It’s a beautiful property but the room we booked for four people and two dogs was extremely small and it was misleading how it was shown in the picture. It should have never been available for a party of four with two dogs. There was literally just room for the two full-size beds in there, and there was no place to put our things. The staff was very nice, but the amenities were lacking.. there was no refrigerator or microwave and the pool was so cold. We could not go in there. Also the sauna was really small like when you get off of Amazon definitely misleading, but the property was huge and beautiful. Lots of nice areas to walk around my dogs enjoyed it

Wonderful pool, relaxing environment. Wifi doesn't work in all spaces, which is a little tricky but allows you to detatch.

Just a little unloved. Massive pile of dirty towels at pool. Water buckets in saunas empty. Poor girl at front desk overwhelmed and kind of clueless. Wrong size tops put out for coffee cups so they spilled when picked up. Garbage on floor and empty cups/glasses all over property inside and out. The exit when you come out of the Pool House rooms (end of hallway) is really gross with a filthy old rug. Really beautiful place, maybe understaffed?

Very very noisy, we couldn’t sleep. Do not stay at the pool house, it’s smells humid and old and there is no sound insulation. Rooms are very basic, no usb connection, no room service. Warning there is No tv anywhere in any room. No Verizon or AT&T cellphone service but excellent WiFi. Pool water is cold.

The room was very small. No room for a chair. There was a queen size bed and a bench. The room had a very small bathroom. However, the bathroom hard what was needed. The grounds and pool were lovely.

beautiful accommodation! scenic property. has a pool and fire pit! the restaurant is not open every day. open Thursday-Sunday. no fridge in room so be prepared. there is the ros or diner nearby and The Cabin (which was fantastic). We will definitely stay here again

Great room and resort grounds, coffee shop is lovely. No TVs in some of the rooms and the bathroom is super small. But otherwise a fantastic spot. Firepits and SMORES!

The A-Frames glamping options are essentially $200/night for a hostel bed. Shared toilets (that are not cleaned daily). Bare amenities. A tiny 40 sqft living/sleeping area. A 500m uphill walk (that takes ~8-10 min) to the car park. - all for +$200/night Was clean, good cust svc and modestly comfortable, but charging +$200/night for essentially a hostel is absurd. Unless you 100% need to stay in town (unlikely), I'd suggest staying in Scranton or Poughkeepsie - and traveling 30-45 min for your event.

If I needed a place to stay in the area, I would come back. The place was very nice, clean, and well kept. We even sat around to fire pit and spoke with others staying there. We stayed in the main hotel building. The rooms were small, but clean. Be aware there are no TV's in the rooms, that may be a good thing for some. I also suggest that if the restaurant, Conover Club, is open it is a great meal. I have one minor complaint. They advertise that they give you free cups coffee in the lobby, but yet a cup of tea is almost $5? That makes no sense to me. I understand they have loose tea, but buy a box of tea bags.

We stayed in an A frame cabin. It was a very cool campsite vibe and cozy little cabin. There is a little chair and small table with a fan next to the bed. The bath house was a short walk from the a frame and was modern and clean. This is more like clamping than staying at a hotel. We had close encounters with deer and savored the serene peaceful environment on the grounds. There is a lodge with a little store and other cool things to do and explore on the property. Great place to disconnect and retreat. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

The front desk staff were very kind & accommodating. Alana was always very cheerful and helpful. I was able to check in earlier into the creekside cabin. It was very cute & cozy, and bigger than I expected. The property is very nice. The kids had fun making s'mores in the main hotel, which they do every evening. In the morning, I was offered an Americana in the lobby which was nice... & Delicious. Anytime we called front desk, they always answered & assisted us very politely. The only issue I had with this place was finding nice turds in the sofa under the cushions. However, they immediately sent housekeeping to clean it up and they cleaned the whole place up for us & took out our trash while they were at it. I liked that they pretty much had everything you need in the kitchen. Overall, it was a nice stay & we'll definitely be staying there again.

It was a nice place to stay but no tv no fridge no mini coffee maker but the free coffee in the shop was nice, tried checking in a half hour early and wasn’t able to check in until 5 -10 minutes passed the check in time.

The staff were super friendly and helpful! They check online and called (different workers at different times of day) to see if local restaurants were suited for us. They were clear and friendly with all the explanations or any questions we had.

The front desk staff were very kind & accommodating. Alana was always very cheerful and helpful. I was able to check in earlier into the creekside cabin. It was very cute & cozy, and bigger than I expected. The property is very nice. The kids had fun making s'mores in the main hotel, which they do every evening. In the morning, I was offered an Americana in the lobby which was nice... & Delicious. Anytime we called front desk, they always answered & assisted us very politely. The only issue I had with this place was finding nice turds in the sofa under the cushions. However, they immediately sent housekeeping to clean it up and they cleaned the whole place up for us & took out our trash while they were at it. I liked that they pretty much had everything you need in the kitchen. Overall, it was a nice stay & we'll definitely be staying there again.

I was impressed by the lack of tech. We didn’t have a tv, and for the first time had not used our phones. We really just enjoyed each other. Simple, yet right. Well done. Food was great and service was exceptional. We will return

We stayed in an A frame cabin. It was a very cool campsite vibe and cozy little cabin. There is a little chair and small table with a fan next to the bed. The bath house was a short walk from the a frame and was modern and clean. This is more like clamping than staying at a hotel. We had close encounters with deer and savored the serene peaceful environment on the grounds. There is a lodge with a little store and other cool things to do and explore on the property. Great place to disconnect and retreat. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

beautiful accommodation! scenic property. has a pool and fire pit! the restaurant is not open every day. open Thursday-Sunday. no fridge in room so be prepared. there is the ros or diner nearby and The Cabin (which was fantastic). We will definitely stay here again

Pretty grounds with helpful and friendly staff. There is no TV nor mini fridge in rooms. Property was out of stock for most breakfast items.

The bathroom was so small you could hardly move. The medicine cabinet (why even have one in a hotel) hung out so far you couldn't lean over the tiny sink to spit out your toothpaste. The shower was probably 24" by 24". They gave free coffee in the morning but not tea. The tea had to be purchased for $4.32. There was nothing really to eat for breakfast except Costco danish. Ugh. And that was not free!!! The closest place to get breakfast was at least a 10 minute drive. The price for this hotel was not worth it. And no TV, refrigerator, or microwave in the room-there wouldn't be room!!! And our door lock stopped working and we had to wait for maintenance to come and fix it. We couldn't get back in our room for half an hour. My car key was in there so we couldn't go get our breakfast. I'll never go there again.

The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.
