Peninsula Sunset View of Keowee

The house was clean and had a lot of amenities. Perfect set up for us. Our only complaints, the hill getting to the lake is a little steep and if you don't plan ahead is a workout going back up. Also, when we arrived we immediately realized the water tasted bad and noticed the fridge water filter needed to be replaced. They never replaced it during our stay and we had to keep going to the store to buy more water. It should have been replaced immediately.

Our stay at the West Union home was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the house felt warm, inviting, and truly special. The property is exceptionally well kept, with every detail thoughtfully maintained, making it clear how much care and pride the owners put into the home. What really stood out was the hospitality. They went above and beyond to accommodate us with genuine Southern charm that made us feel completely welcomed and at home throughout our stay. The property itself is truly one of a kind — peaceful, beautiful, and full of character. If I could pick this house up and place it on a beach, it would honestly be my dream home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely love to return.

Fantastic weekend retreat with friends! Perfect spot, plenty of space.

Great place especially for families with kids. We had a great time. Clean, organized, as advertised - we will be back! The walk down to the lake is fairly significant incline. Something to be aware of - not easy for elderly or individuals in poor health.

We had a wonderful week at Lake Keowee and this house was one of a kind. It has great space, comfortable rooms, a beautiful view and a pool! The pool is what really puts the house over the top. So great for the kids! The walk to the dock is pretty steep, but that is to be expected at Keowee. Hope to be back soon!
