We are surrounded by lots of waterfalls and rivers with countless swimming spots. 30 minutes hike through a beautiful area alongside a river you will find 'El Churimo' Waterfall, completely isolated in the jungle. One of the best things to do, is walk 10min up the road from the hostel and then walk back in the river, wading through small rapids and surrounded by thick jungle and lots of birds! We are a brand-new hostel in San Rafael, an up-and-coming town very close to Guatape. It's already very popular with Colombians (one of the most popular towns to visit in Antioquia) and slowly getting on the backpacker-map too! Guatape and the Rock (El Peñón de Guatapé) are also close by (30min by bus) for nice half-day-trips.
