Penthouse Cph inner City

This apartment is in a great location and is a short walk to most popular attractions in the city. There is a lot to do around it. The apartment is on the top floor and the elevator is old and small. Be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs. There is a wine bar downstairs and it was very loud all night long. We booked in the summer, so the reviews that say that it is not loud maybe are from those that stayed during non-peak seasons. Both nights, the people on the streets were extremely loud and were shouting, talking and banging things around (within the building itself too) until 3am or 4am. There is no air conditioning in the apartment, so keeping the windows open is the only thing that helps to cool it off. We could not sleep with the windows open due to the loud noises and the apartment became hot, uncomfortable and stuffy. The host told us that we booked during a popular season and this is to be expected as he could not help the actions of drunk people in the streets. Then there was also the street cleaners and garbage collectors that started to work around 530-6am and continued to empty the trash dumpsters full of glass containers. You could hear this very well from the apartment. Overall, we enjoyed the apartment for the location, but being a tourist and having a busy and exhausting sightseeing schedule, it was disappointing not to get rest all night long. We even tried ear plug and you could still hear the screaming and banging through these.

Our stay was excellent. The location was very central and the apartment met all our needs. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We recommend this to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

The property was nice and conveniently located. Pia was waiting for us at the apartment when we got there and check in was seamless. There is a wine bar right downstairs, but it did not creat much noise during the late evening hours.
