We very much enjoyed our three nights stay here at the end of May. The cottage was very clean, spacious and light and nicely decorated and furnished. It was warm and cosy and the heating worked very well when it got a bit chilly. The kitchen was very well stocked (much better than usual). There were some interesting books on the shelves in the dining area and the second living room, the start of a small library (it would be great to have more books of local interest). You could see the sea, Brendon /Exmoor Hills and Old Cleeve village from the cottage and the views were even better from the grounds of the adjoining Cedar House to which you have access too. One night we had an outdoors dinner there while admiring the sunset views. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and gracious. The bottle of wine that was presented on arrival was a lovely gesture. The cottage was superbly located for trips to Dunster Castle and village, Watchet, Blue Anchor, Porlock and Porlock Weir, Selworthy, Lynton/Lynmouth, and Exmoor National Park. There is easy parking on the little driveway right next door to the cottage. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would happily stay here again.
