maintenance issues, and unreasonable policies completely ruined our stay. We believe this experience falls well below the standard we booked and paid for, and we therefore request appropriate compensation or a partial refund for this stay. We cannot recommend this hotel and will not return.

My boyfriend and I had a 2 week stay here. We spent many days by the pool relaxing, nipping down to the beach for food & drinks and visiting all areas of the island as it’s not a long Grab from this area to the other side. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it’s very scenic, the pool has a direct view of the beach and it all felt very well kept. The staff were really kind and helpful. They were super polite and smiley which is so nice to see. Our first room unfortunately had an issue with the air con and with no trouble at all, they moved us; actually resulting in a bigger, arguably better room. We did note that their drains were a slight issue, being blocked and slightly smelly in both our rooms but wasn’t too bad. The staff came at different times during the day to change your bedding / towels which was nice so you could have a lie-in without having to reuse anything you didn’t want to reuse. The food and drinks we personally had at the restaurant were in our opinion, quite mediocre. It was okay for a quick bite if you’re having a lazy day by the pool but we opted to eat out each lunch and evening. I would absolutely stay here again, it’s overall a really lovely place to stay and I would recommend to friends and family! Thank you so much!

The food and drinks we personally had at the restaurant were in our opinion, quite mediocre. It was okay for a quick bite if you’re having a lazy day by the pool but we opted to eat out each lunch and evening. I would absolutely stay here again, it’s overall a really lovely place to stay and I would recommend to friends and family! Thank you so much!

Das bester an dem ganzen Hotel ist die Lage, da es direkt am schönen Strand von Lamai liegt. Bei Ankunft wurde ich gesehen aber gekonnt ignoriert. Mitarbeiter haben keine Lust einem zu helfen alles nur auf Nachfrage. Ich hatte eine Pool Villa, sehr schlecht renoviert, wird sehr warm (man wollte mir zuerst keine 2 Karte für die Klima geben, damit die bei Abwesenheit auch läuft), der Pool besteht quasi nur aus Chlor, Brause in der Dusche sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig,keine Handtuch Halter, kein richtiger Kleiderschrank. Frühstück ist in einem offenem Restaurant, also morgens schon recht warm, Speisen und Auswahl ist sehr überschaubar. Das beste an dem Hotel war die Cocktail Happy Hour, mit leckeren Cocktails zu einem angemessenen Preis. Mein Fazit von dem Hotel - keine Weiterempfehlung, da sich der hohe Zimmerpreis nicht in der Leistung widerspiegelt.
